It was our 1st time at this KOA, and we had a great time! So much for the kids to do, and we LOVED seeing how pet friendly it was! We got to see and meet a lot of "good boys & girls" (dogs) and met some great people as well. We got some fishing in, kids got their pool time swimming, and the Wife & I got some good down time by the campfire! We are 100% going to come back some time!

Very clean and well maintained. All staff were friendly. The lake is beautiful and all the trees make for great shade.

It is obvious this is a weekend place with a large population of campers that leave there rigs on-site. A bit of highway noise. Well kept up, friendly staff. Good places to walk your pets on the boundary of campground.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and guided to our site. Beautiful grounds and very well kept. If back in the area we would stay again.

Everything about this Park is GREAT, the was staff welcoming, area and site was clean, spacious, and beautiful. Dog walk is the cleanest, my two dogs would actually go in it. I highly recommend this Park.

The Onawa KOA was wonderful! They worked us in last minute when the reservations we had at Lewis and Clark fell through due to a malfunctioning well. We felt welcomed by staff, who were so friendly and understanding! Thanks Onawa KOA! We enjoyed a wonderful and peaceful weekend which was perfect for our small camping reunion.

Quiet well kept park. Spaces are pretty crammed in but still enough room at each site. Nice access to the lake.

Beautiful location amongst the farmland and lake. Good access from Rt 29 for those just passing through, as we were. Well run and maintained. Would stay again.

The camp owners are always so friendly and helpful. They keep the facility clean and it is obvious they are invested in their guest experience.

Tornado warnings, no one came around to warn us or tell us were to go. Very high winds and strong lightning. Power out for a time.

Need gravel/rock on sites! Big puddles everywhere (except permanet sites which was quite a lot). The price you pay, shouldn't have to be stepping out into mud or even to set up or tear down in the mud.

Charged full price when no KOA amenities were open and working. This is unethical and I won’t pay the high price for a gravel parking place and electric power.

Very disappointed for KOA holiday campground. Needs some major improvements to sites. Very muddy. We paid for a nice campsite but sewer was so far back we didn’t connect. Playground was fixed up nice but we don’t have any kids. Their patio campsites were not anything to brag about either. At best was a KOA journey.

The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The place is very clean and the surroundings are so pretty. I surely going to recommend the site.

Staff was great. Spaces were cramped too close. Couldn’t hook up or dump without being interfering with next door. Roads in and out are very narrow.

They were closing down for the season in a few weeks, so there wasn't anyone in the office. If you needed ice or supplies, you had to go out for it. We were only staying a few days so we didn't want to disconnect our tow vehicle.

Third stay here and has always been great. Check in was a breeze. Young adults at check in had all the right answers and were very helpful. The pool is well kept. We were able to purchase propane. We didn't have kids with us but noticed how nice the playground area was. Laundry was clean and worked fine. Nice fire pits. Easy access off the interstate. Close to carwash and 2 gas stations. Look forward to staying here again as we drive back to Canada after snowbirding in Florida.

Beautiful park, location. Updated bathrooms. Level sites, nice fire pit. The family staff was articulate and thorough. Truly a pleasure to deal with. I wish them the best.
