Very nice campground but quite a drive from tour boats and park trails , beaches and grocery stores.

Beautifully forested campground, nice size sites. Our cable TV connection was very poor and the WIFI too weak for streaming. Not sure why full hookups are limited to certain sites, but if one gets an electri/water site the dump station is convenient on the way out, but it can get busy. Be prepared to wait.

Our site was big but next to the road and very noisy. It was also next to the overflowing trash dumpster and very stinky. We could not enjoy being outside due to the smell. The park was beautiful with lots of campers. The bathrooms were NASTY! With so many people using one facility, it needs to be cleaned more than once per day. No water pressure at our site or in the showers.

We needed an overnight stop location for our travels that weekend. We picked the perfect place. The campers were all respectful of others and the staff was always smiling and wonderfully professional.

Great family campground. The swimming pool was a huge attraction for families. I would like to see more sites with full hookups. The trees held the campfire smoke and if you have breathing problems, request a site away from the trees.

Great area and location for exploring Munising, staff was helpful with suggestions for what to see and do. Only stayed one night but could have enjoyed a longer stay.

My low rating is based on the condition of the bathrooms. The showers looked so gross that I didn't shower during my stay. The camspsite was wonderful and the staff were super nice.

The campers face each other, very awkward to have a fire with your family with another couple 5 feet away having their own fire. BUT the workers at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind.

Too wooded for us. Not thrilled with it being all dirt... sites and roads (thankful it didn't rain). Shower house needs updated, and pool needs some work. We're used to KOAs that are better kept up.

We were lot 6, couldn’t hook up to sewer, no maintenance around till next day! Then the road traffic was very loud.

Maintenance was finishing up a job and heading to the site the same day. The office staff was told to cancel the call as you improvised to make it work. We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your overall stay.

It was ok, although the second site I was on had a bunch of trash on the ground (which I picked up and brought to the dumpster), and the wifi was quite weak on the camp outlying sites, but overall my experience was good. Bathrooms were large, laundry room was fantastic.

The best part of my stay was the customer service. Though I did not get his name, the man at the office was very helpful and professional. He was quite engaged and very personable. Though a huge infrastructure improvement, my only suggestion would be to upgrade the campground roads. The gravel roads produced a lot of dirt/dust. Except when it rained - then it produced a lot of mud.

Unlucky for me my site was near the pool. I do understand that it was a warm day, lucky for me it did close on time. Last time I stayed at the city park and it was a wonderful experience. I did not see any one patrolling the park. There is only one rest room shower at the front of the park.

Given a no electric site when paid for electric. Got in late(did notify via email), so no chance to change. No response to email requesting refund.

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us, however, you did have an electric site with 20 amperage. We are in the office daily and offer 24 hour phone service if needed. We didn't receive any emails and would have been happy to assist if we had known.

Erin is AMAZING! Clean pool, nice grounds, very shady! Only con is only 1 bathhouse, 3 showers. Bathhouse house could use some elbow grease in the showers, but the were fine, gotta remember lots of sights so lots of people taking showers. Would definitely stay here again.

Sites were not occupant friendly. Bowled and top soil, very little stone. Easy fix for owners. 4-6 T of stone for each pad would change this rating but after a heavy rain you would need to walk in inches of mud water to get in and out of camper.

This would have been a real nice campground if we had of been allowed in. We had a site outside the campground on the road--like a sale lot. When it rained we were sitting in a lake 3 inches deep. The website calls this the "front of the campground" but it isn't even inside. I see people who use these kind of spots and it doesn't seem to bother them, we just like a little peace and privacy.

Nice amenities and location close to all the hikes we wanted to do. There were lots of barking dogs and truck alarms that weren't great. The office folks were great but not much you can do when alarms are going at 6am!

Nice park with plenty of space between sites. Hook ups on a few sites are on the wrong side so be sure to have extension hoses and electrical cord. A good bass camp to see all the local sites. If you don’t have a toad, it is not walking distance to any Local attractions. When I visit again, I will pick a different park where I can walk to see some of the magnificent beauty in this area.

A good park, quiet, and clean. No sewer hookups and only 30 amp service. Good staff, they were very helpful.

The campsite was very nice, with shade and a pull-through. However, the bathroom in the main building could have had better lighting. A few of the soap dispensers didn't have soap to dispense, or weren't working. It was overall a good experience.

Super clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Only 1 thing that concerned me,leaves were all over a fire ember could start easily(we had a perfect day no wind).

They only had one bathroom for the entire park and the bathrooms were quite a distance away from the campsites in the back. The dog park area needs some attention. Many dogs have dug holes that have not been filled in and the majority of the dog park area is a dirt. The dog Waste bags never got refilled the entire time in the dog park. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at the park!

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
