From I-40: Take Exit 432 to 25W-70, then 1 mile to KOA on right.
From I-81: Take Exit 8 to 25E south for 12 miles, then right on 25W-70 to KOA 1/3 mile on left.
Camping is always better when your dog gets to come along! We love welcoming furry travelers to the Newport KOA. To ensure a safe, fun trip for your pup and your fellow campers, keep these quick tips in mind:
Pets must be supervised and kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times when exploring the campground.
Please help us keep our shady campground clean by picking up after your pet and disposing of waste in our designated trash bins.
Remember that dogs are only allowed on two specific trails within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (The Gatlinburg Trail and the Oconaluftee River Trail). Luckily, the nearby is much more pet-friendly!
