Wow! We can't say enough good about this place. Absolutely a beautiful setting, clean, well manicured grounds. All kinds of wonderful things to do for kids and adults too. From an inviting pool to a scavenger hunt for gnomes. A well stocked camp store. A dog park. But most of all an amazing caring staff. And the owners are top notch. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Love them. 100 stars

The cabin was clean and delightful. Front desk staff were very friendly and informative. The gnome theme made a walk around the PV park fun. The book swap was a nice feature.

A couple of the staff were awesome - they helped us with an issue with the TV. Cabin was decently clean save for a lot of dog hairs, which is to be expected. On the second day water was cold after one person showered briefly. Playground is rundown and not much to do around. Cabin by the entrance and road, which is unsafe for kids. Check-out instructions not provided.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. According to my cleaning staff's photos (they always document their work), the cabin was spotless prior to your arrival. The shower problem was, as you know, because the heater's switch was turned off by someone in your group. Children should be supervised.

We loved the cleanliness of the campground and the up keep is wonderfully maintained. The store is really stocked well and staff/owners are some of the best we have ever had, and we have been rving for years. The price was inline with others in the area. The dog park was clean of any poo which is wonderful and the trash can in there was empied daily with fresh water acess for the dogs. Thank you

I have spent a lot of time at this KOA travelling to see my stepson play football at the local college. I absolutely love this campground, the staff is amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. The campground itself is well maintained, and they work really hard to plan activities and events. Sad he is a Senior this year because I really enjoy staying with them.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Kinardia. We wanted to do something simple and peaceful and that is exactly what we got. We rented Winnie and all we had to bring was our suitcase and any food we wanted to cook. Winnie’s was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The staff is wonderful too, everyone is very approachable and extremely helpful. We will be back!!!!

We really enjoyed this cute cabin, very clean. Couple of issues- propane grill blew up in our face, seems the gas was left on, you cannot read the knobs. Very hazardous. We had a worker stop by and mentioned it to him. * fan light flickers constantly, replace the bulbs. * kitchen drain clogged *deck extremely hot, maybe install a corner fan since awning is too low * make gnomes a bit bigger

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Apologies about the details we missed; we really wish you would have said something when you were here! The grill and light bulbs have been replaced; the drain is unclogged; we're working on a solution for a cool, covered deck in 100-degree heat. Unfortunately, the gnomes refuse to grow any more.

We stayed in the cabin. The staff were friendly and helpful. Campground was quiet and clean. Daytime visitors allowed without an extra charge. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the bathroom and there were plenty of towels. A pull out sofa provided an extra bed. Table and chairs on the porch provided a great place to eat. Best of all, we were able to stay in the cabin with our dogs!

We have been camping since 1969, ran the gamut of tents, pop up campers and 24 ft. campers, now that I'm to the point where I can still enjoy camping without setting up poles, connecting lights and all the other fun things we had to do to get ready to enjoy 3 or 4 days, it's TIME to really enjoy the outdoors. The cabins make life GOOD. BUT I cant say good enough things about the staff at Newberry

Stayed in the magnolia cabin. It was very nice very clean, but there was a lot of noise from the highway 26 and the road right next to the campground very depressed area coming into the campsite. The house across the street looked a little shady made me feel a little uncomfortablecampground is very clean I was charged $75 extra after I checked out due to having my three dogs with me.

I'm sorry that you didn't fully enjoy your stay; the majority of guests, including females travelling alone, feel safe very here. Our pet policy in the cabin is very clear--$25 per dog. Maximum 2. The fee covers hours spent to guarantee any future guests with allergies will not have any issues.

I already have a site at this KOA in a tiny camper. Some days I just need to stretch my legs, so I rented out the Magnolia Cabin for three nights. It's perfect! Everything I needed was there: Fridge, nice bed, comfy couch, TV, microwave. There's no stove since South Carolina doesn't allow cooking in the cabin, but there is a barbecue outside on the deck. I'll do this again when I need to stretch!

Our stay was wonderful as always. We stayed in the cabin this trip and it was great. The cabin had everything we needed and was very cozy. The staff/owners are amazing and the campground has many amenities. We look forward to going back next month!

We had an absolutely magical stay! The kids had so much fun and the cabin was perfect. Loved the decor and the amenities! It was cozy, clean, and so cute! The campground was beautiful and there was so much for the kids to do and explore! We especially loved sluicing for gems! We're already looking forward to the next visit and plan to stay longer next time!

The KOA campground in Newberry is terrific. The facility is unbelievably clean, and the staff treats you as family. I enjoyed the pancake breakfast and chili dinner fundraisers for the Gary Sinise Foundation. Not only was the food great, but also a great way to help our Veterans. I highly recommend spending some time at the campground. There is plenty to do there.

We had a great stay in the Magnolia cabin. Super cute and stocked with everything we needed. The staff members were great as well. The campground was neat and clean. My husband enjoyed the fundraiser breakfast and the chili bar on Saturday and we picked up some gifts from chainsaw carver.

We were traveling back to Pa from Florida and booked a Deluxe Pull through Patio site for one night. We were assigned site #40 and it was awesome! It had a concrete stone patio, table and 4 chairs, 2 person rocker, propane fire pit, regular fire pit. Site was level and was easy access for our late arrival. As we were finishing setting up for the night we had the pleasure of meeting the campground owners who were out and about. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They followed up with us during our travel to the campground and sent us text updates with directions and late arrival instructions. We were able to visit the campground store in the morning and their prices are really reasonable. We also decided to order some food from the store which consisted of a chicken wings, breakfast pizza, cheese pizza, mini donuts, & soft pretzels with cheese. Everything was hot and fresh. Bathroom facilities were clean. Campground is well maintained. Pool looked refreshing and has 8' deep end. Our pups liked the dog park. We will definitely stopping by here again.
