Wonderful, friendly staff! Workers take pride in keeping sites clean. Nice dog park. Enjoyed the church service and the fact that one was available. Great location for travel stop overs!

What a beautiful campground and family. We were so lucky, one day while swimming we got to have a long chat with one of the amazing couples who run this dreamy campground. They were so welcoming and helpful. The gnome theme is very fun. We will definitely be back here. We can't wait to see the new renovations coming.

Of all the campgrounds in traveling in South Carolina the KOA Newberry is quite simply a “oasis.” The grounds of the campground are beautiful. The staff are so very friendly and kind. This campground is fantastic.

Great campground and very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue is most sites are not level and last thing I want to do after traveling all day is mess with the leveling blocks.

Thanks for the compliments, and I'm sorry that you had an issue with your site. A few of our back-in sites, as you noted, aren't level front to back, due to the topography of the campground and how rain drains away from the sites. Our pull-thru sites are level, as most of the comments note.

Good for a one night stopover. Easy access on a busy road with fast drivers. Highway noise.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Apologies about the road noise. Occasionally, Fairview Church Road can be noisy, but most guests agree that our campground is quiet and peaceful. So sorry that you didn't have that experience, but that's also a trade-off for being conveniently located by a highway.

Amazing! The staff are so nice and knowledgeable. The sites clean and well maintained. We have stopped here for a night several times but can’t wait to stay a few days and enjoy all the amenities!

This campground is convenient to I26. The staff are the reason for my high rating. They were efficient and courteous beyond our expectations. They sent texts before, during and after our stay with very helpful information about the campground and surrounding areas

The staff makes you feel like family. We have stayed here 4 times in the last 12 months, and we will return at least once more. The KOA Team here is top notch, the grounds are immaculate, the activities are fun, and they are expanding!! Do not miss staying here, for the price, it one of the best!

What an amazing little spot to stay. We enjoyed it so much can’t wait for the fishing pond to be completed so we can go fish while we’re there next time.

What a wonderful campground. The people who run it are so welcoming. The cleanest campground bathrooms I have ever been in. Was a great location for what we needed. I asked about the nearest grocery store and they had a whole sheet of directions and recommendations for me. If I could give them better than a 10 I would.

We have been stopping by this location for years. The owners are fantastic and go well above and beyond to make everything just right. Time after time we see improvements on what already is a well kept property.

This is a review for a KOA camp ground: This is a lovely, small campground just off the Interstate, making it a peaceful place to stay. The owners are putting in a lot of effort to improve the place, with exciting new ideas. Family friendly with $$ rates.

I only stayed for one night, they were able to check me in last second which i appreciate. The bathrooms are immaculate and the people are very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.
