We lived in our 24' RV at the Mt. Pleasant Journey KOA for 5 months while we were looking for permanent housing. The grounds are kept up beautifully. I especially appreciated the air conditioned showers and laundry room. There is almost always someone present to help you with whatever need you may have. It is quiet and we never had any issues with fellow campers. We even had a shade tree.

Friendly staff! Helped us find a spot for our tow vehicle when the pull-through sites were unavailable. Some highway noise early, but quieted down considerably overnight and we had a restful night.

The workers were about the most friendly that we've seen. The weather, however, did not cooperate with us and was cold, so we didn't get out to do much. We will have to try again soon.

Very friendly service. You can tell the owner takes great pride in keeping a beautiful campground. Bathrooms were immaculate!

This is the best KOA park we have stayed in to date. Amanda and her team really make you feel welcome! Clean restrooms and nice laundry facilities. Feels like you are in woods not town.

Appreciated the level concrete pads and mature trees throughout the park. Roads could use a little work. The managers, Jason and Amber, were very friendly and helpful. I didn't need it, but having propane service on site is great.

Wonderful overnight stay. Very clean property and friendly staff. BBQ and pizza meals that you can order to be delivered to your site was also wonderful. I would recommend to anyone that it is a great place to stay.

Tight back in site. Power and water on opposite side from standard. Quite area. Bath house was good.

We were a full house the night of your stay and only had a few small back ins at the front. Those are the only sites that some are setup that way. Thank you for the comment.

Very nice wished we would of had more time. Travelling through and only stayed 1 night. Sight was great.

This was one of the cleanest KOAs I've ever stayed in... The staff was very courteous and well informed... Great sights!!! All in all, very squared away!!!

Very nice KOA Journey. Spaces mostly all concrete and quite level. Didn't have to unhook. FHU w/cable, large grassy dog park, shaded tent sites, a walking trail around an aerated pond, and nice restrooms. Would definitely stay again.

The owners are absolutely wonderful!!! The park is in great shape and we would definitely stay there again when we are in the area!!

The folks who handle the office are all polite and helpful. They are friendly as we walk through the park, waving and saying hi. The only complaint is the folks who appear to be long term residents all speed through the park, disobeying the 5 mph speed limit. This throws a lot of dust during the dry season that we were there, not to mention the safety concern.

I had been anticipating the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse for almost 7 years. When I researched appropriate sites for the event, the owner of tis KOA was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Over about a year of correspondence, she kept our 4 groups informed, and reassured that we were going to be near each other, and gave us some tips for the Block Party that the town was throwing for the occasion. They have some very nice spots for campers and RVs, nice facilities, and a pretty big doggie play area (Kamp K9!) It was so nice to be welcomed to the camp by the owner when my big party trickled into town. I hope to return for more adventures soon!
