Missoula KOA Holiday Does Not Have EV Charging Capabilities

TRADITIONAL RV

ELECTRICAL PEDESTAL

Not for EV Charging

We want you to have a great time while you’re camping with us—and that includes taking care of your electric vehicle (EV).

KOA knows campers need EV charging solutions, but unfortunately not all of our campgrounds are set up with EV charging capabilities yet. Electric vehicles require constant electricity flow to charge their batteries over several hours. Most of our campground electrical pedestals and plugins are not designed to offer constant electrical charging, and plugging in your EV can cause permanent damage.

Plugging your EV on a traditional 30- 50-amp campground pedestal could permanently damage your vehicle and the campground’s electrical system.

EV CHARGING UNIT

Designed for EV Charging

Plus RV Electrical Usage

If a converter was provided by your auto manufacturer, it does not change the way electricity flows within the campground’s electrical infrastructure and should not be used to connect your EV to our campground pedestals.

We are working on solutions for the future, but for now please ask our KOA front desk staff what options are available to you on or near the campground.

Thank you for your patience as we work to bring electric vehicle charging infrastructure to our campgrounds.
