Nice wooded sites provide privacy too. We used the laundry. 2 washers were good but 1 on the right had a mildew odor.

Staff is friendly, location is very convenient to Munising and Pictured Rocks. Park could use some updates and maintenance. Sites could use some leveling out with at least some gravel to alleviate mud and dirt. Site #6 is extremely close to #5, so close that their septic was at the edge of our awning. Not as big rig friendly as advertised. However, not many choices for campgrounds in area

Very friendly and helpful check-in staff. Site and campground were both very well maintained. Internet was above average and we loved all the ooded sites!

Great and helpful staff, a fantastic location, and great campsites. Late check in workout flawlessly thanks to the staff efforts. Only thing that needs improved is the showers. There are too few showers and the size of them is an issue (two of the three are very small). Also, for some reason a lot of dirt was being tracked into the shower stalls every morning, making the floor dirt/muddy.

Nice campground, great site (47) with fire pit and picnic table. Plenty of wood available to purchase. Bathrooms were clean and staff was very helpful. Only minutes from Munising and falls. The sunset cruise of pictured rocks is well worth the money.

While we were grateful to get a spot on short notice, the bathroom facilities were inadequate for the number of campers.

Needed a place for the night after a long day of impromptu exploring. Called them up and they literally had one spot left. Was so happy to get it! The staff were very kind and upbeat which is nice these days. Facilities were clean and it looked like families were really enjoying the pool and playground which is placed in the center of the campground behind the main building. Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly. We checked in at 3pm and the bathrooms were already dirty. There was toilet paper on the floor and the showers were moldy and sandy. Cleaning time was from 12pm-2pm so I don't believe they were cleaned that day. There were empty sites that had paper towels in the fire rings from the previous guests at check in time. The sites were way too close together and no privacy.

Sites were small & tight. Not level. Our utility pole was right next to our fire ring. Maintenance was unresponsive when we needed help (2 different problems). Not at all what we've come to expect from KOAs.

Clean. Staff helpful. Sites are tightly spaced - you can easily chat with your neighbors behind you from your respective picnic tables.

It all depends on the site that you've been, We were assigned to the small corner site near the pool. It was hard to fit the tent(12x16) and truck. It was noisy because of the pool just in front of you, no trees or shrubs. The site was muddy, sometimes because of overflown pool. Restrooms available only at one location and at the end(front) of the campsite.

This park needs some work. The first site was #3 and we asked to switch to another #7 this was better. #3 was so close to other campers it was crazy that they wanted us to park there. They need more space in between campsites. They try to put big campers in small sites. This campsite is also close to the road and the noise was very loud.

Everything was very positive except the sandy muddy site we were. Even being careful we had a mess inside the RV. Ratings would have been a 9 and 4 without this issue.

Lots to do in the area. Campsite was easy to access. Campground was very quiet and neighbors were friendly. Appreciated being able to use the little dog park.

Not a typical KOA. Disappointed. Lauren was wonderful. We had full hookup in site 21 but the electrical/water was quite a distance from the sewer causing some issues. The sewer backed up also causing a spill which was offending. Probably would stay some other campground next time.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Unfortunately the sewer back-up was out of our control and due to materials being flushed that shouldn't have been. The matter was taken care of promptly. We apologize again for the inconvenience.

If the weather would have cooperated it would have been a perfect trip. The sites are spacious and wooded. They even arranged for us and the friends we traveled with to have sites next to each with the ability to have our awnings facing each other. We're already planning our return trip for next year. Can't wait! Go eat at Bear Tracks while there. Really good food!!

Very shaded park among more trees than I’ve ever seen in a camp. Not much interaction with staff but were helpful when we needed them.

Had a great stay and staff was friendly. All the sites have lots of shade with beautiful trees. One complaint I have is that there is only one dump station in the whole park which allows only one person to dump at a time. We had to wait for 30-45 minutes on our date of departure to leave the KOA due to the long line to the dump station (on a Monday), which really put us behind schedule.

Sites are very small and ours was very muddy. I also wish you could choose your site. We were placed right by the pool and it was very noisy, which would be a great site if you had children, but, 2 adults on vacation usually like a little more of a quiet evening.

Was there for a couple nights while exploring the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Outside of the rain coming in and not stopping for 3 days it was fantastic. Bathrooms are clean, showers are good water pressure and hot. I would recommend his campsite to anyone staying in the area.

Had to share water and electric with your neighbor and the pull thru site in the woods we had to end up backing into cause of trees and electrical boxes. We had a 41 ft 5th wheel .

Bathrooms are subpar for the rate charged-urinals stink, floor dirty,trim/fixtures were very old. A general lack of attention to any detail at every part of the park. Old pool facilities, old playground equipment…just very dated for the price and expected KOA standards.

This is our 4th time staying at these campgrounds, friendly staff, clean grounds, clean bathrooms and showers, everything was great as always, highly recommended! We will be back again!

The full hook up sites are totally setup wrong. You are facing your neighbor and the lots are so narrow that it was extremely uncomfortable for everyone. We have a 30 foot trailer and had a 37 foot next us that we physical to hear them even turn on a light switch. Terrible setup.

My family and I came and stayed at the campground for a few days for vacation and it was a really nice place. The campsites were clean and quite. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this place.
