Even though is a Journey, it felt like a Holiday. They have a nice pool, gazebo and do small events. There are fully shaded and sunny spots. Tent spots that feel very woodsy. Location is great. 5min to gas station & grocery store. 10min to restaurants and 15min to great beaches. We will come back for sure!

Note that some of the pull thru sites have a shared power box with two 30 amp plugs. You’re also looking at your neighbors.

Great spot, nice treed sites and friendly office staff. The middle of our site was not level but it was so long we were able to park in the back and level out just fine.

Great location and well maintained. Our site was little cramped with no designated fire pit. We were in the area for the attractions so it didn’t bother us. Next time I’d go for a spot in the back.

We only stayed two nights to see Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Campground was clean and well organized. The pool is kept heated and although we did not use it many others were. The sites are wooded with gravel pads. There is a grassy area near the pool and playground to play on. The only negative thing is the playground. It is in good condition but outdated with the tall metal slide.

Nice level site with water and electricity. Restrooms and showers clean and well cared for. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool looked great but we didn't use it. The water hookup was farther than I had hose, but Steve loaned me another hose to use so we could connect. This was an excellent place to stay to see Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore.

Decent location, Wi-Fi was adequate most of the time, the lack of sewer hookups is a pain but I understand why that is here. Nice camp store, great staff, nice bath rooms. A little expensive for just W/E hookups, though.

Always enjoy camping there. The beautiful scenery and attractions are excellent. The town is smaller and very nice with awesome choices of food. It's nice to sit back and relax.

The staff and owners were friendly, however they should be required to take a chair and sit in the wooded camp sites and be eaten alive by the misquotes both in the morning and evening. This could be, avoided if they cleaned up all of the old, rotting leaves and removed all of the breeding sites for the misquotes. Please clean up the misquote infestation.

The campground was not very well maintained. The pool had no water. The store was nice and the people working there were nice.

The sites were VERY unleveled and only one restroom for the whole park was terrible! Then the mosquitoes were swarming and horrible, while that’s part of nature it seems like fogging the park would help! We were supposed to be there 3 nights and only stayed one

Very friendly and inviting staff. Facilities all worked well and were clean. Some sites are very tight and are unknown to be “buddy” sites when registering. Overall. Great location close to Munising and all the region has to offer.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and offered some great recommendations on places to go and things to see. The campground was nice, and most sites were shaded, the bathrooms were clean with decent sized showers. Although we didn't use it, there was a clean heated pool as well as an onsite laundry mat. I would certainly stay here again if we were in the area.

Beautiful area. We liked the shade but we felt the campsites were extremely packed together with no privacy. You faced your neighbors which was unlike most KOA's we stayed at. The hookups are all in the front so if you're pulling a travel trailer you can't really reach the sewer which we have not experienced at other KOA's. We got by and it was a nice location though. Tough if you have pets though

Great staff. Clean restrooms that function well. Nice shaded sites that feel more like a state park than a KOA. Good location relevant to Munising and Pictured Rocks NL. We would definitely return.

Like most private campgrounds, the site was a little small; however, they were nicely shaded. The pool looked nice, but when we visited, there was no water in it yet. The shower building was average. It could have used a little more room in the shower stalls. I kept bumping my elbows into the wall while washing my hair.

Just two adults. We were in spot 91. It was lovely! Surrounded by trees and a wide spot for our travel trailer. The campground was well kept. It was pretty quiet. Staff in office were very nice. We mainly camped s that we could explore Picture Rocks National Lakeshore. Bathrooms were clean and pump out station was easy to use. I did notice a Little Library outside the office, in case you need it.

Needs some more upkeep. Lots of leaf cover that harbored mosquitos all day long. Hard to be outside and enjoy.

The gentleman in the office was correct: site 63 (elec only) is the best site! Bathrooms clean, staff great, grounds well maintained. Would come again.

The guy at the desk was a great help super nice and accommodating. Had to move on and change my reservation and he did it no questions ask refund given .hope to go back to that specific koa

Friendly folks but…Dog park wayyyy too small, and there is ample room to expand. Poop baggie station needed attention. And the mosquitos! Can’t you spray or something? Made it impossible to sit outside.

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
