Very nice campground with knowledgeable staff and friendly!! Easy on and off interstate if you’re traveling. Good place to stay a while , I like the saltwater pool and kids love to hunt the gnomes. I would very much recommend you try it if passing through the Newberry S.C.area !

Great stay during our return visit. Campground is very nice and the staff was fantastic. Nice camp store, and offers Pizza, Chicken Wings, and Mini Doughnuts. Will stay again in the future.

Very friendly, happy staff. Came in late at night for a stay over. We were met with a worker on a golf cart to help us to our spot at dark.

Very friendly Staff. Clean and well maintained sites. Just off the Interstate enough so that you don’t hear all the road noise. Nice KOA.

We just stayed one night on our way to another destination. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was nice and level and we did not have to unhook our truck for just one night which is great!. When we left the next morning the maintenance staff was already out cleaning sites. If we are in the area and need a place to stay for a night, we would not hesitate to stay again

Our club really enjoyed our stay. Many remarks were made on the cleanliness, neatness and work ethic of all to make it a lasting impression. Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. We appreciate Stanley giving us a tour of your raised bed gardens and giving us the background of many of the plants. Very impressive. We will definitely be back!

The campground was immaculately kept which includes the campground itself bathrooms, and the camp store. The people running the campground were the best I’ve experienced. I would highly recommend anyone traveling along a I-26 or just wanting good camping experience to visit KOA Newberry.

Beautiful location! The campsite was really clean and we loved all the amenities (pool, dog park, playground, …). Super friendly staff too that gave us lots of great recommendations for our visit.

The campground is great for an overnight or extended stay. Clean grounds and bathrooms. More amenities than most journeys, pool, gem mine, and games. I highly recommend this campground long pull throughs and great people you won’t be disappointed.

Never experienced a journey like this. Before arriving felt welcome. The campground is beautiful and everyone there is wonderful. Would recommend this campground, stay linger than 1 night.

Pleasant campground with great staff. So friendly & welcoming. Love the Gnomes all around & the scavenger hunt for them. The laundry was very clean. The store was well stocked. I didn't use the bathroom facilities. They have a nice community fire pit area which was used by our group, and also a nice pavilion next to it. Our friends dogs enjoyed the dog park. Very easy to get to from I-26

Very nice campground with perfectly located hookups which make for a super easy setup. The campground staff were there when you needed them and everyone we dealt with were super friendly and helpful.

We LOVE this campground. We live only 40 miles away, but it's always a very nice place for a quick weekend visit. Staff are extremely nice, campground is very well maintained and its just an all around great place to stay.

Neat, Clean Park! Owners were Super Nice and Very Accommodating! We are 32 ft and flat towing. They put us in a pull thru site that allowed us to stay without dropping the toad. We Will be back!!

The staff were all very friendly and loved walking the beautiful grounds. Everything was very clean and well kept. The gnome theme was so cute and enjoyed the scavenger hunt. I also found some nice keepsake items while shopping the camp store.

This was our very first stay and an unplanned visit to a KOA. My husband has the idea that KOA's are very parking lot like and this certainly did not fit that image at all. Babette was very friendly when I called and asked if there was availability and she made us feel very good about choosing to stay at the Newberry KOA. We will definitely stay again. A warm welcome when we arrived too!

Perfect, peaceful campground among the tall trees of the South Carolina woods. Beautifully landscaped, you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in and work hard to make this place look nice. It was quiet and relaxing, the lady that helped us (Janice) could not possibly have been any nicer. I cant; stress enough how clean and well maintained this place is. We would definitely stay here again!

All of the women went above and beyond to make our stay a great 1 even after we had to move our camp space because of our sick Chihuahua. It was a very peaceful & clean camp area and the people staying in the park were very friendly. We loved hunting for gnomes & rocks�

Stayed at several RV campgrounds this is the best campground we have stayed in. I would not change a thing. Salt water pool very clean well kept. Grounds were maintained . Pizza and wings were great. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff treated us like family. Loved the Gnome theme. We didn't find a reason to leave the campground and explore the surrounding area. We had everything we needed here.

This camp ground is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. We left something and they gave us a call and went through the trouble of sending it back! They went above and beyond expectations. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that kept them busy and happy! Thank you!

This is labeled as a KOA Journey but it should be a KOA Resort!!!It's right on the expressway so we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, but I could easily see families spending a weekend or even a week here. The staff is incredible, the sites are level and beautifully landscaped. There is everything you need from a pool to a playground. A solid 5 stars and still working on improvements. We camped at Newberry / I-26 / Sumter NF KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
