You talk of your patios in each parking space. We looked around and most spaces had patios that could be enjoyed by stepping down from their RV. Ours were 6 ft away and the camper could not be closer.. We could not use picnic table it was a liability. The park in general was nice but had a few simple things that could be done to upgrade. We appreciate the nice people there. Thank you

Great location and friendly staff. All the facilities were tidy and in good working order. Great to have a swim after a hot day.

It was a great stay... But was charged extra when I came there too check into the cabins..... Why do you get charged extra for the cabins upon arrival......

The hosts don't control the weather but do know your grounds and put us in the worst site knowing rain was coming. We paid $60 to park in a mud puddle overnight (better sites were open) and swim in the pool for 2 minutes. The addl fees for kids (for what?), the b/r code (odd but maybe needed), the unwelcoming signage about hosing off shoes, EV charging fine, visitor fees, was all very off-putting.

If you had issues with your site, you should have asked while on site to be moved.

Great park, would return. One complaint, people next to us had a campfire and being close in spacing, the temp was over 80 and they had a campfire and the smoke was coming in to our rv through the ac vent. Just thought it was a little disrespectful. Other than that, loved this place

Our site needed rock and there was no grass. The rain made it a mud hole. The pool was too cold to use, it needs a heater. They were rather cranky during activities and there was no official list of activities.

It was just an overnight stop but it was dry quiet since most of the units did not have anyone there yet for the holiday. Lovely place. Stopping back there on the way home

Owner was rude, left a google review hoping something would change about her attitude, she never apologized for her behavior. 10/10 would NOT recommend!!

We had a great time at the park. The Fourth of July festivities were amazing! The foam bubble machine and DJ were the best.

people who ran koa were amazing! lots of black small beetles all over at night , but beautiful campsites and buildings were clean. showers had low pressure took along time to shower. loved it and would stay again!

It was a stop over on our way home from Custer SD stayed two nights it was quiet the roads were a little dusty but over all it was nice

Everything clean, everyone friendly! Will stay there again! Has there ever been consideration to not allowing political flags or signs? It would let the campgounds feel more inviting to all who stay there.

The property is well maintained. The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and had air conditioning. The picnic table could have used a good power washing, but that's what happens from being in the elements. We should have brought a tablecloth. Everything was great, but I would suggest a lightbulb above the cabin door for safety. There was a TV but no cable, bring DVDs!

I got a site with 3 foot of grass between me and my neighbor. Fine for people just looking for a place to spend the night but we were having a weekend of camping for recreation. They don't give an option to pick your site. So it was$122 for that parking spot and we could have just stayed in our driveway

Very quiet campground located on Blue Lake off of the interstate. It seemed like half of the RV spots were permanent residents or storage spots and not visitors. Bath houses were very clean but very low water pressure in the showers. The only other thing of note that there is 24 hour laundry but no change machine - and the front office does not open until 9AM. Be sure to read the rules.

Campground was clean and welcoming. Laundry room good and also clean. Some of the guests not at all courteous to other campers - playing music very loud, and one group staying up until 2.15am laughing and cackling with friends. Appeared to be long term seasonal guests. A suggestion to make all guests feel welcome would be to ban all political signage and flags from open display.

As a premium KOA member. I was somewhat disappointed that I got charged $10 for checking in at 1pm. I limit my drive times due to being disabled and always try to check into campgrounds between 12:30 and 1:30 for my own safety.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As a reminder the value card that you are a member of is a discount card that you pay an annual fee for. Camping is renting time at a facility when you arrive early our prices our adjusted accordingly.

Third stay here and has always been great. Check in was a breeze. Young adults at check in had all the right answers and were very helpful. The pool is well kept. We were able to purchase propane. We didn't have kids with us but noticed how nice the playground area was. Laundry was clean and worked fine. Nice fire pits. Easy access off the interstate. Close to carwash and 2 gas stations. Look forward to staying here again as we drive back to Canada after snowbirding in Florida.

Beautiful park, location. Updated bathrooms. Level sites, nice fire pit. The family staff was articulate and thorough. Truly a pleasure to deal with. I wish them the best.
