There were some good-looking sites here, but ours wasn't one of them. Right off the highway with no screening or vegetation. Wifi and cell signal was inconsistent at our site, but better if we moved closer to the office and pool. The location was pretty good, remote but central to city and park activities.

We enjoyed our stay, especially our large full hook up site. The kids enjoyed the pool, and said the bathrooms were pretty clean. The only thing that could be done better is to make sure that if posted that the bathroom cleaning is from 12-2, that it is completed by 2 (I had a kid still waiting for it to open at 3), and in-addition make sure that cars aren't parked behind the basketball hoop.

Wi-Fi was intermittent. Cable is advertised but our site had no cable. Staff was very nice and said they were sorry about no cable. Dog park was too muddy to use. Nice laundry room. Location is great.

Cable is available at certain sites not the entire campground. The site you had in overflow unfortunately doesn't include cable.

The campground is pretty. Lots of trees provide shade but there is very little privacy between sites. Our site was not very level but was long enough for trailer and truck. This KOA provides the bare minimum, very few sites (about a dozen) have full hook-up, about half have only water and electric, and the rest electric only. There are only three washers and three dryers a causing a long wait

Erin in office was outstanding and helpful But I did not know this was a koa , if I did I would never reserved a site, to much screaming from children but they were having fun as they should when I looked this up , they never stated this was a koa ,my kids are over 38 and our site was poolside , if you make reservations make sure to ask for way in way in back we did have good weather,

Wish the sites had gravel but we were very pleased in site 7 nestled away from the other rvs

Loved our little cabin that we rented. The kids enjoyed the play area and pool. Very close to town. Very friendly employees. Would definitely recommend.

Camp site was great! Campground was in good condition! Only complaint is something KOA can’t control, and that’s the courtesy of other campers to not let their kids ride their bicycles around at 10:30 pm screaming and yelling. Had a good stay!

The 3 sites we had were very cramped, dirty, and difficult to get our 35’ rigs in. Need to clear out about half of the trees!

The staff was very well informed, professional, and helpful. The resort itself was nice and clean. The only complaint that might keep me from coming back is the lack of reliable WIFI. The bad WIFI and poor cell coverage combined to hurt my productivity. I travel from art show to art show and need to keep my website up to date, and do consulting work as well. It is a vital part of my business.

Overall a great place to stay! Loved the wide shaded spots. Sites could use a little more gravel as it got very muddy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was nice, needs new playground equipment/updates but the surrounding area was so nice we weren’t upset by this.

Site #80 is in a high traffic area, both foot and vehicle. No way it should be used for tents. The bathrooms are rough but not terrible. The staff were nice. The pool is semi heated. This is one of the most active KOA campgrounds we have visited. The atmosphere was nice. Choose your site & enjoy the UP.

We enjoyed the convenience of this campground, Central to visiting Pictured Rocks and the Munising area. Took advantage of reasonable laundromat amenities and pool. Lots of loud kids but good time.

Park needs updating. Requested to be near family and ended up on opposite ends of the campground was extremely disappointing. Spots up in the front are very makeshift and added without much thought.

Unfortunately, the type of hook up that the guest made online and without a note to reference others was a different type of hook up that isn't offered near the other two reservations made. Thanks for taking the time to complete the survey.

This KOA has more of a campground feel than a resort with its spacious, wooded gravel sites. We could not connect to the wifi and cell service is spotty. This is such a lovely campground near to the town of Munising. It’s a shame that we felt like intruders, from the bored staff member at check in to the maintenance staff who couldn’t lift their heads to say good morning. ����

Beautiful grounds - wooded sites! Friendly staff! The bathrooms were not pleasant - wet and sandy. Lots of wet swimmers in and out of restrooms. After a long day of travel, we just wanted dinner and a shower - usually easy to come by at most KOAs. It felt like there not enough facilities for the number of campers -

thought I had reserved a site with power and water, apparently it only had power, and only 20 amp (can't run AC). Very noisy in early AM every day due to heavy equipment noise from nearby, and a trash truck coming to empty the dumpsters around 6:00 a.m. one day of our visit. Loved all the trees around the sites and the privacy. Playground could use some updating, pool was great!

Nice shaded sites but on the small side. Kids seemed to be having a great time in the pool and playground area. The shower areas were continuously wet probably due to the pool being used so much. Only three washers and dryers so made it somewhat difficult to do laundry.

Our first night there was hardly any water pressure. The next morning the same, but picked up to about normal the rest of our stay. Very spotty Wi-Fi. However the setting was nice and so was my interaction with the staff.

All sites are wooded. All outer sites are spacious, too. Campground employees are friendly and attentive. Campers respected rules. The pool was very clean. Having open areas in the middle makes for easy mingling with fellow campers. Great location to Munising (5-7 minutes drive). The nearby beaches and boat tour are quick, easy adventures away from camp.

Site not well set up. Water/electric over standard lengths far on 1 end with sewer far run on other end even when splitting difference. Picnic table and fire pit on sewer side. No room to put table on door side without too close to neighbor. Roads not well marked and narrow under dense tree cover making fire hazard. Told us to turn camper around to run connections underneath. This violates MI law.

Loved the trees and the location. Having a pool was a delight. Evenings tended to be noisy - next year we'll go for a site further away from the entrance! Thank you for such a fun few days.

wifi was bad, cell service bad - I do work/travel - thus find places to stay that have wifi, bathrooms pretty good, friendly service, sites were decent, had full hookup but couldn't use because toilet pump because drain was mounted to high - couldn't move trailer anywhere else, the whole site was lower - should have not paid for full hookup for that reason, could have saved money -site 40

Our site was awful. Not maintained at all. 2 inches worth of leaves covering our entire site. We have two toddlers. Luckily, we were only there one night. We stopped here for a night on our way to Big Bay. We stay at KOA's often. It wasn't up to KOA standards. Unfortunately, we will be finding a different campground to stay at next time we come up.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed here in late-July 2023. Back-in. Water and electric only 30 amp. Site #62 $53/night 3 nights stayed Site #62 THE GOOD Location: Close to town where you go to take any of the tours of Pictured Rocks. Also close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min). Sites: Backed up to woods with lots of space and felt really comfortable for a camping experience. THE BAD Site: All grass and not level. NOT GOOD OR BAD: Wifi: Did not connect to campground wifi. Cell service: Neither Verizon or AT&T were good. AT&T was just good enough to get some light work done. Facilities: Did not use laundry or showers to review.
