Nice facility, like to see better small gravel in spots, lots of sand. Very friendly staff, helpful, would stay again

We agree! That last bunch of storms, which filled up our pond, hit a few or our sites pretty hard! We've fixed them.

What a lovely campgrounds. The facilities are very clean. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. They share the upcoming events at the campgrounds and about the vegetation. We throughly enjoyed out visit.

We enjoyed it stay at KOA Newberry. It was just one night as we were traveling through but we felt very welcomed by the friendly staff. The pull through site allowed us to keep our rig hooked up overnight. The store is well stocked with camp supplies and souvenirs. The pool looked nice but we did not swim. We will definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at this campground multiple times. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. The grounds are immaculate and the WiFi is excellent. We also give them high marks for communication with texts to keep you informed. There is a nice dog park and gnome scavenger hunt for fun. We highly recommend this KOA.

I would like to thank the staff and owners for a wonderful visit. Communication was excellent both prior to, and during, my visit. I was a late arrival and they ensured I had great details to arrive safely. During my stay I spoke with several staff members and owners. What a terrific crew! I was excited to learn about the upcoming expansion and I look forward to visiting again!

We came in very late from a long trip. The staff couldn’t have been nicer!! They gave us directions to get our large rig into our site without trouble. Thank you so much! Our dogs love all the gnomes and so do we!! Thank you Mama Mea for your help as well! Hope to see you again!!

This campground is above a 5 star. The staff is absolutely the best and the atmosphere is so tranquil and peaceful. It is very easy to get around for the handicap and very well taken care of. The pool is fantastic and the pizza is our favorite. The maintenance of this campground is outstanding. Great job to the staff.

WOW! This KOA is a hidden GEM. I almost don't want to spill the beans about how lovely it is because I want to make sure it's always available when I visit relatives or am passing though! This KOA is very convenient to I-26, yet you have no highway noise to speak of. Plus, the staff is SUPER FRIENDLY. The small touches throughout the campground don't go unnoticed. We will definitely be back!

2nd time in 4 month span of each other and absolutely love this KOA! Husband was working a week job nearby, so me and the kiddos had a blast looking for Gnomes and adventuring the area. Pool Play time was the best!! Couldn’t say enough about how great this location is!!�ϋ��ϋ��ϋ�

Pete and I are new to RV camping and KOA experiences, however, well impressed with our visit at the Newberry, SC location. For us, it was a very pleasant visit. The restrooms (both ladies and men) were extremely clean, modernized, and excellent water pressure during showering. The salt water pool felt amazing and was extremely relaxing; most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. ♥��

We have never stayed at a camping park where the staff even cleaned the utility posts! Cleanest park and adorably whimsical and fun with their gnomes and gardens! A must to stay!

This was an overnight stay as we were splitting our trip home. Super friendly staff, property was clean and well groomed. Exception customer service. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend to friends.

Stayed here before so there’s a reason why we stayed again. Very clean. Staff is amazing. The owners and staff are out cleaning the site right after someone leaves. They also organize numerous fun activities for all, young and old.

We have stayed at this KOA many times & loved it! This past weekend stay was not so great. We made reservations 3 wks ago, I called & requested a site change. Received a text & email that my site was changed to 42, which was great. Upon arrival, I was informed my site had been changed to 24 and "to not change it" was in the computer. Do NOT accept #24 in the SC summers. FULL BLAZING SUN!

This KOA is extremely clean with great sites. Even the non-shaded still provided some shade. Staff were wonderful and they had great activities for kids and adults. Highly recommend!

The staff here are so friendly and helpful. They even took the time to get our pets names and include them in the welcome. Our welcome text message gave us the nearest RV friendly gas stations off the interstate. No one has ever provided that. We absolutely would stay here again!

Camp was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the gnomes and game. Nice library. The only thing we didnt like was hearing automatic machine gun firing. It was unsettling.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We agree that hearing gun fire is unsettling; unfortunately, there's nothing that we can do about our neighbors. In South Carolina, the Right to Bear (and shoot) Arms is as normal as banana pudding, sweet tea, and fried pickles. Luckily, gun use here is taken seriously and safely, even if it's loud.

Stayed at several RV campgrounds this is the best campground we have stayed in. I would not change a thing. Salt water pool very clean well kept. Grounds were maintained . Pizza and wings were great. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff treated us like family. Loved the Gnome theme. We didn't find a reason to leave the campground and explore the surrounding area. We had everything we needed here.

This camp ground is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. We left something and they gave us a call and went through the trouble of sending it back! They went above and beyond expectations. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that kept them busy and happy! Thank you!

This is labeled as a KOA Journey but it should be a KOA Resort!!!It's right on the expressway so we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, but I could easily see families spending a weekend or even a week here. The staff is incredible, the sites are level and beautifully landscaped. There is everything you need from a pool to a playground. A solid 5 stars and still working on improvements. We camped at Newberry / I-26 / Sumter NF KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
