The campground goes out of their way to make sure everything is good for your stay. The pizza and wings from the kitchen are wonderful. We will return again.

Management and the work campers were all amazing and went out of their way to help me when I came in with a broken axle. They made an unpleasant experience most enjoyable!

Rental camper was immaculate and absolutely everything included! Had a relaxing time and loved the area. Didn’t use bathrooms so can’t comment on that. Nice store and bought a few items for Christmas gifts. Will be back!

Unfortunately our stay was cut short to only one day due to an illness. Staff were very understanding and refunded our remaining two days. The #29 site was well maintained and perfectly level! I was impressed that a staff member led us to our site and made sure we were oriented to best utilize the hook-ups. The rest rooms were immaculate. We will be back!! Happy Holidays!

We had a wonderful pizza prepared by Susie and the crew. Delicious! Just what we needed! Then, in the morning, our toad's battery had given up the ghost. Told Susie. The guys were at our site in 10 minutes. Charged the battery. Told me what I had likely done wrong. No more problems. We will return to Sumter NF KOA, if our path crosses there again - definitely.

Use this KOA for a night stay over spot on our way to and from Florida. Can't say much for the amenities because we don't use them but the staff is always friendly.

One of the best! Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Everything in working order. Well stocked store. Excellent wifi. We would definitely stay here again.

As always, very nice folks to deal with and very accommodating. We only stay here one night on our annual trips to Florida and return trip in the spring , but they are always welcoming and make sure everything is ok with our site. Great campground,Thanks folks!

Only 2 issues, site not as level as would have liked. When we reserved was traveling with another couple and were told we would have sites next to each other and that was not honored. We were quiet aways apart. Traffic noise was pretty loud all night too.

We're sorry to hear your stay didn't meet your expectations! We aren't always able to keep travelling partners next to each other, but I don't recall hearing about any issues. Did you mention this special request when you arrived? Traffic noise is usually minimal. Hope you'll give us another try!

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Sites were large enough for our rig and the escort was a plus. Miss cable, but O well. One night without TV is not too bad. This is a great overnight stop for us and we will return.

Nice clean campground. The staff is super and they go out of their way to help. They are adding on amenity’s too. We only stayed 1 night and did not have to unhook our 5th wheel. It’s a good area if you just want relaxation. We would gladly stay here again.

All the employees were great and very friendly. My niece and I stayed 2 nights in a tent, 25 degrees the first night.

This is such a nice and quaint campground. The staff are super friendly. The grounds always look amazing and they are forever planting and/or raking to keep the grounds up. The camp spaces are very roomy and you have trees, which I love. This was our 2nd time staying, and we will definitely be back.

Nice quiet campground with ultra-clean restrooms. Had a nice conversation with co-owner Stan. Great location when traveling south to the South Carolina coast from the Smokies or Blue Ridge. Friendly staff and a great stopover.

This was our first visit but definitely not our last. Highly recommend. The place is beautiful, the staff is nice and they put on a wonderful event for Halloween weekend. We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again.

We had a fun weekend celebrating Halloween. They had bingo, hayrides, dinner, site decorating contest, etc. camp is well cared for and employees are friendly and hard working.

Had a 1 nite stay over the weekend before halloween and this place was packed. Checkin to final departure was great. Very friendly staff. Halloween theme and decoration were prevalent across the park. Kids had trick or treating, hayrides, live music, movies you name it. Very Family oriented. Top notch for a KOA Journey campground. Sites were nice and wide and full hook ups. We’ll be back!

We had a great time at our stay at Newberry KOA. Met up with some family members for birthday celebrations. Newberry KOA staff were fantastic and the campground and facilities were clean and well kept! A lot of activities for children! Would be an excellent overnight if you are traveling I-26.

Nice smaller KOA less than a mile off US26. There's a BP gas station when you get off the exit. This is an old school campground like the ones I grew up with. Looks like a family run outfit, too, which is nice. I have to say the staff made our stay they were very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. What they lack in size, they make up with a family feel and they plan small events to keep the little ones occupied if you have kids, The store is very reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other KOAs we stayed at. They also offer a small menu, including pizza, which was also reasonably priced. As such, we ordered the wings small but very tasty. we also purchased 2 extra large sleeping shirts for the ladies and 1 buck naked short for me. Totaling under $70. Where other KOAs it would be at least double that price. Definitely would stop here again.
