Ex excellent stay I really enjoy the campground how clean it was the beautiful view of the lake. We had a really great spot and the folks in the office were very very nice and helpful.

Definitely NOT big rig friendly. Had to maneuver around trees to keep from scratching top of motorhome PLUS avoid large trees pulling into space. Almost couldn’t open a slide because of a tree. Water hydrants leaked leaving puddles that electric cord had to lay in. Very tight turns. Maybe okay for small units or pull-behinds, but not for 45’ motorhome towing. Staff not very friendly or helpful

The utility hookups were in the middle of the lot. This caused me to pull my 35’ trailer forward as far as it would go to book up my power. A bit longer rig with power connection at the end would need a power extension cord.

Setting was beautiful. Staff were super nice. Clean restrooms and pool. No prepared food options. Broken handle on water spigot at site. Large pile of bird poo (3 inches deep) on stairs outside rear door to office (unappealing). Two rough looking adult males (guests?) took a female into the men's shower with them. Management notified; very concerned about it and agreed to address.

Nice campground and pull through spots. Blue Lake makes for a scenic backdrop as well as the local farm fields of corn. The Keelboat replica across in the adjoining state park was interesting to see. Camp is clean and staff are helpful!

Great Shady Park with lots of great Guests. We had a great time. It was, however, the first time in 12 years I've actually been charged for arriving early. I will read my confirmation emails more closely from now on.

Overall we found the campground very nice. My issue was that the women’s restroom was dark. There wasn’t an outside light and the inside light didn’t come on until you stepped into the dark room.

The roads are in desperate need of new gravel in the low spots. It had rained and the holes were full of water and mud. Other than that issue it was a nice campground.

Very nice campground except for the large prominent “Let’s Go Brandon” flag that was waving as we pulled our camper into its spot. I believe this was a campground flag and not a personal flag of a camper. Either way, this flag should not be displayed in a family campground such as KOA. Politics should not be part of a campground and this flag is in very poor taste.

Nice smaller KOA. Clean. Pleasant staff. Nice pool. Clean bathhouse. Pretty lake can be seen from many campsites. Do have a lot of seasonal campers as many appear permanent. Great place for overnighting. Not far from highway.

unfortunately there are a majority of spots occupied by long term rentals which leaves travelers passing that way for a few days not much of a choice. overflow parking allowed on the dog walk was also a turn off.

Good small campground. We were a late arrival but one employee stuck around waiting for us. Easy to get in and out for a quick stop-over stay. Beautiful lake and amenities. Hope to stay longer next time!

Had a very enjoyable stay. Check in was easy and had very friendly staff to help us get settled. Facility was very well maintained and clean.

This KOA has clean facilities, nice playground, and decent sized campsites. One of the evenings they had an activity for the kids, which was fun. Unfortunately, we will not return to this KOA due to the negative management and the feeling of being unwelcome.

Stayed 3nights. They had plenty of trees for shade. Right on the banks of Blue Lake. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. About a hour from Omaha.

Updated, clean bathrooms but has poor water pressure. Temperature in shower room was too cold for comfort. Quiet evenings away from freeway noise. Beautiful setting with mature trees and large useable lake. Interior roads need grading. Too many flooded areas. Some staff appeared to be unhappy with no friendly greeting. Would benefit by having on site ownership.

Great location . Pretty KOA , on a lake. Lots of grass for my little dog to walk on . If we ever head south on the I 29 from ND, we will be back !

It seems nickel and dime to charge me $10 for checking in before 3:00. Most KOA’s have a 2:00 check in and I’ve never been charged for being early. I seriously doubt I used $10 worth of electricity in an hour ( by the time I got parked and actually turned off the generator, it was 2:00). It just set a sour tone for the whole stay.

This place does not live up to KOA standards. The young man that was at the desk when we checked in needs to be transferred to yard maintenance. He definitely does not need to be greeting customers. I’m a long time KOA customer, but I definitely will not stop here again!!!!

The Onawa family was great! You get an escort to your camp site with lots of shade trees around. Nice and quiet good neighbors next to us. We did get a lot of rain and high winds the following morning but the sheriff's department made sure we were all safe. Thank you Onawa!!!!

Staff was awesome very helpful. I parked the way the staff had instructed me to, but some old guy a full time resident not sure if he worked there or was just a self appointed parking lot monitor came by and chewed me out for the way I parked. I didn’t want to cause issues for the staff.there was a time it would have been a shorter conversation but have become patient with mentally challenged

Good check in process. Campsites very muddy and close together. It was hard to keep keep mud out of the RV. Gravel needed! Lots of long term units. Not much to do. Beautiful lake. Great restrooms! Okay for overnight.

This is a very unique KOA Holidey it's a little more rustic with a lake camp kind of feel which is not a bad thing as far as I am concerned. The restrooms were standard KOA which is to be expected however they were impeccably clean. The children's play area is very nice and looks fairly new. The entire camp is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The provided Internet was very good and we had zero site issues. The mature shade trees are beautiful and functional. So here is my take and keep in mind only an opinion. This is a great place for a peaceful break with your family, friends and kids but there is some manuvering between the trees so probably not great for just an overnight. A little more gravel on the pads and power washing and painting the picnic tables would be nice.

Great overnight stay even with thunderstorms!! We checked in after hours but all info was left for us on the bulletin board. Pads were level, spot was quiet.
