It was delightful. Easy to get into as I checked in after hours. Lovely spot for my tent. Clean and quiet..Kayla was great answering my questions and just being delightful. I look forward to another visit.

Real tight to get into the campground off the main road with a 40 ft Class A Towing. We were able to get in and move through the park but it is narrow in spots. Campground was nice we did not use any of the facilities we only stayed one night.

The actual campsite was one of the worst we stayed in during our two months of travel. And the upsetting part was the price. It was the most expensive of all the FV parks. $86 for a crappy site. We won’t be staying in a KOA again, and membership is not worth it.

The pool was a hit, my kids were too big for the kiddie playground but enjoyed playing basketball and pickleball . We stayed in a cabin by the creek and it was perfect. For as busy as the place was the bathrooms were well maintained .

This is our third year staying at a KOA and it’s always a great experience. The Montpelier ID KOA is always clean and well kept. We really enjoy staying there and will continue to do so in the future.

Our camping spot was great. The pool and playground kept our kids happy. The bathrooms were clean and appeared well tended.

Had a reservation but when we arrived there wasn’t a reserved site to accommodate our length of trailer. After 2 attempted sites we found a site that would work. Very nice facilities but very small campground with tight turns and limited sites for larger trailers.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the Montpelier KOA. We stayed in Garden City last year and much preferred the cleanliness and spaciousness of Montpelier. We will certainly come back!

Kayla and Isaac were excellent hosts! They accommodated my daughter with a prosthetic leg to allow her to put a tent right by our 5th wheel! Very kind!

Everything about our stay in July 2024 was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids in our party had a great time with all the available activities. The adults were able to relax in the beautiful environment.

The cabin was dirty, I had to sweep the floor when I arrived because there was so much dog hair and rocks and dirt on the floor. Also, there was zero staff at the campground from when I arrived (4pm) to when I left at 830am.

The staff running the campground is super friendly and accommodating. The only thing that would have been better would have been if my spot had a sewer hookup.

We love to stay here. Love the stream near by and the new pool. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer! Only reason it isn’t a 10 is that we don’t want the word getting out and it getting even busier.

We love the Montpelier koa. It’s off the beaten path and the river is calming. We did have several spiders in our cabin this year and the screens were coming out so windows were letting in all the mosquitoes and flys. Other than that it was wonderful.

Fantastic place to stay! Clean, well kept, great for families or lonesome wonders. Quiet areas spread out through the campground and dedicated family fun activities.PG, court, gem mine.Close enough to the town for any items needed but still 2 miles away for peace and quiet. Tent areas along stream and local farms fields for the ultimate experience. Would definitely stay here again when we return.

Good location. Clean and roomy restrooms (could use some coat hooks on the walls, and paper towels would be appreciated). See the National Oregon/California Trail Museum in town! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

We were there for 7 days. Fairly quiet. Our only issue was campsite etiquette. Kids and adults constantly walking right through our site.

It was just OK The grounds are aging in need of updating, painting. The grass was dry and dead. We were charged $44 to put a tent in the dirt which we thought was way excessive. On the plus side, the pool was clean and inviting.

Host are very helpful and friendly. Very clean. thanks for letting us check in a little early. the pool is very nice. Just needs a common area to do any dishes you have. will defiantly go back

Great KOA. New pool is awesome. Very quiet at night. Fire rings do need to be replaced.

This is by FAR the nicest KOA we've ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean. Super friendly staff. Lovely spaces with room to move, picnic tables, trees and grass. Super quiet. We feel like we stumbled upon a treasure here.

There may be a nicer KOA out there but we've never found it! This KOA is absolutely perfect and made us regret having to leave. It also makes us wish to return. The sites, the bathroom/showers, the nature trail, the staff - it is simply perfect. In addition, the town of Montpelier is full of nice people and has the Oregon/California Trai site to view and it's wonderful

We came here one week after they opened for the season and had the whole place to ourselves ! Super nice couple that seems to tend to the place and they do a great job everything was very clean and looked like bathrooms mind be renovated. Was able to do a load of laundry while sitting around the fire with a beer :) Had cute little shop to get things if you forgot anything . There is some vicious mosquitoes by the water so bring that bug spray and you'll be good to go .
