Very nice campground. Feels real "homey". Such a clean place. The staff are a lot of fun. I am altering future plans so I can stay here again.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, good atmosphere! The tent sites are a little small, but easily big enough for a medium size tent. The swimming pool was a great temperature, and we loved the little nature trail.

Jeanie, Lori, (Lisa?) are the reasons that we will stay when we are in the area again. We along with anyone that comes in contact with these ladies at this location are lucky and privileged to have such a great crew that have pride in what they do.

We had a wonderful weekend at the KOA. We enjoyed the numerous amenities from the pickleball court to the swimming pool and other yard games. We loved the complimentary hotdog and chili lunch and the daily popcorn. The campsite was well taken care of and the bathrooms were the cleanest we have seen when camping. Thanks!

Camp ground was clean, people were nice. My only thing would be, there should be more bathrooms/showers for the size of campground.

I got that the pool was broken, but that lady was rude about it. Come on, you could of been more customer service friendly. The campground is beautiful but bring back the friendly people. The lady with long white hair and the lady with shoulder length the younger one with funny name E were so sweet but the older lady needs a lesson on how to talk to people.

I wasnt able to stay because i reserve the wrong dates by mistake. I showed up and no reservation paper. I looked at what I reserved and I missed the date by one day.

Our camping spot was great. The pool and playground kept our kids happy. The bathrooms were clean and appeared well tended.

Kayla and Isaac were excellent hosts! They accommodated my daughter with a prosthetic leg to allow her to put a tent right by our 5th wheel! Very kind!

Fantastic place to stay! Clean, well kept, great for families or lonesome wonders. Quiet areas spread out through the campground and dedicated family fun activities.PG, court, gem mine.Close enough to the town for any items needed but still 2 miles away for peace and quiet. Tent areas along stream and local farms fields for the ultimate experience. Would definitely stay here again when we return.

We camped in a small tent, the tent area was very sandy and small with no grass or tent pad. The bathrooms are small but clean. This KOA is geared more towards RV’s with great facilities.

Nice spot, but services for tent/nonRV stays were minimal. No garbage cans nearby, water taps were set up for hoses, not water bottles, and there was no nearby toilet. A portapotty would help. Staff was very nice and there is plenty of play equipment for kids.

We had a great time. The setting for the campground is beautiful. You feel like you are up in the mountains. It was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The check in was easy and painless, the tent site was good. There was a lot of safety concerns regarding the pool and another open ground pit with rebar sticking out. Either one didn’t have fencing around it and was scary to think of a person or child fell into either. Also the website did t say anything about renovations, which I felt the price was skittle too high.

The service was good, absolutely nothing against the workers, let that be said. Our "deluxe tent site" was a dinky patch of yellow grass split in two. The site was an island surrounded by the road on all sides. The electric and water was good, but people kept coming and unplugging our extension cord in the middle of the night to noisly blow up their air mattresses. A truck parked on the site too.

Quiet beautiful park. It was almost empty. Stream and trees were nice. So much more for the money than all the other KOA Journeys we stayed in.

This is our second stay here. It's peaceful and pretty quiet for a campground. The facilities are good. We typically only are sleeping there as we go to Bear Lake to play during the day, but our kids did enjoy playing some tetherball and basketball after dinner or in the morning before we leave. So, for a camping spot close to Bear Lake, it's perfect for our needs.

I was tent camping. The first tent site T6 had animal feces and many ants just not cleaned. The 2nd tent site T1 was just okay, not groomed. sticker bushes and matted dead vegetation. The bathrooms need cleaning also, and TP. I stayed at this KOA 8 or 10 years ago it was nice.

Very sad that the pool is not available - that was the big draw to stay there. Bathrooms were not very clean. Looks like the new owners are changing things and have pull up all the trees by the tent areas, kind of a mess and the shade will be missed. There will be very few tent areas that will have shade.

The first day we got there was a Wednesday the campsite had a thorn bushes (Big ones) it was a dirt camp site which is fine but they could have removed the thorn bushes so your not stepping on them. No ice to buy till friday bathrooms were dirty no toilet paper, garbage piled up in the washroom for two days, ice hockey game had very little air for the puck the pool table and other games were warp

This is by FAR the nicest KOA we've ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean. Super friendly staff. Lovely spaces with room to move, picnic tables, trees and grass. Super quiet. We feel like we stumbled upon a treasure here.

There may be a nicer KOA out there but we've never found it! This KOA is absolutely perfect and made us regret having to leave. It also makes us wish to return. The sites, the bathroom/showers, the nature trail, the staff - it is simply perfect. In addition, the town of Montpelier is full of nice people and has the Oregon/California Trai site to view and it's wonderful

We came here one week after they opened for the season and had the whole place to ourselves ! Super nice couple that seems to tend to the place and they do a great job everything was very clean and looked like bathrooms mind be renovated. Was able to do a load of laundry while sitting around the fire with a beer :) Had cute little shop to get things if you forgot anything . There is some vicious mosquitoes by the water so bring that bug spray and you'll be good to go .
