We had another wonderful stay at the Red Lodge KOA. The Tubbs are wonderful hosts, and they work hard to make all campers experience the best possible stay.

Horrible! No trees in 22-38, pool closed and didn’t seem that they were even working on it, dig area was the worst one ever been to as it had no water, no bench, and the bottom of the fencing had large gaps making it unsecure. Then I’m in the dog park when a lady pulls up from outside the rv camp and says, “will you be long?” I’m paying to be at the campground. Will not return.

Wow, pretty harsh!Sorry we are not a fit for you.Unfortunately trees are hard to come by in MT.As for the pool,I was on the phone most of the week working on a solution.Feel free to ask next time.Dog Park-You must have missed the large picnic table at the entrance.Most folks love are huge dog run.JT

This is the second time we have stayed at this KOA. They are very friendly and helpful. We added a night and had to move. It was easy and both spaces were level. We will stay again if we are in the area!

Great little camp, but if you’re up by the highway it’s very noisy. Would not stay there again unless we get one of the few full hookups and down away from the highway. Staff was very nice and helpful. The dog area was great and clean. The dump station was clean and usable. The pool wasn’t working, but overall the grounds around the camp were clean and maintained.

Should be discounted for no pool. Welcome was nice, glad to have water elec & dump station.

My family had a family reunion and at times there were up to 50 family members at the camp. The camp was clean, the staff was amazing, the camp sites were really comfortable and fun, with a fire pit and table and chairs, very homey. The pool was closed so the staff organized arts and crafts for the kids to make sure they had something to do. it was very nice.

We had a great spot in the trees, the campground was clean organized and responsive to questions. While the pool was out of order, we knew in advance and it did not impact our stay. They have a jump devise for the kids and a dog run. Close to town… loved our stay.

We have saved this koa to stay again next summer. Very friendly owners. Very nice bath houses. Pretty creek runs through the campground. Plenty of things for the kids to play on and close to town! Highly recommend

Saw the owner several times daily, cleaning sites, delivering wood, meeting new folks. That’s how it is here, super clean facilities, level sites, great atmosphere, close to town. Top of our list for future stays.

We stayed there for a week. The owners were great. Very helpful and the facilities were well maintained. I highly recommend Red Lodge KOA.

We were at this camp ground before the flood when the previous owners had it. The camp ground was poorly run lots of unkept sites, lots of unruly guests that were not taken care of by the owners which made our stay terrible. This time under new owners the camp ground has been completely renovated so clean, the owners I met the owner and told him how nice it was. No rancious guests. Top Resort now.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The area we stayed in was very quiet. The area was smaller than our previous stay so not as much opportunity to play games outside. The only negative for me was all the added costs: people visiting, extra people staying, etc. All in all it was a great stay and the staff was amazing.

Very busy street, loud. We got a call someone complained about our dogs inside our RV. Asking around, no one complained. All in all - no thank you (obviously as at all KOA the pool was closed for whatever reason).

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Camper left 3 dogs and a cat in RV with a window open.I had campers on both sides and I could hear barking from the store so I called before someone complained.We welcome pets but they are required to behave even when you're not on location.Happy Kamping, JST

Great host, great Park, great site, convenient to a lot of attractions. Staff was attentive, but not ever present. Store was stocked very well. The only downside is something they can’t do anything about. Those darn Cottonwood trees!

Friendly staff. A bit disappointed in the pool situation. No pool this year and from what I was told possibly no pool again? To bad for the family with kids. Place was clean and well maintained.

This KOA is one of the best! The owners and staff are top notch and truly want you to enjoy your stay. We only stayed two nights, but will be back for a longer stay. It's only a few miles from downtown Red Lodge and a pretty short drive to Beartooth Pass. The sites are level, the amenities are great and the bathroom/showers are clean with lots of hot water. We had a KOA Patio site and it was perfect. Thank you Jason and Rebecca.

The staff here are amazing. The Jason & Rebecca along with staff make you feel so welcome. They truly care about you. At 10 pm something woke me. I called the office to have someone come check. I thought it was squirrels on my roof of the rv. Jason came right out. The wind was blowing and it was tree branches hits the rv. The next morning we all laughed about the situation. Everything was clean and in working order. Nice hot showers ! Jason , thank you for your prayers. I will definitely be back to stay at your KOA.

I have not been a fan of KOA in the past.. our recent visit to red lodge gave me a change of heart! The location is perfect. It's approx 4 miles from the cutest town of red lodge. Shops, restaurants, bars all nearby. We rode our motorcycle over beartooth pass- The sites were large and VERY clean. We were on a month long road trip in our C class also towing our trailer. When we arrived the owner Jason, his wife and Jim were VERY accommodating. Assuring we had enough room and were level. the premium sites were already booked, but I would reserve one next time for sure. They had concrete pads and super nice outdoor furniture. You can burn real fires which was nice. Our spot had hookups and were spacious with a fire pit. The restrooms were private ( shower, sink and toilet ) super super super clean. The showers had plenty of shelves for your toiletries and the wind outside had plenty of space. The store had all a ton of options.. probably one of the best stops and spots. That's where I will stay next time and I'm very picky. Thanks for having us, Jason and Danielle, WA state.
