I really liked the owners of the KOA and had a pretty good time. I'm more used to tent camping with fewer people, and the campground felt a little cramped for me. We were definitely a little too close to our neighbors where we could hear just about everything they said. We were also not huge fans of the street lamp that shined into our tent, even though I tried to tell myself it was the moon lol

This place was great! We had a lovely site next to the creek which was secluded and shady, but still close to the office and other facilities. Everything at the campground was well maintained, and staff members were friendly and always available to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend this campground to anyone staying in the Red Lodge area, and would happily stay there again.

Very Friendly and accommodating folks to work with, The facilities were very up to date and very clean. I have to say it is probably one of the nicest KOA's we have stayed at. Keep up the good work!!

Jason and Rebecca run a wonderful facility, we were impressed with their friendly welcome upon arrival and how helpful the entire staff was during our stay. We look forward to going back next season. We stayed in a cabin and really enjoyed everything about the red lodge koa, were Montana charm meets southern hospitality! Keep up the great work….

Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Campground was immaculately kept and beautiful. Sites were clean and provided not only a table and fire pit but also a raised fire pit for cooking. Bathrooms were superb -beautiful design and clean. Lovely little gift shop/convenience store. Reasonable driving distance to the town of Red Lodge but not right in town so quiet. Would definitely return.

What a wonderful place! Owners Rebecca and Jason pay attention to every detail, especially the cleanliness of the campground. They, along with staff Barbara and Tom, are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The laundry area was clean and all machines I used were clean and in good working order. All areas that we visited were clean and tidy.

We stayed in many rv parks in the past and your place was 100% better and more reasonably priced. We will for certain be back. The sites are big, private and well maintained

Everybody was extremely friendly. We stayed inside number one which was fairly close to the highway so it was a little bit noisy. There was a big hail storm while we were away from our site. Everybody was very kind and helping us throw away our tent shelter that was destroyed in the storm.

Very friendly and helpful owners. The campground is immaculate, great location, huge trees, small stream, and colorful flowers everywhere. Very nice store. Bathrooms were spotless. Great place for kids with a wonderful campground, nice pool, and gold mining station. Nice pet area for off-leash fun. Few full hook-up sites, but a dump station; however, no ability to flush your tanks.

Stayed in a kamping kabin, very clean, has a mini-fridge and heater worked well. Very happy with my stay!

On this Yellowstone trip we stayed at 5 different KOA s. This was our favorite. Great facilities, quiet. Very friendly staff made you feel welcome.

We had a great time with our friends, however, we were quite disappointed that despite confirming the 3 sites with the organizer of the group, we were moved to a non- sewer site, not connected to the others! To make matters worse we watched 2 other rigs, in the site originally booked, w/ no sewer needs come and go! Not good business practice.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This camper never had a FHU site booked. The 2 friends telephone and upgraded to FHU.I personally telephoned this camper to offer them a w/e site like they booked,1 site from friends FHU site, and they graciously agreed.Unsure why so upset; they were given exactly what we talked about. Perplexed!RT

Great location. Cabins are perfect and situated near a creek. The sound of running water was so relaxing. Internet is outstanding. My hats off to KOA for installing a wheelchair accessible shower. Very clean restrooms. One the nicest campgrounds I've been to, and staff is the best.

The hosts were engaging and friendly. The public spaces ie. lobby, bathrooms/showers, pool, play area, were all exceptionally well kept. The large fenced dog exercise area was wonderful. The only issue we had was the sites we and our friends were in were not as level as we would have preferred for the size of our RV's. Ours is 35' and our friends is 38". The first step was a doozie

Glad you enjoyed your stay.These campers wanted to leave a trailer attached to their MH and they were told to do so would push the rig almost to the road which would be more difficult to level.They knowingly chose to do so.JST

Everything was great except for trying to level up. The spaces, my group were in, need to be graded back to level. Having a sewer option at each site would be nice but it was not critical to our stay. Just something to consider. We definitely intend to stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Red Loge KOA! The grounds were clean and beautifully kept. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The kids had a blast on the playground, in the pool and with the sluice box. The location is also ideal, being slightly removed from town but close enough to run in for a stroll down main street and some ice cream. Highly recommend this campground!

We had never been to this section of Montana. From the moment we checked in we were welcomed, informed of things to do in Red Lodge, and awesome, scenic drives to take. The grounds and sites were well maintained and the owners of the KOA Red Lodge were helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay and we’ve already recommended this campground to other RVers.
