We absolutely LOVE the Newberry KOA!! Very nice sites, clean restrooms, and very friendly staff!! One of the nicest KOA’s we stay at!!

We stayed overnight; this campground is a convenient halfway point for us. The campground is clean, and the staff is beyond friendly. We will continue to stay here on out travels.

This is the best KOA we have stayed at. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency. Everyone was so kind and offered to pray for our family member. We will definitely be back. If you're looking for a great KOA to camp, this is the one.

Cost to much

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It's unfortunate that you only value our level, clean, pull-through, full hook up sites (for a 40 foot coach that is towing) at "$40 to 45" dollars a night. We know our value, and we're sorry that you don't understand the economics of running a campground. Safe travels.

What a nice place to overnight. The pool was wonderful after a day’s drive on I40 from Knoxville!

Wow! We can't say enough good about this place. Absolutely a beautiful setting, clean, well manicured grounds. All kinds of wonderful things to do for kids and adults too. From an inviting pool to a scavenger hunt for gnomes. A well stocked camp store. A dog park. But most of all an amazing caring staff. And the owners are top notch. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Love them. 100 stars

Well maintained campground not far from the interstate. The sites are nearby but each one has its own special layout (some have pavers for sitting areas, each slightly different, ours had a nice seating area and garden on the campsite). There is a dog park, pool and other activities. It looks like they plan to expand around the lake in the back of the park sometime soon.

This was one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve visited. Cleanliness was outstanding, great showers and restrooms. Entire grounds were impeccable. We were greeted and welcomed, the tent site perfect. We will return.

Great stop over for an overnight stay heading to Hilton Head. Super friendly staff and owners. I highly recommend this campground.

Clean, quiet, and convenient! Just an overnight stop on the way to the beach, but the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the campground was so pleasant that we’ve decided to make this our regular overnight on trips from TN to SC. Thanks for a great experience!

Very nice, clean, beautiful campground. There is a wonderful dog park that my dog really enjoyed. They had great toys in there that were not choking hazards. Everyone was exceedingly friendly. We plan on coming back.

Lovely RV Park. Went above and beyond to give me a spot with lots of grass to walk my dogs. Lots of fun things to do. Laundry room was very clean.

I have been RVing many years. I have never seen a campground so clean a site as they do here. They even clean the water facet with a cleaner to prevent contamination from a previous user. Amazing!!!!

Wouldn't give refunds and charge 50 dollars bc just a little few things were left.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We already spoke on the phone about this issue. The camper was sold; however, there were NUMEROUS items left on the site, including a FULL honey wagon tote, dishes, containers, a garbage can, and a charcoal grill. Staff had to move everything a day AFTER we were told you would return to do it.

The grounds are kept neat and clean the staff is friendly and willing to help with a smile. The sites can handle any type RV. Will definitely stay again with our family.

This is a very nice KOA. The KOA is easily accessed and it is a nicely kept and quiet campground. The staff are super nice and want to make sure that you are enjoying your stay. Highly recommend this campground!

My 2nd stay and the staff is very helpful n friendly. Saltwater pool was warm too. We ordered wings n pizza from their kitchen and all was good. Highly recommend this KOA

After staying in my camper mostly full time for 15 plus years while traveling all over the Southeast for work and staying at countless campgrounds , This particular campground is at the top of my Favorite list .. • Super Friendly/ Helpful Staff • Super well maintained grounds • very Quiet • Offers lots of activities for kids and adults • 2 Minutes to interstate 26 • well Stocked and clean camp store for essential needs • Very clean and well maintained Bathrooms and laundry. • kitchen with a small menu that the deliver to your camper ! Overall just a really nice laid back place to stay .

This is one of the best KOA"s I've ever stayed at. Such friendly people, clean, beautiful surroundings for sure. We just passing through for a night but would love to stay longer next time. Also, their store is beautiful with a lot of nice things.
