Nice quick get away for the weekend with the family. Please update your gnome scavenger hunt we looked and looked for some gnomes that were not even there they had been switched out for something else but list wasnt updated. We still had a great time searching with the kids. We also were told by two different people it was $1.50 per gnome which it was not. They gave 1.50 icecream.

This is a very peaceful location and veery helpful staff the sites are spacious and level the mini doughnuts are good. The showers are nice the store is well stocked the park is clean .

Very courteous and welcoming staff. They keep all informed by text messages as to park activities, etc. Grounds and all areas are kept very well. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms and showers.

We Always Enjoy our Stay. And look forward to the n Ct time we can camp at the Newberry KOA. ALL the owners and staff are so pleasant and welcoming.. they go above and beyond to make our stay memorable… I’d actually rate them a 10 , and my family camps at a lot of KOA campgrounds and they are at the top of our list of favorite!!!

We enjoyed our stay the campground was very nice and clean. We were impressed with how clean the restrooms were. Our only complaint was the campsite that we were in was right next to a road that sometimes was really busy. That was the only thing we have to say, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we intend to come back and hopefully we can stay farther away from the road.

Very nice park. Quiet and well kept up. Host were very friendly. If you want a nice quiet park to relax this is it. It’s a Journey but looks like a Holiday.

Spent one night. Very pleasant with everyone very friendly and willing to make your stay great. We liked the food items. The kitchen stays open until lol 6:30 which was great for us arriving about 5;30. Will definitely stay there again.

We were just passing through so we didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities. The welcome text was very helpful and late night check in was easy. This was an easy in and out park for our Class A motor home.

It is a midway point between us and the beach and it’s a perfect place to break up our trip. Very pretty, great staff. We don’t even unhook, just unwind and move on the next day.

Welcome port in a storm. After leaving Helene ravaged NC, even without power it was a welcome stopover on our way back to Florida.

Mama Mea and the entire staff were really nice and helpful. We were there when Hurricane Helene hit and cut our stay short by 2 days when the entire campground lost power. They were courteous when checking on everyone and when we decided to leave due to no power and try to get back home, they refunded us the 2 nights we weren't able to stay. I will definitely be staying there in the future.

The staff went way beyond expectations. We were escaping the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. They helped us look for fuel, guided us in directly to our site without having yet checked in; they heard I ran out of a few items and when someone went shopping brought those items to me so my grandchildren had what they needed. So way over and above. My heartfelt thanks to their staff.

Stayed at several RV campgrounds this is the best campground we have stayed in. I would not change a thing. Salt water pool very clean well kept. Grounds were maintained . Pizza and wings were great. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff treated us like family. Loved the Gnome theme. We didn't find a reason to leave the campground and explore the surrounding area. We had everything we needed here.

This camp ground is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. We left something and they gave us a call and went through the trouble of sending it back! They went above and beyond expectations. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that kept them busy and happy! Thank you!

This is labeled as a KOA Journey but it should be a KOA Resort!!!It's right on the expressway so we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, but I could easily see families spending a weekend or even a week here. The staff is incredible, the sites are level and beautifully landscaped. There is everything you need from a pool to a playground. A solid 5 stars and still working on improvements. We camped at Newberry / I-26 / Sumter NF KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
