We have been using this KOA as a half way point for the past few years because we like the people, large sites and the extras offered at this KOA. Our dog especially likes it!

beautiful Campground, friendly staff, quite place to spend the night. The restrooms were excellent, clean. Although we were adviced upon making the reservation, the road behind our campsite put us at risk with cars overseeding on a one lane road.

Thanks for your praise. As for the road, we understand it can be unnerving, but the state refuses to add a guard rail. We can't. Hopefully, next time you'll take our advice and book a pull-thru site that isn't by the road, if it makes you uncomfortable.

A couple of the staff were awesome - they helped us with an issue with the TV. Cabin was decently clean save for a lot of dog hairs, which is to be expected. On the second day water was cold after one person showered briefly. Playground is rundown and not much to do around. Cabin by the entrance and road, which is unsafe for kids. Check-out instructions not provided.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. According to my cleaning staff's photos (they always document their work), the cabin was spotless prior to your arrival. The shower problem was, as you know, because the heater's switch was turned off by someone in your group. Children should be supervised.

Our stay was short, but we enjoyed the beauty of the park and the people were all very friendly. We will be back. Also the restrooms were extremely clean.

What was supposed to be a 2 night stay turned into a 14 night stay when our.truck had to go in for repairs. The people there were nothing but kind and accommodating. If we had to get stranded somewhere, we couldn’t have picked a better place!

Sites are large and easily accessible. Campground is extremely clean and dog friendly. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

Easy off/on from interstate. Site was level and I didn’t have to unhook from my fifth wheel. Staff are very nice and helpful. The campground is very nice and enjoyable to be at.

Very friendly, pull through site for 40’ MH and toe vehicle was not level enough to level. Had to disconnect and back MH up in site in order to level with jacks. Was charged for pull through and no accommodation for being same as backin.

We're so sorry that you couldn't level your MH, which caused you to have to disconnect. As for the rate for the site, our rates are based on hook-ups (full vs. water/electric), not on pull-thru or back-in. Happy trails!

This was our first time camping and the staff made it easy. They're very friendly and willing to help out. The campgrounds were very well kept and easy to get around. Thank you for making our first camping trip Memorable.

We only stayed one night. The woman in the office was very friendly and helpful. The camp store had all the usual items, but also some very cute items I haven't seen elsewhere. You can do a scavenger hunt in the park, looking for numbered Gnomes, and if you finish it you will receive a free ice cream bar. cute gardens, lights at night, and of course gnomes throughout the campground.

We were just passing through and decided to stop here. The staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. The grounds were clean and very well kept. We will definitely be back here.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Sumter/Newberry KOA in Kinards, SC—so much so that we easily could have stayed longer. Our patio campsite was lovely, with a comfortable setup that made it easy to relax. We loved the charming “library garden” right in front of our site. It’s very obvious that the staff loves this park. They are friendly and caring. Everything is clean and well maintained, many new upgrades.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this KOA. It's very well maintained, the staff is amazing, the office/store is well-stocked. The expansion plans are exciting; we hope they don't adversely change the comfortable, peaceful vibe of the camp. We were so pleased to meet several of the owners. We had some fun and meaningful talks. It was a great experience, and we hope to stay there again. Thank you!

Amazing Friendly hosts and they were very useful for what we needed. The best place I have ever stayed and will stay again. They made us feel like family. And a lot of activities for adults and children. The place was clean from one into the other.

The best campground! We’ve visited plenty of places over the years, but we’ve never encountered such an incredible, welcoming group of owners/staff. There’s plenty to do for both kids and adults, and we’ll absolutely be returning!

We stayed overnight and it was very comfortable. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The laundry room was great. We were able to catch up on our laundry. The dog park was nice and everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely go back. Thank you all

Stayed at several RV campgrounds this is the best campground we have stayed in. I would not change a thing. Salt water pool very clean well kept. Grounds were maintained . Pizza and wings were great. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff treated us like family. Loved the Gnome theme. We didn't find a reason to leave the campground and explore the surrounding area. We had everything we needed here.

This camp ground is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. We left something and they gave us a call and went through the trouble of sending it back! They went above and beyond expectations. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that kept them busy and happy! Thank you!

This is labeled as a KOA Journey but it should be a KOA Resort!!!It's right on the expressway so we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, but I could easily see families spending a weekend or even a week here. The staff is incredible, the sites are level and beautifully landscaped. There is everything you need from a pool to a playground. A solid 5 stars and still working on improvements. We camped at Newberry / I-26 / Sumter NF KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
