Great place. Staff outstanding. Clean restrooms Level sites. Only thing negative was the bars in the handicap restroom. Would have been much easier if bar had been on left wall instead of back side. Very awkward. Will be back

First time staying at this KOA in Newberry and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were great and just a great campground. We will definitely be back in the future.

I was bringing my new camper back from Florida to Indiana and need a place to stay, about half way. I didn't get there until 8 pm, but they called me earlier with info for a late check-in. Everything was in the late check in box, with directions to my site. I wish I could of seen the park in the daylight, as I left before sunrise, but seem very nice. Enjoyed the Christmas lights when I arrived!

We use the KOA as a stop over on our way to GA from SC and the Site are easy to get in and out. The staff was great.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms with nice showers with plenty of hot water. They even delivered hot wings to our site so we didn’t need to go out for food

All their staff are super friendly, professional and really enjoyable to talk with. They are specially supportive of our veterans and children with special challenges, just wonderful people. The grounds are extremely well kept and they have something for everyone! I highly recommend spending some time at Newbury KOA. Happy and safe traveling all, Ken

We wished we could have stayed longer, however our puppy got ill and we had to leave before expected. The WiFi was exceptional. We were able to stream TV to our smart TV's without any issue.

This is a great campground with great friendly customer service. For the thanksgiving holiday they had lots of things for the family to do. Quiet and clean. Very easy access in and out. Will definitely come back.

We always love staying in the cabin and this year was no exception! It is so comfortable and cozy. The staff/owners were so awesome, as usual. We enjoyed the Hangover Breakfast the morning after Thanksgiving and think it is fantastic that it was supporting the Gary Sinise Foundation. We always love all the Gnomes. The Golf Cart parade and lighting of the Christmas lights was fun too!

We stayed in Harvey, the rental RV, while in town for the Spartan race, and what a great time we had! Our kids are now convinced we need to buy our own. Thank you for everything!

Everyone was so incredibly nice! Lovely campsite with great fire pit with cooking grate which was awesome. Super sweet staff, the scavenger hunt was so fun! My daughter can't wait to go back once fishing pond is ready!

Super staff and nice amenities which will be even nicer when the planned additions are finished. I wasn’t expecting to hear the highway, but it wasn’t bad and I noticed it much less before long. I will come back!

The campground goes out of their way to make sure everything is good for your stay. The pizza and wings from the kitchen are wonderful. We will return again.

Management and the work campers were all amazing and went out of their way to help me when I came in with a broken axle. They made an unpleasant experience most enjoyable!

Rental camper was immaculate and absolutely everything included! Had a relaxing time and loved the area. Didn’t use bathrooms so can’t comment on that. Nice store and bought a few items for Christmas gifts. Will be back!

Unfortunately our stay was cut short to only one day due to an illness. Staff were very understanding and refunded our remaining two days. The #29 site was well maintained and perfectly level! I was impressed that a staff member led us to our site and made sure we were oriented to best utilize the hook-ups. The rest rooms were immaculate. We will be back!! Happy Holidays!

We had a wonderful pizza prepared by Susie and the crew. Delicious! Just what we needed! Then, in the morning, our toad's battery had given up the ghost. Told Susie. The guys were at our site in 10 minutes. Charged the battery. Told me what I had likely done wrong. No more problems. We will return to Sumter NF KOA, if our path crosses there again - definitely.

Nice smaller KOA less than a mile off US26. There's a BP gas station when you get off the exit. This is an old school campground like the ones I grew up with. Looks like a family run outfit, too, which is nice. I have to say the staff made our stay they were very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. What they lack in size, they make up with a family feel and they plan small events to keep the little ones occupied if you have kids, The store is very reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other KOAs we stayed at. They also offer a small menu, including pizza, which was also reasonably priced. As such, we ordered the wings small but very tasty. we also purchased 2 extra large sleeping shirts for the ladies and 1 buck naked short for me. Totaling under $70. Where other KOAs it would be at least double that price. Definitely would stop here again.

Nice, clean, and convenient just off I 26. Cool "Gnome" themed campground with level, pull through sites to accommodate a large motorcoach. Great for an overnight or short term.
