Unhappy with the bath house. All doors were locked and not being used except one for the location of the park that I was staying. The shower tiles were very dirty. It was okay just for an overnight stay only.

Hello and thank you for the review. We do have 4 finished, open and working showers. As I explain to everyone during check-in The new shower house has two new open bathrooms, with blue doors. The other two are located on the map by the laundry. Our bathrooms are cleaned very well twice daily.

Over night stay on the way to South Carolina Hard spot to get to from I-85 at night would be better to arrive in daylight

We have had trouble with the mapping systems that send our guests to exit 16 instead of exit 11. We have been in contact with Google and Garmin for quite a while. They have yet to correct the directions issues. The street, signs and entrance are well lit. We will continue to work on this. Gary S. GM

nice, quiet park, easy on/off the highway. We booked 1 night on the way to our destination, & 1 night on the way back. Due to storms & flooding ahead, we could not make it to our next two camp spots as planned. Gary was able to adjust things and allow us to stay in our site two extra nights. He and all the staff we encountered were great. They said, no matter what, they'd take care us, & they did.

Easy access to sites even with a late arrival. Great heads-up via email on the approach from the East off I-85 with the sharp turn onto the property where it was very easy to turn onto the property from the West using exit 11 rather than exit 16.

My wife Fredrika loves to hear guests enjoying her Community Center. She is in the at least twice a day 7 days a week watering plants, refilling coffee, tea and cocoa supplies. She also takes great care of the fountain, her favorite part. Gary S.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Clean. Everything we used functioned properly. Really enjoyed the Keurig machine and AC in the well-appointed clubhouse. Thank you for having Macha tea Keurig pods!!

We called for an overnight stay along our route and knew we would be arriving late, when I called to inquire I was cheerfully greeted on the phone and explained their process. When arrived we were pleasantly surprised how easy and accurate every detail was perfectly as described, flawless experience. Thank you.

Nice overnight stay..BUT. getting there can be difficult. Get off at exit 11 on rte 85.. go left at bottom of exit ramp.. No matter what your Garmin, google map or whatever tells you.. you'll turn right after a short jaunt after the left at bottom of ramp..

I understand this is a Journey KOA and it filled the need we had meaning we were just looking for a place to sleep for the night. It was slightly disappointing that for $65/night there was not much offered, especially when we just left an awesome KOA in another state for $50/night. Zen room was ok, but geared more towards adults. No playground despite being advertised. Kids were disappointed.

Our community center is geared towards adults, which is an important factor. We have an area for kids down at our fitness/game center which we are adding more to every week. Unfortunately our playground was destroyed in a recent storm and is being replaced asap. Thank you for your review.

Nice place to stay to get off the road. Right off I-85 easy off and easy on. Manager and wife were very according. We had a pull thru site and stayed in a 5th wheel - 37 feet long. We would definitely stop in again.

We were parked in a overnight pull thru L1, during eating outside smelled a sewer odor, went to the other side of the camper to find large overflow of septic tank fluid, called the office they said sorry would give us a discount never received it, also 30 amp didnt work had to use 50 amp, bathrooms ok, long walk from L1

Very sorry about the sewer smell. Every season a huge string of storms will cause some septics to overflow. We called immediately and had it pumped. I did forget your discount and have made good as of this morning. The fifty amp issue has also been remedied. We do take all complaints seriously.

If you need a quick overnight stay , this is a good place to do it. The site were level, there was a nice walking trail. They offer a 24/7 community room with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The owners were friendly and the campground was close to the interstate. Very important to follow their directions to the campground , if you take the wrong exit it would be impossible to turn into the KOA

Hard to believe this was a KOA. The buildings are very run down & in need of maintenance. The office building is missing boards on the outside & the insulation is exposed. The playground doesn’t exist. There’s no pool. There are piles of trash metal & boards on the property as well as a burned up trailer.

Thank you for your review. We are sad that our playground was destroyed in a recent storm, two tornadoes just missed us. We are in the process of replacing it. We are always working on improvements. Being a fairly new KOA we have a few years to build our franchise to meet their standards. Gary S.

Wonderful owners that are making some much needed changes to an older campground. Extended a few days due to weather, no issues whatsoever. Definitely would stay again if in area!

Check in was easy and host was extremely friendly and accommodating during unusual rain storm. Grounds appeared to be clean, defined and we didn’t hesitate to park our class a with a tow during the storm We weren’t able to visit facilities due to the weather but we could tell they were making considerable improvements. Look forward to stopping again and seeing the changes.

This is my 2nd time overnighting at this KOA. Very reasonably priced, easy to get to, check in and park. Many improvements since last year when new owners started. No pool. Again perfect for an overnight.
