Really enjoyed this campground. Spacious sites and friendly staff. The weather didn't cooperate but otherwise, good time. Can't go to Munising without taking the Pictured Rocks boat tour.

The back lots were too close together for my liking, and have a shared pedestal for water and electricity which was strange. (You have to be careful which breaker you flip!) Very wooded which can be nice, but no chance of Starlink working, almost no cell service and generally weak campground wi-fi. It was also very rainy during our stay, so gravel, dirt, leaves and mosquitoes were in abundance.

The playground slide needs to be at least removed if not replaced. Water was actual warm, great job heating pool. Site was difficult to get into, because of trees and site posts, but we did it.

Very easy-to-use campground. We stayed in a full hookup pull through. was nice and flat with ample room to park truck and 22' camper. Enjoyed the pool and all the staff was super friendly and helpful. The only inconvenience we experienced was the bathrooms being closed at 12 to 2.

Last minute reservation. Erin was awesome at registration. Appreciated the office being open til 9 pm. Only negative was the scarcity of trash cans throughout the park. A microwave in the common area would’ve been nice

The cable never worked and I did not get the full hookup I requested 6 months prior to my arrival. On a positive note, the bathrooms were very clean. The location is good but every morning there was a beeping of heavy equipment well before we wanted to wake up. Then the train came through. I will stay somewhere else next time up.

Nice campground. It was full when we were there so the showers weren’t super clean-they were getting a lot of use. Our site want level but it was shaded and we didn’t feel like we were on top of anyone.

What a beautiful campground! The sites were plenty long, lots of shade trees and very quiet. We very much enjoyed out stay and if our travels bring us back to this part of Michigan we will definitely stay here again.

Booked a drive thru site many months in advance. We were put on the overflow lot right in front of the pavilion. It was a big lot, and we had hookups but no very private and felt like we were in the parking lot. Staff was amazing and super nice.

The bathrooms were not well attended to, lack of papers, sand and wet toilet paper on the floor. They really should’ve attended to twice daily in peak season.

I would say everything was great however I highly recommend an alternative to when the bathrooms are closed.... 2 hours is a very long time and too long to have the only bathroom on site closed... And then when asked if it can be used anyways you're told no... Little kids can't hold their bladders moms that have had kids can't hold their bladders and not everybody has a fancy RV..... Very nice campground. Very friendly, accommodating staff. My only issue were the showers. Yucky is the word that comes to mind. Need to be updated to shower maintenance friendly materials.

Very easy check-in and the RV spaces are in the woods and spacious. It’s only a couple of miles away from Munising and handy to the Park. Did not chck out the services since we were only there over night.

Bathrooms were clean, laundry area was clean, dog park was clean, office staff was very friendly, however, sites are entirely too tight. Our picnic table was right beside our neighbor's sewer which made for too many flies and made it very difficult to use. They could also use more restrooms. Otherwise, a good stay!

Decent stay. One complaint is the difficulty to get to the showerhouse/bathrooms/pool from the back rows. Since it is huge breach of campground etiquette to cut through someone else’s campsite, the only option is to walk all the way around the road to get there. Crazy inconvenient. Please consider adding walkways between sites to facilitate that.

Really need better WiFi or don't offer any. I couldn't even send a text, notified office yhey said because it was crowded. Ended up working two mornings in at coffee shop in Munising with excellent WiFi connection and speeds.

The KOA in Munising is one of our favorite campgrounds (along with the KOA in Covert/South Haven). Please continue offering a phenomenal camping experience with large lots and many amenities. In my mind, private camping far outweighs using the state parks that are crowded and do not offer the same experience as the KOA's.

This KOA is conveniently located for nearby attractions, so we liked that. The facilities could be maintained better. They need to hire a couple more people to help make that possible. It’s also obvious that the facility hasnt received any updates in a long time. We wish that KOA would have a policy against campers smoking weed at their sites. It doesn’t make for a family friendly environment.

Site #77, 20 amp electric site. Site was clean and shaded. Right next to playground and not far from the pool. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot with good water pressure. Would recommend that the owner redo the volleyball court, it would be nice if you could enclose the court with sand. Adding a pickleball court would be a nice touch too for the older campers.

Great location for many activities. Bathrooms full of spiders and hair, often running out of supplies. Need a sidewalk connecting the back road to the pool/rec area otherwise you walk through camp sites or all the way around on the road. Internet is weak unless you're at the store. Cable connection didn't work at all. Complained, they said it was the cable company who had to fix - never came.

Our spot was located directly behind the swimming pool which was full of happy, loud people…not a good location for two older people looking for a peaceful, quiet evening. Also, the shower stalls were quite dirty. They need to be cleaned more frequently. WiFi was okay.

Maybe it was just our site but we were very disappointed. It was extremely wet and we had an unusable firepit ring. It was all dented in and not a very appealing site.

The staff was nice. The stay was great except for men's bathroom needs more showers/stalls or extra bath house. Spouse had to leave the campground a few times to drive down to the gas station because the stalls were full and had to wait til 11pm to shower with no wait. Closing the only bathrooms from 12-2pm was a huge inconvenience, as well. The staff was accommodating.

Dirt pads, everything was overgrown, No Cell service and provided WIFI was virtually no usable. Our "Space" was on probably a 20 degree incline and it was impossible to get the RV Level (even with Leveling blocks). We were supposed to get a Sewer Hookup and there were none available. The first night we were there people were around the pool area screaming until midnight... All Bad!

Overall the stay was good but not exceptional. I didn't care for the dirt campsite. The bathrooms and showers were trashed at all times. One of the latches on the shower door was gone as well. This KOA was double the price of the state campground. For that amount of money I'd expect them to be cleaner.

Clean campground; friendly staff; reasonable prices for ice, etc.; good showers; surprisingly woody and shaded sites. While the location right alongside the highway is convenient, it is noisy. One bathroom is a bit of a challenge when the campground is full. Finally, the WiFi is strong enough only in and around the office (where there are tables available). If the Nat. Park’s full, stay here.

The setting, camp site, was very pleasing. I traveled with my daughter and grandsons. We had companion sites. The sites were very accommodating for us.

We really enjoyed our stay. The sites are large and wooded and the park is close to the activities we participated in. The staff is great! We reserved at a time when there wasn’t a full hookup site available. We asked to be added to the waitlist. We were so happy to find we had a full hookup site when we arrived!

We stayed in August with a class C RV. This is a very nice KOA, clean and shady. Definitely would go back. Just wish they had more full hook-ups but they did have a dump station.

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
