This was our favorite KOA on our vacation. Great customer service. The swimming pool was so nice. Our space was perfect for a pull through night without disconnecting.

Newberry/I-26/Sumter NF KOA was just what we needed for traveling. A quick stop for the night, so the pull thru site was just what was needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was staying one night, everyone was very friendly. I was leaving early next morning before office open. But I would’ve appreciate that you would’ve sent me a message saying that you were going to charge me for backing into your fence which definitely was my fault but was surprised by the bill for the damage that you did not tell me before I left.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We understand your frustration. Because you entered the campground backwards, your rig needed to be turned around. You were asked to wait until staff could help you. You chose not to wait. You caused damage and admitted it. You asked how much you owed when it occurred. Why the surprise?

the road to the park was narrow and rough. The sights were not level but the campground was built on hilly area and attempts to overcome this was obvious. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The best thing was the park was located close to i-26 and other choices few and far between and that was its redeeming thing.

Apologies, but we cannot control the half-mile of state road leading to our campground. You requested and received a satellite-friendly site. Our sites are as level as possible, with a gravel base, as many other guests have mentioned in their reviews. We're sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay!

Quick overnight stay but everyone was so very nice. The pool and bath house were really really clean. Our grandsons had a ball in the pool.

Though small this campground will make a big impression on you. We arrived during very hot weather and got a shady pull through site. The hosts are super friendly and do everything to make your stay pleasant. The place is spotless and the pool is clean and inviting. Amenities are a bit of a drive away but they make pizza and delivery to your site! Don’t forget to go gnome hunting!

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Every effort is made from the staff to accommodate each guest making us feel welcomed and appreciated. Easy access from I-26. Kamp spots easy access. Text to incoming guests with fuel stop information. THANK YOU!

We stayed in the cabin. The staff were friendly and helpful. Campground was quiet and clean. Daytime visitors allowed without an extra charge. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the bathroom and there were plenty of towels. A pull out sofa provided an extra bed. Table and chairs on the porch provided a great place to eat. Best of all, we were able to stay in the cabin with our dogs!

People running this KOA are fabulous went above and beyond to get us in a tich early due to power outage at another KOA due to storms. They treat you well and so friendly. Will definitely stay there again on another adventure.

The entire staff at this location was among the friendliest we have ever met at an RV resort. They all made you feel welcome at their location. This goes a long way with us. The facilities were spotless, and the grounds were well-maintained. The sites had ample gravel and were leveled out. We typically pick a patio site; however, all the pull-through sites were acceptable.

The park is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The park hosts are efficient and take customer service to new highs! The park store was well stocked, and the pizza we purchased for supper was quite good. We will definitely stop here again!

We stayed overnight twice going to and coming from Tybee Island. The staff to be very friendly and professional on both occasions. After our fist visit, Susie called within 10 minutes of our departure to inform us that we had left a piece of equipment behind. We (and our dogs were welcomed on both visits. Campground was well maintained. Kitchen food was good as well. Will stay again in the future.

Stayed at several RV campgrounds this is the best campground we have stayed in. I would not change a thing. Salt water pool very clean well kept. Grounds were maintained . Pizza and wings were great. Plenty of activities for kids. Staff treated us like family. Loved the Gnome theme. We didn't find a reason to leave the campground and explore the surrounding area. We had everything we needed here.

This camp ground is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. We left something and they gave us a call and went through the trouble of sending it back! They went above and beyond expectations. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that kept them busy and happy! Thank you!

This is labeled as a KOA Journey but it should be a KOA Resort!!!It's right on the expressway so we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, but I could easily see families spending a weekend or even a week here. The staff is incredible, the sites are level and beautifully landscaped. There is everything you need from a pool to a playground. A solid 5 stars and still working on improvements. We camped at Newberry / I-26 / Sumter NF KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
