Meet Your Hosts

Sherri Takaki

It's always time for camping!

In her life before KOA, Sherri was involved in the vacation rental industry, where she worked in South Lake Tahoe for 17 years. She started her KOA career at the Acton/North Los Angeles KOA Holiday. She and her husband, Wayne, then moved to the Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay KOA Holiday, where she grew through a series of positions to become the Assistant Manager, before moving to one of our newest OAK locations, the Red Bluff KOA Journey, as the Operations Manager. During their free time, Sherri and Wayne enjoy biking, enjoying nature and spending time with family.
