  2. Carousel for Missoula (and Dragon Hollow): Located in downtown Missoula, you will find a fully hand-carved carousel. This carousel is made up of 38 horses and two chariots. It was built by hundreds of volunteers and has been around in the United States since the Great Depression. It offers easy access for wheelchairs, and people with disabilities can ride it for free. Right next to it is an incredible playground called Dragon Hollow, offering hours of entertainment. 
  3. Out to Lunch in Caras Park: An outdoor activity you will not want to miss out on in Montana is Out to Lunch in Caras Park. Situated right in the heart of Missoula, this event features live music and food trucks.   4. First Friday in Downtown Missoula: On the first Friday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., head over to the First Friday in Downtown Missoula. Saturday Markets in Downtown Missoula: Every Saturday, May to October, Missoula comes alive with 3 fantastic markets The Clark Fork River Market - a unique opportunity to find fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, dairy, plants, flowers, and many other fresh handmade wares from local farmers. The Missoula Farmer’s Market - Missoula’s original farmers’ market; a gathering of food and friends since 1972. Farmer’s market has fresh produce, nursery plants, flowers, eggs, bread, jams, and jellies. Enjoy local baked goods while you stroll. The third market Saturdays in Missoula is the People’s Market - an arts and crafts market run by local and regional artists. All markets are right in downtown Missoula.
