Nice campground. Pool was clean and well-maintained. Campground is dirt and gravel all around - no pavement once you get past the office. Most sites are shaded at least part of the day. I have solar so my shore power hookup was essential. Not very many full hookup sites though. Office is clean and staff highly helpful and responsive even on a very busy holiday weekend. Location is convenient.

Booked pull through full hookups only to find out it was a companion site. They moved us to a different site but the sewer hookup was 43 feet away from electric and water. We had to unhook truck to get the water and electric but couldn't reach sewer. As we were only staying 1 night we booked a pull through so we wouldn't have to disconnect truck. No compensation in cost of site was offered.

Only stayed 3 nights very nice campground. Sites were wooded, spacious, bathrooms were clean and staff was great. First time staying at a KOA, it was way more than we expected. Definitely not “field camping”.

Our campsite faced the front of the campsite next to us. There was no privacy at all. We couldn’t have a fire and relax in the evening because the fire rings were next to each other and we would have had to sit with and listen to the large group of people that was at the campsite/fire ring in front of us. Every time we opened our door to come out of the camper we had people staring and watching

Good bathrooms, clean facilities. Main problem was air quality due to many campers with smoldering fires all night and day, still weather kept the smoke concentrated in our front of campground area. Would be helpful if there was a staff member or camp host talk to people about proper campfire etiquette . We’ve never been to any other campground where this was issue.

Very nice customer service. Nice store. We were in site 3 and minimal road noise did not bother us. Site needs gravel as it rained and site turned into mud pit with water pooling. Bathrooms fairly clean. No garbage pickup at site provided. Convenient to town of Munising.

Wooded serviced sites are good . Stay was good, would return, recommend they invest in expanding the trail walk for dogs, cut some more brush. One sign says dog walk but it’s nothing, one trail goes 30 feet. The SAULT ST MARIE site has an excellent trail for example.

Restroom and showers are nice. Having a door really helps. However closing for 2 hours midday is a bit excessive. One hour for the men's and 1 for the women's would be better for campers.

This was our 2nd. Visit at this location. We love it here. Clean and quiet.

The campground was very nice, except that the pull-through sites were oriented to save the owners money when they installed the utilities--there is one utility pole for each two sites, resulting in every other RV facing their neighbors, with very little space between sites. When we arrived, there were about 8 people sitting around a campfire pretty much in our front yard.

A beautiful campground totally under tall shade trees. Sites are adequate and mostly level, but only a few have full hookups. This KOA needs serious updating. Otherwise we found it very nice and convenient for area attractions.

Could not choose my own site prior, upon arrival was only offered one site available took it and while there still a lot empty that were better, all dirt needs gravel desperately and lots if mud

Park is lovely, clean and quiet. Wifi needs some upgrading as well as the water. We had very little water pressure all weekend.

Reserved site 4 months in advance. Placed in site 1, right at the entrance about 50 yards from a 65 MPH highway. Asked for something different at check in was told nothing was available. The six or so sites at front of the campground are nothing but a money grab by the owners.

The campground and bathroom were clean and neat. One of the shower stalls didn't lock. The staff was courteous and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. People were very friendly in the park. Sadly we had one of dogs go missing, but everyone there was on the lookout and genuinely concerned about her return. Thank you for your support too.

Campground was clean, well kept, and staff were helpful and polite. My only suggestion would be some kind of drain in the floor of the furthest women's shower, as the floor was wet and grungy outside the shower.

Too many campfires, too close together, sites were to close, which is fine unless you get a loud crowd that goes well after 2am, which we did. 2 of the sinks in the women's rest room were clogged had standing water. Needs better ventilation in the rest rooms.

The bathrooms were always very tidy and the campground is upkept quite well overall, if a bit lacking in nature. We interacted with three employees while we were camping - two of the three were very nice and quite helpful, but a younger guy was very rude with us. We also didn't realize just what an island this campground is - you absolutely can't reach town without a car. Bikes are not safe!

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
