the Koa it self was beautiful , the owner very rude it is being run by kid they were very pleasant and polite , the camp sights we mostly permanent we were traveling with another couple that showed an hr. early check in was 3pm the sights were empty when i went to ask if they could check in the kids were explaining it was their policy not before 3 before they could finish the owner came in yellin

Not the easiest park to navigate lg motorhomes with tow. Also we were very surprised by the lack of attention given to appearance. Dead flowers in pots, grass uncut, and overall look dismal. A little attention to sites and general cmpgd upgrades would go a long way.

Great clean little park. Fantastic hosts that helped even after hours. Bathrooms and showers are clean, water pressure is good, and temperature is great. Lots are level and even though to my children’s disappoint they didn’t get to use it, the playground looked great. Really hope to stay again in the future.

We didn't receive a very warm reception from the hostess because we arrived at 2:00 instead of 3:00. The park isn't even half full but apparently it's a problem. They did escort us to our spot which we appreciated. Probably won't stay again.

Very nice, dog friendly. Beautiful lake and nice level camp spots with picnic tables and grass. Friendly owners.

We love it at the Onawa KOA! Everyone treats you like family and the kids have a great time at the playground, pool, or activities going on.

We love staying at Onawa blue lake. It's always relaxing & clean. We meet so many nice people during our time there. Staff is always friendly & always help when needed. This is our 7th year & can't wait until next season.

The staff are very professional and the campgrounds are always well kept. I would recommend that anyone who wants to have a fun and relaxing stay to do it at the Blue Lake KOA. THANK YOU!!

Clean, Quiet, friendly campground. Lake adjacent to the campground so fishing, kayaking and any other water activities are convenient. A lot of camp spots have cement pads. Some spots have BBQ grills. Store has plenty of supplies if you find yourself out of anything. Pool was clean as well as the rest rooms. Laundry facilities were clean as well. Great place to stay!

Arrived at 1:30 and was charged a $5 fee for getting there before 3 pm, though the park was relatively empty. Buggy and damp.

I'm sorry to say that this was our least enjoyable stay this trip. While the rest rooms were nice, the water was "brown" and had an unpleasant odor. The pet K9 area had gaps in the lower fencing that would have allowed our small dog to get out. And then the Internet just wasn't robust enough for multiple users; just kept dropping out while we were in the middle of something.

We only stayed one night in our travels as did several other campers. The hosts were pleasant and we were escorted to our pull through gravel site which had plenty of room for our fifth wheel and disconnected truck. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very unique KOA Holidey it's a little more rustic with a lake camp kind of feel which is not a bad thing as far as I am concerned. The restrooms were standard KOA which is to be expected however they were impeccably clean. The children's play area is very nice and looks fairly new. The entire camp is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The provided Internet was very good and we had zero site issues. The mature shade trees are beautiful and functional. So here is my take and keep in mind only an opinion. This is a great place for a peaceful break with your family, friends and kids but there is some manuvering between the trees so probably not great for just an overnight. A little more gravel on the pads and power washing and painting the picnic tables would be nice.

Great overnight stay even with thunderstorms!! We checked in after hours but all info was left for us on the bulletin board. Pads were level, spot was quiet.
