The First KOA Blog Post

The First KOA Blog Post

Hello to all our amazing campers.  We are working on improving the communication and interaction with our campers and well lets try a blog.  I have never done one before so I really hope I am on the right track.

So lets start this out with saying welcome to everyone new and old to our beautiful piece of paradise.  If you haven't been to our campground let this be an invitation to you to stop in and stay awhile.  We have over 150 acres where there is lots to do.  Fishing in the lake, practicing your golf swing or cooling off in the splash pad.

Upcoming long weekend events have been posted to our events page. Sadly this year our renown fireworks display will not be happening.  With the expected heat wave we have decide err on the side of caution.  We hope our campers and the community understand.

Some of the fun events that are still in place for the weekend are Reptile Rainforest, Ice cream Social, Candy bar bingo, and 50/50 draw.  Our long weekend wouldn't be complete without our famous spaghetti dinner and pancake breakfast.

To hold us over for the festivities for Canada Day we are having a raffle for Father's Day to support Care Camps and there will be a Bingo at the pavilion on Saturday June 17th at 7:00P.M.

For those who are attending the park I do want to mention some great items in the store.  We have some amazing vendors Jewelry by Bev, Unique Creations, and Six's Kitchen Hot Sauces just to name a few.

Well that's it for the inaugural blog post.  We do love hearing from our campers and love when you give us a call.  We have a better feel for making your reservations, and listening to your needs.  We hope everyone has a great summer and I will be back with more blogs.

Camping 2023 commences.
