The campground was GREAT! I wish our site had been just a bit larger but overall we loved it. The bathrooms were clean! It was quiet and appeared there was plenty for the kiddos! We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone thinking about a place to stay!

More space than usual bw stites. Much of the campground is wooded, beautiful, but electric water only. Some sites near the road would be very loud. Lots of tent sites. A pool, but no other amenities for kids. Nice T-shirts in camp store, helpful staff, and dog stations, pen. Near Pictured rock sights and small town.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! Majority of our sites are full hook or electric and water. We have the pool but also offer activities for the kids weekly and have a small playground, games in the office and basketball.

The worst experience ever and we’ve stayed at a lot of KOAs. Made our reservations early March for late July stay. Was given site 90, the facilities are shared with site 91, so they’re on the wrong side which is very inconvenient, and problematic if you don’t travel with (50/30 amp and H2O extensions. Worse part of our stay (reduced from 3 to 1 nights) was the dishonesty from Steve- shame o

Nice clean camp ground. Sites are a bit close and small but most KOAs are like that.

Pool was warm, site was one of the larger sites. Was a little muddy in low spots from rain. Was a pull through but number was facing the wrong way. Could not see number from where you pull in.

Beautiful sites in wooded setting. Staff was very courteous. Pool is nice size and heated. Only complaint is that for having so few full hook up sites, one bath house is not enough.

Internet access was almost nonexistent except in early morning hours. Showers were so small one could barely turn around. Only 3 washers and 3 dryers made for a long wait to wash clothes.

We do not stay long at the campsites we usually are out site seeing but enjoy coming in watching TV checking out the next days activities. The wifi was terrible so no surfing the web or watching TV. Shower and bath house was clean and staff was helpful or it would been a 5 for sure.

Top of the worst three campgrounds I’ve stayed, & definitely the worst KOA I’ve stayed. We couldn’t select a site b4 arrival, they split us up after we asked to be put in close proximity to our friends, they put us (a childless couple) backed up w/in 10 feet of a pool full of screaming kids playing every day, they tried to make a road into a campsite where they put our friends & wouldn’t f

Unfortunately, your reservation was made online and it has the description of site location. It also did not have a note attached for party request. We do our absolute best to accommodate requests to be near each other and are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay.

Stayed in a full hookup site, which is advertised as "up front". Well, up front is around 150 feet from M-28, a 65 MPH highway with traffic 24/7. Road noise was unbearable. The further back in the campground you go, the noise is less; the sites are nice, but the mosquitos are voracious to the point of not being able to sit outside. Great location, but avoid sites 1-8 if you can.

This KOA was in an decent location. Easy access. The sites could use some attention. Many were muddy after a rain. A number of sites were unlabeled. I would recommend having a skid steer spread and level with crushed stone.

I was blown away at the beauty of this park. I was expecting campers sardined in. There were loads of trees between sites, it felt like we were truly in the woods. Only we had wonderful amenities including a heated pool!

This campground was perfect for what we needed. We were looking for a place to stay for a short time so we could visit Pictured Rocks, take a cruise on Lake Superior and do some laundry. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Our site 18 is on a slight incline, too much for our automatic leveling system. I was able to level it manually after moving the trailer two different times. It was easy to back into the site. Lots of trees and shade. All in all a very nice place. I’ll also review in KOA on RV life

Great amenities. Showers and bathrooms are immaculate. The pool was nice and warm. And our spot made it simple to watch the kids in the pool while doing what we needed at our site. Minor negatives Our spot was tight so difficult to back into, but there are bigger ones, and it rained while there and our spot was mostly dirt so it made a muddy mess.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the staff was all very pleasant and helpful. Would stay there again if we're ever passing by the area again.

We were told we had a pull thru but there was a truck and camper that made that impossible ….we were unsure what the deal was so we called the emergency number and she said she would call us right back but never did. Fortunately we are a van so just parked and slept the night but paid for all hook ups. When I checked in early I was told there was someone still in the spot at 9pm still there

The camp ground is very nice. The sites are very large. The pool was nice and clean along with the showers and bathrooms. The staff was very friendly. The children had a fun time painting rocks and the young man running the event was very friendly and helpful with the children. I highly recommend this KOA.

Not one of my favorite campgrounds. We were grateful we found a last minute available site. The campground is nicely treed and level. Small narrow site (the awning did not fully expand) and an unappealing fire ring/pit area. The garbage bins (and odor) were across the road and worst of all the garbage truck came by at 5:15AM with back up beeping, clanging...forever.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and in working order. Most of the campground is shaded. I only saw a couple of spots that were not shaded.

Great location with a lot of amenities. We didn't get to go swimming because we were busy exploring Lake Superior. The bathrooms were kept clean (but were closed for 2 hours mid-day). The people in the front were very friendly and helpful too.

The KOA was "base camp" for the Pictured Rocks boat tour and many Waterfalls hikes.

Everything worked and WiFi was strong. Great location that was easy to navigate through. We should have stayed a day or two longer but had an event to attend.

Our first KOA experience was a good one! Very kid-friendly with a pool and small playground. The staff was helpful with local recommendations and they even have free coffee in the morning.

Stopped in for a night while travelling through. Easy on/off roadway and access to camp site. Lots of green space next door for our dogs between campground and hotel. Well stocked store!

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
