It rained and we were surrounded by a lake delaying our departure by a day because we couldn't get to our connections to unhook due to about 5 inches of rain and mud. They need to address the drainage issue and add amenities to fit the high price of $60 per night or lower the price to fit what is offered.

Martie was wonderful!!! Greeted us gave us info about surrounding stores. Very friendly and helpful. They are working hard to improve the campground..It was easy to access off 65 too!!!

Montgomery KOA is in an upgrade process so services are not up to my standards but they are below average. The WIFI must be repaired. At this point it was very spotty at best. The restrooms/showers were clean but are old and in need of repair. The grounds/sites have definitely been reworked and that is a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Grease the windmill.

We pulled into park after pouring rain most of day. Most of sites were covered with large puddles. They did work hard to find us site with least amount of puddles. We were unable to check out much of park as it rained into night. Guess park is newer & in morning I took short walk & seemed like they are working in a lot of areas & plan make some good improvements to park.

Very nice people proving great service; however, there are serious issues with infrastructure. Water was not working when we arrived (but was fixed quickly, so quite minor).No working WiFi for our entire stay. This apparently is a long term issue as it’s printed on the camp guide. Working WiFi is essential for many campers. I do not mean the WiFi was slow, there was zero internet connection.

A great campsite in the making. Staff friendly. Wifi and cable unusable. Verizon phone wifi worked at end of campsite exit only. Clean, level gravel site. 2 stall unisex bathroom clean and temperature controlled. Best thing I can say about this KOA is its location. You can get anywhere with ease. Also very quiet despite being near highway. New bathroom being built. Realize it's a KOAjourney.

Very nice stay. Only thing we might have wanted was a fire ring at our campsite. Other sites had rings, but ours didn’t.

This campground is in it's infancy. It needs some more work on the sites and grounds. The angle of approach and departure from the road into the campground is steep. The sites are rock and narrow. If it was wet, we would have gotten stuck pulling in or out because you must drive over the newly planted grass. The sewer hookup was too far back for us to connect with the 2 sections of sewer hose.

It was a quick stay just needed a spot for the night it wasn’t crowded very quiet and the campground itself was put together very well easy in easy out no problems

There needs to be a bit more work done to complete the camping sites. Drainage is needed to reduce the mud and more rock to stabilize the parking so equipment doesn’t sink so far down in the mud. You can see the progress, just want them to keep up the good work.

Grounds were decent, staff was friendly. The site we were placed at was a good size and level. However, after the rainfall our site turned into a muddy lake of standing water that was difficult to navigate around.

We arrived sick and only got worse, had to stay another day. Marty checked on us and brought supplies to our trailer since we were to weak to go out. Very thoughtful

We had reservations at another KOA in Lilian but due to weather rerouted to Montgomery. The receptionist was very welcoming. It was already dark when we arrived. Next morning we realized that this was a new facility in the building process. There were no restrooms or showers, which was disappointing but we were only passing through to FL. I think this will be a nice facility when complete.

We enjoy the convenience of this KOA during our travels on I-85. Been staying at this location since they opened. Sometimes we have wifi problems there as we did this time. Stayed in a new site - E13. We could sign on to the wifi but the signal was not strong enough to download basic email. The signal maybe weak at that end of the park or someone was hogging the wifi with a streaming process!

Just fine …. Will be HOT in the summer cuz NO trees but it was just fine for our overnight. Clean, nice people and safe.

This was a nice stop for the night. Our spot was easy to setup in. Nice and clean. I see that they are in the process of creating more there.

My partner and I were only supposed to be in Montgomery for a night but ended up staying for three! Sue made it so easy to extend our stay! She was also always polite, accommodating, and helpful when our rig got stuck! She gave us time to figure out the issue before leaving! Highly recommend this KOA!

Wifi wasn't that great and the cable required that you have your own Spectrum cable box. Otherwise, it's a Journey so it is great for a overnight stop.

When traveling west it is impossible for a large rig to turn onto Travel Trail. We went past the entrance and turned around to come back to the road. It would be nice for their website to give instructions and directions to do such. Should you drop your rig off the road it would be all over for the rig. But it is better than in 2022 but still needs to be widened for big rigs.

nice stay; got laundry done; plenty of places to walk the dog. Tracy was wonderful and I've made a new friend. She took the time to show me several possible sites. I enjoyed our conversations. Other staff, whose names I didn't get, were working hard to keep the place maintained. Thanks very much.

Nice KOA for a stop over before we continued on our trip. Easy to locate fast access to freeway. Lots of updates coming to this location. Will be nice to see such a big space expand to something beautiful!

This KOA is great! The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. It is quiet for being close to the busy road & close to everything! They are working hard on getting it remodeled. I would stay here again. The price is right. Can't wait to see it in a couple years.
