And overnight stay on route to final destination. Customer service was good. Guided to site. Only hooking up to electric I found it odd the post was at the very end of the site. Grass was very tall everywhere especially in the small dog park I had intended to use but didn't bc of the grass.. easy access in/out. The price was right for a stop over

Would definitely stay here again. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Campground is clean and well maintained. Highly recommended it if you are staying in Montgomery.

I was not pleased with our site. It was literally a pull-over 40 foot spot off the campground drive onto a non level site. It took 4 inches of blocks to level our 32 class A and the picnic table was almost on the driveway. I understand weekenders and multi night stays take priority over one nighters but just seemed this was an afterthought to make quick low cost site. Just a little disappointed.

Thank you for your review. Those five sites are sought after because there's no neighbors on either side. I moved you from E5 a smaller site because F7 was open. The table was in the dbl-wide site at the edge of the grass because the cutting crew just left and it didnt get moved over. I do apologize

Thank you both for being so helpful in getting our campsite last minute. We loved that it was off the beaten path but so very close to the interstate and all the restaurants. We were only 3.5 miles from the Softball tournament ! We told the other parents that were there looking for a place about y'all. If we ever have another tournament in Montgomery, we will definitely stay with yall.

Owner was super cool and got us in. During our SEBDR the weather flip on us we were soaking wet and he made accommodations for us. Much appreciated and very grateful.

Bathrooms were pretty nice. We had some rain before and during the night. It was a little wet. No pool, but we only stayed overnight.

The hosts took great pride in the grounds. They were very helpful. They have continued plans for adding more amenities. We were in one of the first sites and it was perfect . We will stay again

Nothing to write home about. Needed to be mowed.

Thank you for your review. We mow weekly so right after it is mowed it looks its best. Unfortunately the Bahaia grass can grow a foot in a cpl days making it look unkept. We will continue to do our best. Have a great and safe trip.

Site was more than adequate, host was very courteous and helpful. Restrooms and showers was clean. Camp store had the bare minimum and was being updated for a larger selection. Good stop.

It was fine for a one night stay. A little difficult to get to but worth it since it put you far enough off the highway to avoid that noise.

Public road to the entrance is narrow without shoulders and not well marked. Entrance is down a steep incline and onto a narrow road into park. We reserved a premium 65ft pull through , that turned out to be parallel parking between other Rv’s along a grass field. Just not what I expected. Plugged in to power only, stayed the night. Didn’t use or look at the rest amenities.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our entrance has been the subject of more than a few discussions. It was widened but as a federal culvert we are limited to what changes we can make to the property at the state hwy level. Rest assured we have a few hundred guests a week that manage it well. We will continue to keep it in our scope.

A very pleasant place to stay while driving past Montgomery. Gary, the GM is an extremely nice guy and goes out of his way to assist campers, he is greatly appreciated. Small but very clean and well lighted at night dog Park. Very nice dirt road around the entire park for walking the dog after a long day. Easy on and off I-85 in either direction and a huge variety of restaurants near by.

We had an unexpected hospital emergency with our dog and needed to stay another day, called to book another day. Host (Gary ) said take care of your dog and we can finalize everything later!�ϋ��ϋ� very kind host!

It was nice very easy to set up and location of of the lot was good very peaceful i have one draw back which is the wifi service it has to do better even logged into the campgrounds wifi it was poor as well very poor. Have to do better on that

Thank you for the review. We have been working with Spectrum on our wi-fi for almost two years now. I am glad to say we have not had a wi-fi complaint in many months. I will follow up as I always do whenever we have issues like this. Safe travels!

Gary and Fredrica are the Kindest camp hosts, they treated us like family from the first day.They were always so accommodating to our needs and took time to stop and say hello to us and ask us how we're doing. Gary was always quick to resolve any issues we had. Glen kept the bath houses very clean. The campground is quiet, a perfect getaway or quick overnight stop. We recommend this campground!

Campground is showing age , no cable at site only at community building, gravel road and site. Will not stay there again. Other park in area seem better. Taking advantage of KOA moniker.

Thank you for your review. Our sites are all equipped with cable. We explained at check-in Spectrum requires guests use a cable box available w/o charge in the office. We are a new KOA in the middle of expansion and are given 5 years to build out their brand. Still a clean, quiet and safe KOA.

We live nearby and just needed to exercise our RV for the weekend. Staff was very helpful and polite. Spot was clean and easily accessible. Not many amenities, but the bath houses were very clean. Water hook-ups could definitely use an upgrade.

Unhappy with the bath house. All doors were locked and not being used except one for the location of the park that I was staying. The shower tiles were very dirty. It was okay just for an overnight stay only.

Hello and thank you for the review. We do have 4 finished, open and working showers. As I explain to everyone during check-in The new shower house has two new open bathrooms, with blue doors. The other two are located on the map by the laundry. Our bathrooms are cleaned very well twice daily.

Over night stay on the way to South Carolina Hard spot to get to from I-85 at night would be better to arrive in daylight

We have had trouble with the mapping systems that send our guests to exit 16 instead of exit 11. We have been in contact with Google and Garmin for quite a while. They have yet to correct the directions issues. The street, signs and entrance are well lit. We will continue to work on this. Gary S. GM

Montgomery KOA have made several improvements in the last year including a new bath house and new RV sites.

We have stayed a few times. Very convenient for an overnight stop. No frills but no co.plaints
