The check in was easy and painless, the tent site was good. There was a lot of safety concerns regarding the pool and another open ground pit with rebar sticking out. Either one didn’t have fencing around it and was scary to think of a person or child fell into either. Also the website did t say anything about renovations, which I felt the price was skittle too high.

Montpelier Journey KOA was conveniently located on the highway between I84 and I80 for us. We need a place to stop overnight after a long day's travel. The camp was vacant except for one other traveler the day we stayed. It is a camp still being constructed, however we saw it as clean, well equipped, and on par with all other KOAs at which we have stayed. We will no doubt stay there again.

The Hosts were absolutely great. They are the reason for a 4 not 3. The campground is undergoing a lot of cleanup, repair, renovation but you can see the desire to get it right and the work done is great (bath/laundry). We were the first campers this season, so there's those issues as well - opening day stuff. The road damage/fix from installing a new pool should get fixed first!!

Kaila very sweet person, very friendly. I would give them 5 stars but, they are in construction of their pool and grounds. It’s going to be a really nice park! We look forward to return to see what everything looks like when trees are in bloom and the pool is complete. We arrived on opening of their park and it was nice because very few campers there, nice & quiet. They have a lot of work to do

forth time staying there second time in deluxe cabin. New owners and young couple mangers, lots of improvements on the grounds. Much more needed Pool ETC. Stay 2 weeks and hot water heaters in both deluxe cabins need replacing, Ice cold to really hot. After Maintenace tried to adjust it was luke warm at best. Had to boil water to do dishes.

Cabin we stayed was so filthy, few bulbs were burn out, thousand of dead flies by the windows, plug for the bathtub couldn’t shut all the way .. my grandkids couldn’t able to take a bath!! Grill was so filthy greasy, there is not enough kitchen supplies enough for 4 people ! Coffee maker was dirty. The floor never been mopped .. The playground was so messy and broken. Not the best campground we've ever stayed at. What we liked; the creek running through the campground was nice and the fishing was good. What we didn't like; the bathrooms never got cleaned or trash emptied in the 4 days we were there...even after complaining to the camp host. Also, the sites were small and there was considerable road noise from the highway.

Beautiful evening. Front desk person was delightful. Restrooms were super clean. Campsite had level gravel for our rooftop tent. Our 4th night to stay at different KOA's. This was our favorite of the 4. The other three were in Wyoming and Montana. Our campsite backed up to a creek.

Campground is great. We got the same spot we had last year, which was a bit comical. The only improvement that could be made is general cleanup around the area. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean.

This is a nice small campground and the staff are pleasant. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The nature hike was really fun and good exercise for the dogs.

There have been many upgrades. So many fun things for kids to do, fishing, a park, basketball, pickle ball and a pool. The service was amazing!
