Hosts were wonderful. The bathrooms were the best in our entire trip. It was so quiet. We had a great rest. Highly recommended.

The stream was beautiful that ran through the property. We had ample room for our class c & tow vehicle. Bathrooms were clean & store was nice. I would stay there again.

Trash in empty sites had obviously been there for a long time. Overflowing trash and sanitary napkin disposal containers in the bathroom. Tent sites are not wood chips but primarily dirt. Landscaping is dry weeds. We paid extra to reserve grass tent site but none were available when we arrived at 4 pm. The staff hadn't recognized that they had not checked out yet! Lousy experience.

Upon checkin, was informed the power was not working at the site I had booked (premium site). The Pool was closed for some reason in the middle of summer! Restrooms were not being cleaned regularly or even daily. No Ice available. Many Trees recently cut down. The place looked a Mess! Price was charged to reflect premium amenities, but were not provided. I would not stay here again!

The staff was helpful and friendly. The camp was quite. The only complaint I have - the shower I used everyday had the same cigarette butt, so not sure they were cleaned.

We enjoyed our visit and would stay again. It's located off Hwy89 and is very quiet with currently minimal traffic on 89. It's being renovated and the new owners are working to update it and plan to add more campsites. As others have said, the pool is closed and not usable at this time but I do hope they get it repaired and back in operation. Overall, a nice place to visit!

Small, clean, peacefully quiet facility. Clean bathroom/shower facility. Friendly, helpful, young staff trying hard to make improvements after previous owners ran it down. Most spaces are very close, with level gravel roads and spaces. Pool is beyond economical repair.

I enjoyed my campsite right on the river. The view was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly; however, the ladies room was filthy. Several teenaged girls were hanging out there, sitting on the counters. Though I had been looking forward to it, I declined to take a shower due to the conditions. I would have stayed another night if the place was cleaner.

Office staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a quick night stay for us - no frills. This is a basic campground with clean bathrooms and a cute little trail that runs by the creek. We did enjoy our creekside spot. Very quiet campground.

Laundry and bathrooms were dirty. Garbage was overflowing everywhere. No staff in sight Sunday when we arrived. Office was closed all day Sunday. Office opened Monday at noon, but staff was only there sporadically. Pool was closed for repairs. Sites were good. We seldom saw any KOA staff personal. It seems like this KOA was undergoing renovation and updating.

Love staying here. This year disappointing that the pool was closed, didn't find out until after checked in. Front desk didn't even mention it while I was checking in.

We were a group of 6, 2 camper sites and one cabin. We have stayed there before and loved it. This time was terrible and we will not be back. From the pool being closed, to the most disgusting bathrooms which went uncleaned for two days, the store closed on Sunday, AC not working properly in the cabin, to the power not working at one campsite. I have photos and want follow up from management.

This park is going to be a great place to stay, the new owners are working hard to get it into shape, cleaning up and expanding to add new sites. There is a nature trail that runs along a stream. The pool is currently being repaired so it was unavailable. It is a very nice place to stay already, hopefully the new owners will make it great.

Very nice park. The new owners are keeping it clean and picked up. The pool was closed for repairs but there is Bear lake close, so not a negative at all. Kids had fun with the many games available.

I stayed here on July 5th. I'm assuming that it must have been an incredibly busy July 4th weekend but the campgrounds needed some work. 1. Trash was overflowing out of the dumpster and nowhere else to put my trash. 2. It had been a while since the grass was mowed. 3. The pool being unusable was a real bummer. This did not feel like a KOA campground. The landscaping needs some work, the pool isn’t open and there were a lot of yellow jackets around our campsite. The price is comparable to other KOA’s with few of the nice amenities most of the parks have. I feel price is a little high for what they offer.

What a dump. Photos are deceiving and out of date. Some look like another KOA. This is the worst KOA we have ever stayed in and the first I have ever written a review for. No maintenance. wish I could post current photos of swimming pool (probably closed forever), hiking trail (over grown and short walk), dog park (out of the rv park, by the road in a ditch and unkempt), Go to the lake to stay.

The only problem we had was one of the toilets in men's restroom was out of service the whole time. One other thing was the kids jumping from roof to roof of the playground houses. Glad they held up.

Park is in need of TLC. Office was only open 2 of the 5 days we were there. No dogs on leashes, just running loose. Kids were destroying the playground items, using pool que sticks for walking sticks and swords. Setting was nice, just needs some attention getting it a nicer place to stay. I stay almost exclusively at KOA's, this one was probably towards the bottom of the rating scale.

My husband and I stayed at KOA Montpelier Creek ID the evening of 7-7-22. I feel it is important that this campground was not up to the KOA standards that we are used to seeing. The office was closed they were home sick. The grounds were neglected. The bathroom/showers, sinks and counter tops were dirty. Trash containers stuffed full and overflowing. Not acceptable for a public campground.

Check-in was easy and our site was nice. The play park was really just swings and toddler playhouses. The bathrooms were ok, but relative to other koas the cleanliness was lacking.

We loved this place till now.This last stay was horrible.The bathrooms were really dirty. We had 2 spot lights on our camp all night every night from a neighbor camper, when we asked them to turn them off they told us no. There was no one in the office to help. The clean up of the camp looks nice and we'd love to return, but for now we won't

Terrible night! Kids trying to pass our campside with quads. Nobody from the staff cares about this. Two beach buggys with ligthshow did a permanent Campground parade. Our wish to change the campside to a cheaper and quiet place was ignored. No place for camping in great nature! A place for party people in muscle cars

What a beautiful setting! It is soooo peaceful to be there. Wow! It looks like the new owners are working super hard to improve the site! The managers are super friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Montpellier for a softball tournament this past weekend and the staff here was beyond helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to find us a site even though they were almost fully booked. Everything about our stay here went off without a hitch. The campground is on the smaller side but they sure fit as much in the area they have to work with as they can. Everything was extremely clean and the pool was fabulous. We will definitely be back!

Here for softball tournament and the people who work and run this place are very nice and helpful. Lots for kids to do and pet friendly. Very happy with our choice this year to come here!
