We had a late check-in and an early check-out, staff was very easy to work with and very accommodating over the phone. The cabin was comfortable and quaint, the bathrooms were clean. It provided us the perfect spot to catch some Z’s on our journey through the U.P.

Organized, welcoming, and thoughtful responders to others. I watched them listen and find better solutions than customers suggested from the little things such as coin exchange and ice alternate locations and up. Pretty real flowers growing in porch boxes on out cabin were the best detail, plus wooded site.

Booked a cabin, as soon as the door opened the smell hit us. We left all the windows and door opened to air it out. Told the front desk and got really no response. It smelled like old pee mixed with a closed up cabin smell. It’s bad when my kids say we should have just tent camped.

It was perfect. We stayed in a cabin. It was very cute and clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The whole campsite was very nice! I would highly recommend staying here. I will be staying again in the future. Thank you!

Camping cabin this stay. We didn't know the two beds would be super small bunks, but we made it work. A description would be nice. We alao could not find a camp sink for dishes, maybe we missed it. Pool was very warm! Clean showers and bathrooms. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.

Heat worked well. Edges of bed were dusty. Room was fine. Bathrooms were clean . Pretty setting, nice trees and shade.

Arrived late after office closed. Staff called to let me know how to get my key. They were friendly. Cabin and bathrooms were clean. Campground was quiet and cabin was a great place for the night. Town is close so easy to run into for dinner after a long day on the road. This was my second stay at this KOA.

Cabin was run down. Had a giant electric fireplace that didn’t work and was substituted with a base board heater that cannot keep up with sub 50°. The bed was also painfully uncomfortable. Never saw any staff in the grounds other than check in.

Great hosts and service. Facilities are very clean and maintained well The handicap accessable shower in women's bathroom is wonderful. Should have hand bars in dressing section of that shower for balance aid . Overall, great facilities and staff.

First time to this area, joining relatives that had their own RV, so we chose the mini cabin to have our own space. Very nice campground, and Steve greeted us with a smile and overview of the campground. We had a beautiful 4 day stay at this location, close by the hiking and sightseeing we wanted to do at Pictured Rocks.

There was loud beeping from trash trucks across the street at the dump. The water tasted off and I was concerned about water quality with the landfill so close. That was a lot to pay for a tiny cabin when there is no amenity except a pool that they didn’t let us swim in.

Our cabin was clean and in a great location. I did have some concerns about the bathroom plumbing as it was backed up in the shower one morning. Thankfully the team addressed these concerns immediately but I’m not sure if it’s a reoccurring issue. On a bright note - we left a night early and they reimbursed us for our last night, a nice surprise that we weren’t expecting. We would try again

My son and I stayed in cabin #58 and it was very clean and cozy. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking.

Very disappointed in the Bathhouse. Was not kept up , Totally ran out of Toilet Paper , waited long time for some to get there. Also large Shower was full of water , discussing!,,, not happy because We paid premium price ! $140. For Camping Cabin, twice the usual amount ,,, !

This KOA seemed so tightly cramped compared to the other KOAs I’ve stayed at in Michigan. We stayed in the cabin because it was last minute and that’s all they had available, which was actually pretty nice. It was hard to get to the pool without walking all the way around all of the other campers, some were grumpy and didn’t want you walking through their campsite to take a shortcut.

The cabin was adorable with pretty flowers on the porch. The cabin retained the heat of the day and was very hot. No air conditioner. The ceiling fan did not help. Bring a good fan. Also garbage bags. They had a very small waste basket in the cabin; gallon sized. Bring sleep mask. The cabins are 2 feet apart and the neighbors car lights hit directly into the window. Curtains do not cover well.

Recently stayed in a rental cabin at this KOA. Staff was friendly, the cabin was clean and comfortable. Bathroom/shower house were also clean. Only issue I noticed; was a Sunday when I arrived, is the dumpster was overflowing with trash. Refuse collection was completed early Monday morning before I departed.

We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July weekend. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and there's plenty to do at the campground and in the area. The campground is less than 10 minutes from Munising so it's in a very convenient location from town for those last minute purchases. We will definitely go back next year

My cabin was in poor shape. It was difficult and inconvenient to get to the bathroom since all of the sites around the "green" were rented which made it challenging to "cut through" camp sites and you had to travel on the road. This would be nearly impossible in the middle of the night! Usually I feel pretty safe as a solo woman traveling, but farther from office than anticipated.

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
