We stayed in August with a class C RV. This is a very nice KOA, clean and shady. Definitely would go back. Just wish they had more full hook-ups but they did have a dump station.

Adorable campground with lots to do and very helpful employees. Love the big secluded campsites where you are not packed in like sardines in other KOA’s

The only complaint is that the roads are so dusty! Why not chloride them or pave them. It’s a beautiful camp ground but probably will look somewhere else that the roads are not so dusty if we were to come back to picture rocks

Disappointed when garbage trucks were backing thru the campground at 5:45 a.m. with backup alarms blaring.What about quite time??Also felt there should be a second rest room near the back of the campground.

This was a last minute camping and hiking trip we planned and were lucky to get the last spot for our timeframe. Overall, we would come back to stay another time. The campground was not over the top like others with all the water attractions and playground. The grounds were very clean, as well as the bathroom facilities. The campground was very quiet at night l would recommend a stay here.

Very dusty and dirty. Friendly staff. Free ice cream! Garbage truck dumping dumpsters before 6 am and backing down the road where there were campsites with the backup beeper going the whole time!! Kids and adults recklessly riding hoverboards and electric scooters very fast putting bikers and pedestrians at risk. Reasonable laundry rates.

The KOA provided a more primitive camping experience, more like a state campground only triple the cost. Rustic can be fun however the sites are haphazardly positioned and roads inside very narrow. No internet. The only draw is its proximity to Picture Rocks cruises. Unlike other KOAs near large attractions there was no shuttle service to the dock.

Campground was ok...but could use a refresh of landscaping...along roads and around the sites. Is was great to see so many family's with children enjoying and using all playground equipment, pool, and riding bikes. We are retired and prefer less activity...but it doesn't hinder the experience of this place...just busier.

We were very pleasantly surprised! the campground is nice, and more private than many MI state park sites. Campers were great, we were very welcomed upon arrival. We are usually not the "private campground" campers, and this location was much better than expected. great job to the staff and crew!

Campground & bathrooms were clean. Lots were shady & nice size. Some issues though. We reserved ahead of time but upon arrival found it was a 20amp site. We were told the reservation process asked what amp we needed. I, nor the camper next to us saw this, so could not use air conditioner. E. Box also in very awkward spot. Cords couldn't reach so had to move RV to a less desirable place on the lot.

It’s a clean location with excellent staff, convenient to the main road. Plenty of activities available in the area! Main road was a bit noisy at night, but just Yoopers making a living.

The bathrooms are terrible!!! Lots of Mold, dirty. The whole campground is horrible. Needs to oil the roads, clean the sites, level the sites etc. !!! Never stayed at such a poor campground. Does Not meet KOA standards. The bathrooms could use a complete remodel! We felt sick upon leaving due to all the mold & dirty showers. Please clean up the whole place!! Will Never stay here again!!!

Site very uneven but nice size. Water and electric were on opposite sides. Fortunately we had lots of hose.

Loved it! The pool could have used a good cleaning, but it was still comfortable to swim in. Showers were clean and there was lots of hot water!

The location and site were great. The heated pool was a nice thing for the kids. It was also nice to have laundry on site. The sites and roads were all dusty and we left with everything having a layer of dust on it. There was also only water source for the whole campground despite water for individual sites being available farther back. The bathrooms and showers were not well maintained.

Campsites are not level, sites are cramped, sites should be level gravel or some sort of hard surface. A shuttle to town would be nice. Staff was very nice :)

I do wish I was able to pick my site, I was right behind the pool, playground, with all the children yelling and screaming when the pool was open. I would have preferred a site away from the children's area.

I loved the area and the campground. I like being in all the trees, however I was not thrilled about the set up being with a buddy when we didn’t travel with anyone else. That was awkward but worked out okay.

Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The camp sites were well-maintained as well, and I like the wooded options near the back away from the busy road. The garbage situation needs to be addressed. They were overflowing and hard to get to.

Super friendly people, clean facilities, nice proximity to Munising - LOTS of mosquitos and black flies The camp said they spray for mosquitos, but what I didn't like is as we were packing up, workers with masks and sprayers started spraying around out campsite with no warning. Please warn your visitors if you are going to be spraying chemicals.

It was a good stay that met all of our expectations. The employees were all very friendly. My only complaint is I wish there was a path to get to the pool and play area from the sites in the back of the campground. If all the sites are full you have to walk all the way around to the front of the campground and then back to the pool.

Nice park. Gravel/dirt roads and sites. We stayed in the back…very quiet, tucked into the trees, wide deep site. If you need satellite ask to stay in front, the entire park is heavily shaded. It would be nice if more FHU sites were available.

Not enough showers or Toilets for the number of sites. Got messy due to all the use/long waits at times. We had people cut thru our site to get to the pool. No pathways to get to the pool unless you go in near the office. I didn't like when people would sit/gather around with their dogs outside the pool right in front of our site. Floor around pool had band aids stuck there and was not cleaned up

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
