Very nice campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a lot of gnomes and cute displays around the camp. A scavenger hunt is incorporated into these displays to give the guests a fun time. Enjoyed the pool. Looks like they are building a small lake and expanding for the future. Convenient to I-26.

We had a great time during our visit. We will be traveling north and south quite frequently and this is the perfectly located stop for us. My only “constructive” feedback is that hopefully you will be able to eventually upgrade a few campsites to allow EV charging, install EV chargers at specific bookable sites,(Wytheville WV has this option) or install a few chargers on site!

This was our 3rd stay here. This facility is so guest focused! All the teamembers that work there are so friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond from the knome scavenger hunt to the well stocked store and more. We love staying there and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great stay somewhere! We travel alot and wish more campgrounds were like this one.

We have stayed at multiple KOA's in the US. So far this one is by far our favorite. Friendly staff. Clean everywhere. Just the right amount of shade and amenities.

What a beautiful campground.and spectacular host family, especially Buddy! We only camp at KOAs and and this one is, without a doubt, the best run one we have been to. You just feel like you're visiting with family. Seeing Linda and Buddy each morning and chatting while we had our morning coffee was amazing. The pond at feeding time is so fun, just everything about this campground is top notch.

It is the best KOA we have ever stayed at! The staff was friendly, helpful and genuine. The sites were level, clean and just as the whole campground, perfectly very well maintained. All the different fun activities were a wonderful addition. We wished we had extended our stay to enjoy it even more. Thank you for making it the most enjoyable time camping.

The Newberry/I-26/Sumpter NF KOA is such a little oasis. The campground is well maintained and the gnomes are adorable. The staff is friendly and so helpful. We love staying here when we are in the area.

Beautiful magnolia trees and a nice campsite. But what got us is the most friendly staff ever! They all work so hard but always have time for you. The donuts we delicious and I loved the little store. Clean and quiet campground and still working to build more amenities.we recommend it.

Stayed here a few times. We travel a lot and believe they have great level sites, clean campground and facilities and some of the most friendly and helpful staff. Stop by and check them out.

Unfortunately we had an issue with a severe water leak and the entire team stepped in and helped us get the camper put back together after the repair was done. They are awesome

One of the cleanest campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Staff was extremely friendly and got us checked in quick. Nice to see the owners expanding and adding more features.

Got to talk with owners of this camp ground,they were all wonderful and welcoming. I will definitely be going back. Camp ground was very clean and loved that they have so much to offer children.

The paw pen is the best idea ever. It was my favorite camping experience. I spent so much time outside and my dogs loved the company and their freedom. We will be back for sure.

Great staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Grounds were very well kept with activities for all ages. Restrooms and laundry were clean and stocked. Site was level and everything worked as it should.

Great location and staff. This is our 2nd stay as a destination not just for stopping over. A host KOA camper recommended this place as great stop when traveling on I 26 from beach to mtns. We really liked our site as it fit well we our newer camper w/slides. We order pizza and when we got done swimming it was ready and offered delivery for our lunch . Love the Sauna . Chris /Roxane

We stayed overnight; this campground is a convenient halfway point for us. The campground is clean, and the staff is beyond friendly. We will continue to stay here on out travels.

This is the best KOA we have stayed at. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency. Everyone was so kind and offered to pray for our family member. We will definitely be back. If you're looking for a great KOA to camp, this is the one.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It's unfortunate that you only value our level, clean, pull-through, full hook up sites (for a 40 foot coach that is towing) at "$40 to 45" dollars a night. We know our value, and we're sorry that you don't understand the economics of running a campground. Safe travels.

Well maintained campground not far from the interstate. The sites are nearby but each one has its own special layout (some have pavers for sitting areas, each slightly different, ours had a nice seating area and garden on the campsite). There is a dog park, pool and other activities. It looks like they plan to expand around the lake in the back of the park sometime soon.

We were traveling back to Pa from Florida and booked a Deluxe Pull through Patio site for one night. We were assigned site #40 and it was awesome! It had a concrete stone patio, table and 4 chairs, 2 person rocker, propane fire pit, regular fire pit. Site was level and was easy access for our late arrival. As we were finishing setting up for the night we had the pleasure of meeting the campground owners who were out and about. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They followed up with us during our travel to the campground and sent us text updates with directions and late arrival instructions. We were able to visit the campground store in the morning and their prices are really reasonable. We also decided to order some food from the store which consisted of a chicken wings, breakfast pizza, cheese pizza, mini donuts, & soft pretzels with cheese. Everything was hot and fresh. Bathroom facilities were clean. Campground is well maintained. Pool looked refreshing and has 8' deep end. Our pups liked the dog park. We will definitely stopping by here again.
