The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our site was a bit short and had standing pools of water / mud after the rain. Tough with dogs. :( The bath house (mens) shower valves either didn't work at all or worked very poorly - definitely needs some maintenance.

We're so sorry that your stay didn't meet your expectations. The site you were on is 65 feet long and it's recently been resurfaced. We're working on replanting grass; however, we can't control how much rain falls. No other guests have reported issues with the showers, so thanks for letting us know!

Newberry KOA has become one of our favorite stops when traveling south. They are the friendliest and nicest people and take great care of their guests. Their pride in their campground shows.

We have stayed at the Newberry KOA twice now and it never disappoints! The staff is always happy to make our stay the best ever! Best customer service ever!

Hard to rate on the amenities it was raining when we arrived. I will write the arrival experience was excellent! Everyone was outstandingly friendly. The park is clean. Easy on and off the highway easy on and out of the park.

We were passing through the area and found the campground very convenient, well maintained and a quiet spot for an overnight visit. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful.

This park was wonderful. Besides it being convenient, it was very well maintained. The sites were great & easy to access. We were in site 22 & it was very long so there was no problem parking the truck with our 35 ft 5th wheel. The owners are present, visible & very friendly. You can tell they all love their campground. I hope to be back in spring/summer when I can see & smell all the blooms.

Quick overnight stay Newberry/Sumter NF KOA and it was great! We were greeted by friendly staff and our name on their welcome board outside the front door to office. Very clean and well cared for campground and facilities - we went for an evening stroll and enjoyed the hidden gnomes and painted rocks along the walking path. Pizza and wings delivered to our site was added bonus!

This is absolutely one of our favorite campgrounds. We go quite often as it is fairly close to home. We have always been greeted with smiles and warm hellos. Love the grounds, the sites, the staff and the owners. They maintain this campground like no other.

Very convenient location off I-26. This was our second stay. Staff is very friendly, campground and facilities are very clean. Pizza is good and a great value after a day on the road.

Convenient location right off the highway for our trip from Florida. The young lady that greeted us was friendly, gave us clear information, and directed us to our site. The site was a good size and fairly level making for easy set up, and the bathrooms were very clean. We were only there 1 night, so didn't use any other facilities, but we will keep this location in mind for future stops.

It is a lovely campground and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The camground is well laid out, spacious and super clean! The only thing that I would offer as feedback would be to increase the umber of bathrooms and showers available. We enjoyed the gnomes/fairies and decorated rock offering. Thank you for a fun stay.

We booked a premium pull-through site advertised as easy in/out, level, and spacious. It was actually sloped and uneven, making auto-leveling nearly impossible. We even had to move the picnic table to extend our slide and pull through another site to exit. The host was helpful, but not ideal for RVs 35 feet or longer.

We are so sorry that you had a disappointing stay. After reviewing your reservation, you were ACCIDENTALLY put on a site that was meant for shorter campers. Please understand this is not the norm. We hope you will return and give us a second chance.

Stayed at several RV campgrounds this is the best campground we have stayed in. I would not change a thing. Salt water pool very clean well kept. Grounds were maintained . Pizza and wings were great. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff treated us like family. Loved the Gnome theme. We didn't find a reason to leave the campground and explore the surrounding area. We had everything we needed here.

This camp ground is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. We left something and they gave us a call and went through the trouble of sending it back! They went above and beyond expectations. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that kept them busy and happy! Thank you!

This is labeled as a KOA Journey but it should be a KOA Resort!!!It's right on the expressway so we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, but I could easily see families spending a weekend or even a week here. The staff is incredible, the sites are level and beautifully landscaped. There is everything you need from a pool to a playground. A solid 5 stars and still working on improvements. We camped at Newberry / I-26 / Sumter NF KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
