This place got bad reviews on RVParky but we have no issues. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were well kept and level. Bathrooms were clean. There were potholes recently filled with gravel which would have bad if not filled. Sites and roads could use more gravel. It did not rain while we were there but it would probably be a little muddy if it did.

Low water pressure at showers. Otherwise a great place. Easy to get to, quiet and relaxing even being near to highway. Would come again when in area.

We love camping at Onawa KOA everyone is always friendly and helpful. If we ever need anything there is always someone around to help us. Other campers are friendly and enjoy visiting

The staff and owners were fantastic. Very professional. Grounds are well kept an always clean. I will continue to stay here we had a fund time. Would recommend it to everyone. Thanks to Angela and Kelly.

Very disappointed! Wanted to use some of our points at check in. No one there. No one there in the morning either. Waited until 11:30. No hours posted on the door. Never saw anyone in office or campground. Sites were muddy and could have used some gravel. Would not recommend.

Super clean campground! Proprietors of the campground friendly and accommodating. Camp store fully stocked with amenities. Swimming Pool, fishing, kayaking, playground, dog walk, basketball court all included at the campground. Fully shaded spots with most spots having a cement patio and grill. Great place to stay and located just a couple miles off the interstate.

The campground is treed and shady which is nice. The grounds need some maintenance though. The picnic tables need sanded and painted and the road needs gravel. Staff was friendly.

Plenty of open spots and they put us next to a seasonal camper. Spots were so small, had absolutely no space outside to enjoy the place. Literally ate our food in their driveway.

Not big rig friendly. Narrow roads and sites. Management would rather have you hit a pole than to drive on grass in tight turn areas. Won’t stay again since we are in a big rig.

The young staff were friendly. The bathrooms were fairly clean. The campsites need some TLC (dead branches, litter from previous campers, etc). Wifi was almost unusable (dropped every 10-39 second nds).

We only stayed for one night. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The lot was clean and well situated. The views were wonderful.

All the camp personnel were very helpful and considerate. We were very comfortable and the view across Blue Lake was very calming.

We arrived 43 minutes early for check in and was informed there was a $5 fee per hour for early check in which was at 3pm. We waited and checked in at 3pm. the campground flyer stated if you arrive more than an hour early you pay $5 an hour. Seems the employees need to be trained to know the policies as we arrived less than an hour before check in. There is also a lot of seasonal campers there

The staff was very young. Pleasant enough, but didn't seem to understand how to accommodate our requests. Showers had no pressure and not very hot water. Bathroom outside doors were very dark. You must have a code to get in to the restroom, but there is no light to see the keypad at night. Nice grounds, easy enough to get on and off interstate without being right on the interstate like many KOA

Sites where we stayed were really close. Our neighbor couldn't put his awning all the way out. Also our sewer was at his back door as our neighbor's was at ours.

I always thought KOA had high standards they had to adhere to. This Campground was a disgrace. Let us push a few more spaces in. No room, we almost sat under the neighbour's slides. Bathroom horrible, no water pressure. I could hardly rinse my shirt hair out. I was appaled that they could be recognized as KOA.

The roads needed more gravel. There were large puddles and a lot of mud. The water supply line contained orange, rusty looking residue. The sign said it was a KOA Holiday. With the poor conditions and sparce amenities I would not call it that. This is the first bad review I have ever given a KOA. I will say that the two young people who checked us in were very friendly and did their job well.

The staff was very rude as we were checking in almost like we were an inconvenience to them. We booked serval months ahead and ask to be together (4 couples traveling) we were not together and was told could not fit although one of us had 3 sites open next to them when we left next day. We did not have KOA membership when we booked and would not apply our discount since it was purchased after.

Beautiful, clean campground and facilities. Our sight was right on the lake, gorgeous sunset. The pool was clean and refreshing. The deck and chairs around the pool could use a pressure wall, as their was quite a bit of bird droppings. Hosts were cheerful and helpful and made us feel right at home.

Third stay here and has always been great. Check in was a breeze. Young adults at check in had all the right answers and were very helpful. The pool is well kept. We were able to purchase propane. We didn't have kids with us but noticed how nice the playground area was. Laundry was clean and worked fine. Nice fire pits. Easy access off the interstate. Close to carwash and 2 gas stations. Look forward to staying here again as we drive back to Canada after snowbirding in Florida.

Beautiful park, location. Updated bathrooms. Level sites, nice fire pit. The family staff was articulate and thorough. Truly a pleasure to deal with. I wish them the best.
