Updated, clean bathrooms but has poor water pressure. Temperature in shower room was too cold for comfort. Quiet evenings away from freeway noise. Beautiful setting with mature trees and large useable lake. Interior roads need grading. Too many flooded areas. Some staff appeared to be unhappy with no friendly greeting. Would benefit by having on site ownership.

Great location . Pretty KOA , on a lake. Lots of grass for my little dog to walk on . If we ever head south on the I 29 from ND, we will be back !

It seems nickel and dime to charge me $10 for checking in before 3:00. Most KOA’s have a 2:00 check in and I’ve never been charged for being early. I seriously doubt I used $10 worth of electricity in an hour ( by the time I got parked and actually turned off the generator, it was 2:00). It just set a sour tone for the whole stay.

This place does not live up to KOA standards. The young man that was at the desk when we checked in needs to be transferred to yard maintenance. He definitely does not need to be greeting customers. I’m a long time KOA customer, but I definitely will not stop here again!!!!

The Onawa family was great! You get an escort to your camp site with lots of shade trees around. Nice and quiet good neighbors next to us. We did get a lot of rain and high winds the following morning but the sheriff's department made sure we were all safe. Thank you Onawa!!!!

Staff was awesome very helpful. I parked the way the staff had instructed me to, but some old guy a full time resident not sure if he worked there or was just a self appointed parking lot monitor came by and chewed me out for the way I parked. I didn’t want to cause issues for the staff.there was a time it would have been a shorter conversation but have become patient with mentally challenged

Nice peaceful campground. Roads are a little narrow, but sites are decent size. Beautiful area. Half hour from Sioux City.

Good check in process. Campsites very muddy and close together. It was hard to keep keep mud out of the RV. Gravel needed! Lots of long term units. Not much to do. Beautiful lake. Great restrooms! Okay for overnight.

A beautiful setting for a KOA. Stayed in a Kabin. Kabin was clean and met my needs for my stay. I had one issue that I feel should be addressed. The shower water pressure was very low and the hot water was luke warm at best. This made my 5:00 AM shower chilly. All other areas of this KOA are good.

Front desk was kind and greeted us with a smile. Camp hosts were helpful. Place was clean. Big shady trees. Wasn’t packed full. Nice neighbors. Big storm blew through and knocked down the branches. Staff was super helpful and kind checking in about it. Great find!!!!

It had been raining and some of the sites were muddy so when we checked in they had upgraded us to a site that was not muddy…office was very accommodating and worked with us to get into site…campgrounds were very well kept despite all the rain�

Great walking trails from the campground and really nice showers; would have rated them 10 except for the messy dog poo at the site when we arrived.

Nice facility, but not the greatest KOA. Looks to be a lot of long-term rentals, permanent residences. Sites were pretty full but not a lot of people. I would expect political affiliation flags/signs would be discouraged from a temporary vacation destination.

It was a beautiful, well kept campground. Staff were very polite and helpful. We are used to parking our rig ourselves but the young man directed us into our spot expertly! We were just passing through and enjoyed our lakeside spot. We would definitely stay again!!

We arrived one & a half hour early & when we went to CK in there were 3 your boys behind the counter, 2 were probably in their early teens & the third I don’t think he was in his teens. CK in is at 3pm so we expected to pay an early CK in fee which we were OK with & the one teenager said there would be an early CK in fee & the non teenager very sarcastically said no, she said nobody CKs in until

My husband fishes so I try to find places to stay that will have that available. I know it is not the KOA's fault but, the water is very low, the state needs to maintain that asset better. The KOA was clean and very nice the people were great. Thank you

I only had a couple issues with the place. Otherwise it was a nice place with a great view. The first is that I registered 6 people and there was nothing in the rules about the number of tents. Just about not doing mats. Our friends had to pay for a full site away from us when they shouldn’t have. Next was the lights stayed on all night and it was right over our site. We struggled to stay asleep

Family loved it. The campsites were clean, there were plenty of things to do for the kids, dog,pet friendly. The Campstore was neat & clean, the owners were friendly and very helpful. We will be staying there again....making it our destination.

This is a great park. Wide and long sites. Showers were clean and roomy. Very nice pool. We only stayed two nights, but would be a great place for a longer stay.

Very well kept older park with very warm staff. Nice for a quiet night’s stop. Easy access! A little proud of the grass they don’t have, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay again!

upon arriving they assign us the worst camp side - muddy and uneven - despite they have many good locations; they claim all where assign/reserved, but next day half of them where empty!! very disappointing!!!

Third stay here and has always been great. Check in was a breeze. Young adults at check in had all the right answers and were very helpful. The pool is well kept. We were able to purchase propane. We didn't have kids with us but noticed how nice the playground area was. Laundry was clean and worked fine. Nice fire pits. Easy access off the interstate. Close to carwash and 2 gas stations. Look forward to staying here again as we drive back to Canada after snowbirding in Florida.

Beautiful park, location. Updated bathrooms. Level sites, nice fire pit. The family staff was articulate and thorough. Truly a pleasure to deal with. I wish them the best.
