Great park, full tree canopy is great for hot summer days but we also have to use our Starlink satellite for our communication and that was a bit sketchy.. the park was really nice and we enjoyed the town as well, lots of things to do and we enjoyed exploring the area

They want your money but put nothing back into the campground. Unlevel sites and all need fresh rock brought in. They have teenage boys with earbuds in that just ride around on golf carts. Just drive thru the sites but don’t pick up trash left from camper before. 50 amp up front have branches hanging down and you park basically on grass and let’s hope it doesn’t rain. 2 newer campgrounds go

We had a site 17, this site was a mud hole after the rain. Most of the other site around us had a gravel base but most of the gravel in our site was gone. Wee were very disappointed.

It was nice and shady. The dog park was just a tiny fenced in patch of dirt. The restrooms and showers are closed for 2 hours in the middle of the day which seemed like a long time. They were pretty clean though. We stayed 4 nights and had a mini infestation of earwigs, probably due to all the leaves that aren't cleaned up. Sites are dirt so if it rains you'll have mud to deal with.

We enjoyed the campground. Very nice and clean. The grounds are very well kept. The people were very nice and informative. Overall a great place to stay.

Close to Picture Rocks and Munising. Friendly and helpful staff. Limited power for a bigger rig, and no wifi. Dog park out near road.

We enjoyed our stay in the shade of the trees as the temperature was very hot! Only downside was the strength of the wifi....was pretty much non-existent at our site.

The wooded lots provide a nice background and lots of shade and kept the camper cool without air conditioning. The facilities were clean and the laundry room is appreciated. Location worked well for local attractions. No complaints, everything was really nice.

My plans were not made in advance, we stayed 4 nights and had to move sites each day. The staff is very nice and accommodating, our moves were all easy. The trees really shade during the heat. Starlink not so good (trees). For those with long RVs the sites are very long and generous in general. Would love to come back here again. Even with rain drainage seemed good. Some mosquitos, not bad.

We booked a week trip saturday thru saturday months in advance and the campsite we were at #5 we were so close to the neighbors that we couldn't extend our awning at times, the neighbors slideouts were over our picnic table and fire pit. The Site was sooooo small, the sewer hose from neighbor was 3 feet from our camper door as well as the electric. Terrible set-up. Never coming here again.

The 5 FHU short term spaces are on the entry road with none stop traffic. Large grass area next to entrance was used by one family as ATV ride zone for two hours straight. 6 kids on 4 quads across from the office and no staff noticed. I booked online thru the app and recommend calling them to verify where your space is.

We spent 3 nights in a pull-thru FHU site. Great location to visit Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore! Bathhouse was clean, swimming pool not so much. Our granddaughter didn’t want to swim in it and she normally is a fish. Yes, I recommend it but don’t expect a premium campground.

The grounds were very nice. Office staff were very nice and helpful. We had a nice shaded spot for our trailer. Bathrooms were insufficient for the size of the campground and could use an update and more frequent cleaning than once per day.

We paid for our camping spot the first day they opened up online for the 2026 season. We requested to be in the very back of the campground and to be placed next to my father’s camper. They didn’t do that. They put us in the very front and a different camper in between us and we smelled there sewer the hole time because it was in our campsite. The camp host was very rude!

Sorry to hear. The sites you requested were not available, which is why the system didn't show them & you reserved the sites up front. We simply cannot move others who reserve that site type prior & do our absolute best with note accommodations. 2026 reservations opened 6 weeks prior to yours.

We loved the roomy shaded campsites! The WiFi was spotty! We enjoy watching our tv at night and the WiFi cutting out was very frustrating.

The location of the KOA is super convenient. We loved the set up of the campsite: beautifully shaded with maple trees and a nice amount of space between sites. Check in was easy. We do think, however, that the owners could invest a bit more in the bathroom /showers....sheetrocked walls, very small showers etc.. seem dated. At 9 am, paper towel dispenser empty and trash overflowing from night b4.

We needed a place to spend a couple of nights on our westbound travels. Pleasantly surprised with the sights and history was interesting. We did the boat tour of Pictured Rocks. The best way to experience the Rocks.

The manager lied straight to our face, the bathrooms were dark and dirty, our site was tiny and the fire pit was dangerously close to the road and our site was under water (flowing over our shoes) with only a little bit of rain. That is unacceptable for a KOA, and the price we paid to stay there was absolutely not worth it.

Nice sites and a good location. The pool is a nice addition but it could use some updates. The biggest issue is the bathrooms and shower facilities. They close down for two hours daily for cleaning we never found them clean. They were gross. The trash receptacles were overfilled and trash was rolling out. There is one dump station. Quiet hours after 11pm were not observed.

Lousy site in the grass in the front of the park. I realize we were not long-term, but paid and stayed for 2 nights. Did not expect our site to be unmanicured like others in the park. Mosquitoes were horrible. It was a place to sleep for the night after touring the Pictured Rocks. Office staff, however, was friendly and told us the best places to eat in Munising. We did enjoy a good dinner.

Great location for a base while you see the U.P. Beautiful campground, friendly staff. If we come back this way, definitely will stay here again. Site was very nice, level, easy access to the full hookups. We stayed 3 nights, neighbors were please and considerate.
