Site was not level had to raise one side about and inch, was unable to hook to sewer as the cap was buried. Price was good and they did work with me to change arrival date due to mechanical issues with RV. Will stay there again.

Staff was outstanding from initial booking of our reservation through being compassionate and helpful with the potential dangerous weather that was in the area. The campground is in a beautiful setting and well cared for. Due to all the rain we were not able to enjoy any of the features, but, a great overnight stay.

nice park. level sites. We stayed when there was very severe weather happening all to the east a short distance away. being low below the highway level was a little more comforting. Plus we went to the brick office area and gathered in the men's bathroom, ( which was very clean! ) when the sirens went off. Bring a fan or fan sounds to cover up the loud highway sounds.

Each year we travel from CO to WI. And we include this KOA in our routing. We’ll even drive a little extra or a little less to stay here. This is in our top 3 KOAs. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The park is already great and we notice the improvements they make each year. Even the small ones like adding large trash cans around the park instead of two centralized dumpsters. Thanks

Only concern was our first shower at the bathrooms, there was no hot water but it was corrected for the next day. Very beautiful park. Staff were very friendly. Sites were pretty level.

Park was impressive, but could have used more garbage cans. Highway noise was pretty impressive, also. But, there is nothing you can do about it.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. stay started off great! The flowers and landscape are beautiful in the summer——well maintained and clean. As soon as fall/winter hit and there are no more events at the Alta house, the property is not as well maintained. Restrooms were filthy and cleaned only every few weeks. Washers/dryers were constantly out of order. Have stayed in much nicer KOAs for a lot less. Overcharged for electricit

great campground alot of friendly people they always there too help you with anything i am so glad the pool was open i want put special thanks out to jeff tonya sam and special thanks to moses he was there always there too help did little fishing there always great place to take grandkids to catch and realease fish kids love it the pool was a big hit too and the game room was nice for grandkids

the camp ground was to close to the interstate road and the noise was too loud. We stayed here before and it was ok but last time the wind was probably blowing the noise our way and it affected our sleep.

Nice site with fire pit and chairs, close to I-80 and the office was open until 7:00 which meant I got to meet the person on duty in late October. She was very helpful on a very cold evening!

Staff were friend and helpful. The highway noise was noticeable, but the convenience in our travels with an easy on/off was entirely understandable. Would definitely stay again when coming through the area.

This is a lovely campground and very convenient/close to the Interstate, which means that there is some road noise. We felt it wasn’t an issue because of the beautiful tucked-in nature of the sites.

I had an assignment at the nearby hospital, so I stayed at the KOA. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and convenient to work with. A plus was not having to leave to refill your propane tanks as they offer that service at this location. Response time was almost immediate as well.

Pros: Big rig friendly (40 foot 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups Easy on and off interstate Very friendly staff Very nice playground area Very nice frisbee golf course Close to Walmart Bathrooms were clean Cons: -showers were lukewarm -sites were pretty tight Good for an overnight and would stay again
