We only stayed 1 night but we were impressed with the campground. Friendly owners, nicely decorated surroundings, and the cleanest bathrooms we have ever encountered in a campsite. Seriously like staying in a 4 star hotel! I just can't say enough about these bathrooms.

The return site was nice and quiet. The whole deal with the 50 amp service not working and transitioning to the 30 amp worked out ok, but it was quite the cluster.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do apologize for the "cluster." We only realized the issue with the 50 amp service when you reported the problem. (Several unusual power surges caused the havoc.) Luckily, it only affected a few of our sites; unfortunately, yours was one of them. The issue is almost resolved!

Great weekend with local events. We had a level gravel full hookup pull through site. Very clean & quiet campground. They had a hayride and train ride for kids.

Needed a simple overnight stay on my travel home from Florida to Tennessee. I was treated very kindly and found the area clean and well maintained. I shall stay again if I am ever in the area.

Very nice friendly staff and clean restrooms. The Internet was down but they were able to work around it and accommodate our reservation.

Apologies for the internet issue. When you checked in, the outage had just occurred, so we were in the process of determining the cause. It turns out that the entire area of Joanna was affected, but AT&T had service restored by 1 am on 10/3. So sorry about that!

Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, loved the gnome theme and the scavenger hunt. The painted rocks were so much fun to find. Great campground, we felt safe and welcomed.

Several persons including me needed to access office staff Sunday morning before we left at 11 am. Office does not open til noon on Sunday. I needed to exchange a nightshirt purchased. another lady needed change for dryer before she left at 11. Not sure about needs of others. This is the only reason I marked it lower. It might be good to consider having someone there by 10am on Sunday. .

Apologies, but the office is closed until noon on Sunday so that all of our staff are able to attend worship services. This is also why we post our office hours, very clearly, on our door and website. We also note them in our text messages and when guests check-in.

Wonderful KOA, clean the owners are working constantly to improve the gnomes all over are so fun The pizza delivered to you site is so convenient and the pizza was very good Our 2nd time there if you are in route it's definitely Worth the stop

Internet was not good. No air tv channels. Site was nice and clean.

We do apologize, on behalf of AT&T. There was an issue on their end that interrupted service in our area, including our fiberoptic cable line. It was resolved around 1 am on 10/3. TV channels should not have been affected, but that is also beyond our control.

This is a beautiful park to visit. The staff is always out working to keep it pleasant, clean and friendly. You are always surrounded by hearty hellos, crafty decorations and fun things to be done. We come back to their Magnolia Cabin every year and every year there is something new to enjoy.

Wow! What a nice inviting place. The people were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and decorated with pumpkins for fall. They delivered firewood to my campsite and offered to deliver pizza. The bathrooms were immaculate. You can tell the owners take pride in this campground. Thank you! Will definitely be back!

This was our second stay and as nice as the first. Very clean grounds and facilities. Lots of recreational activities on site and nearby. Very beautiful setting. Nice sites. Plenty of shade. Staff is always helpful. The improvements from year to year are fun to see. Can’t wait to see the changes the next time we stay. Would highly recommend.

We only spent the night but it was one of the nicest parks we've been in. We have been to 48 states and 7 provinces and this park was by far the nicest. Well thought out areas. The owners put their heart and soul into this one!!

We’ve stayed at 34 KOA’s in the past in the past three months and this stay is definitely in the top 5, one of the cleanest and absolutely the most friendliest KOA by fare and the attention to detail throughout the campground is truly amazing and the wings and pizza was delicious. We will most definitely stay there again when in the area. ���

easy access from I 26, the Fairview Church Road, very narrow and in poor condition. Arrived at 2 and was pleasantly greeted by the KOA host and escorted to site #22, gravel roads, facing north, PT gravel site w/grass on sides in between sites, no privacy bushes, but big shady trees & plenty long enough for our 45’ MH and tow, 20+ over the air channels tuned in, good AT&T signal no problem with

We had a great time at our stay at Newberry KOA. Met up with some family members for birthday celebrations. Newberry KOA staff were fantastic and the campground and facilities were clean and well kept! A lot of activities for children! Would be an excellent overnight if you are traveling I-26.

Nice smaller KOA less than a mile off US26. There's a BP gas station when you get off the exit. This is an old school campground like the ones I grew up with. Looks like a family run outfit, too, which is nice. I have to say the staff made our stay they were very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. What they lack in size, they make up with a family feel and they plan small events to keep the little ones occupied if you have kids, The store is very reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other KOAs we stayed at. They also offer a small menu, including pizza, which was also reasonably priced. As such, we ordered the wings small but very tasty. we also purchased 2 extra large sleeping shirts for the ladies and 1 buck naked short for me. Totaling under $70. Where other KOAs it would be at least double that price. Definitely would stop here again.
