The campground was beautiful. Bath houses and restrooms were very well kept. Staff was friendly. Extremely peaceful, and not far from the city. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very friendly campground, everything worked great and the sites were nice. Liked the fence separating the sites. Everything was clean and in working order.

Above and beyond staff and service. Marty was there late to greet us. What a great first impression. Loved his sense of humor! The front desk staff was just AMAZING throughout our stay. Everyone is top notch and we were treated like family during our stay. Going to miss our morning chats with Jim. Such a wonderful guy; very helpful. This is a exceptional KOA!

Very wonderful experience with the staff here. There were threats of freezing cold temperatures and they filled up our propane tanks before we went to our site. We were very warm in our trailer. Thank you

Great experience from the moment we arrived. This was a stop over for us. And our 1st KOA. Friendly, clean, level and wonderful. Showers were amazing clean and lots of hot water! I can't say enough. It was all we needed, wanted and much more! They took lots of pride in the campground.

The check in process was great. Office staff friendly. The restrooms were clean. The place needs to get all the junk off the office porch. Looks very junky pulling into it, Could use gravel on our site as it was a mud hole when it rained one evening. Would be nice to have a few chairs or swing overlooking the little valley area to sit on in the evening as the site was muddy and the so dusty

Hey! Thanks for the insight. We generally do a great job of mitigating muddy areas, so we apologize if you experienced some mud on your site. That was a pretty heavy rain after a month long drought! The seating area at the edge of the field is a great idea.

we just stayed overnight. the only thing would be a sign at the service road to tell you there was a KOA campground on that road. i look for those yellow KOA signs.

Nicely quiet campers. Scenic. Nice neighbors in house. Access to tent sites 1 & 2 steep and quite rutted. My site stank of fish or ??. Too unlevel. Waaaay too far for tenters to hike to bathrooms. Water pipe also inconvenient for tenters. Some tents could be nearer to facilities since RVers have their own water supply and bathrooms.

Staff was very helpful and nice, clean place and well maintained. Only negative is it was right next to the interstate and I mean right next to it because we had cabin #1 right at the entrance and the traffic is very loud all night. If we come back we well stay in the back of the campgrounds because it was a more away from the interstate but other than that loved our stay.

Not enough 50 amp not enough sewer hook up office and staff are good

Hello there! Sorry to hear we didn't have your preferred site type available. We do have quite a few 50Amp and Full Hookup sites. October is the busiest camping month of the year, so we recommend booking in advance next time to ensure you get what you prefer.

Our truck was a little too far out into the roadway. When the staff called me I found them to be a bit rude. The sites are very small.

Hey! We're so sorry to hear that the staff was perceived as rude, that is never our intention. Your truck was parked quite a ways out in the road, despite having plenty of parking space on the site. We have to stay on top of these things so all guests have plenty of room to drive by.

Friendly staff. Very clean park. Easy access of the interstate. Showed you to your site, told you the water pressure. Sites are unlevel but doable. Would stay here again when in the area.

Great park. Pull through, full hookup gravel site was large enough for our 60 foot rig. Friendly staff. Nice store. Some shade. Don't follow gps directions. It will take you thru 5 miles of curvy very narrow residential roads. Take I40 exit for state route 109 and immediately turn on Safari Camp Road instead.
