***If using GPS or Internet mapping like Garmin, MapQuest, or Google Maps, to find the Missoula KOA campground, turn it off when nearing Missoula on I-90 and follow the directions below. (GPS and Internet direction mapping is incorrect for the best way to get to Missoula KOA). Not following these directions could lead you into some road closures!!
From Interstate 90, take Exit 101:
At Reserve Street light off the exit Go (South) drive 1.5 Miles merge into right lane. Turn right (West) at the light onto England Blvd, (Famous Footwear will be to the right; Costco will be to the left of the intersection). Drive 1/10 mile, Turn right (North) onto Tina Ave; follow Tina to KOA Office 1/10 mile.
DO NOT ENTER FROM ENTRANCE ON BROADWAY!!
From HWY 93 North of Missoula:
Merge onto I90 at HWY 93 and drive East (6 miles) until you reach Exit 101 and follow directions above.
Alternate route from I90 West/HWY 93 North:
Missoula Airport/Broadway, look for the David J. Thatcher VA Clinic on your right. Turn right at the light onto Mary Jane Blvd, go 6/10th mile to England Blvd and turn left. Follow England Blvd through the traffic circle staying to the right for 2/10th mile and turn left onto Tina Ave. Follow the signs to the KOA Office.
From HWY 93 & 12 South of Missoula:
Turn Left (North) onto Reserve Street at the stop light. Go 4 miles north on Reserve Street merging into the left lane. Turn left (West) at the light onto England Blvd, (Lowes will be on the right; Arby's will be on the left of the intersection). Drive 1/10 mile Turn right (North) onto Tina Ave follow Tina to KOA office 1/10 mile.
Missoula KOA is open for camping year round with limited services in the off season and winter months. (September to May)
• Water throughout the campground at camp sites is shut off Mid October. Water if needed will be available at a frost free faucet that is NOT located on your site. Water will be turned on again mid to late April as weather permits.
• The restrooms available in the off season are very limited. The Unisex restrooms behind the Fun Center will be the only restrooms available. More restrooms will reopen in the spring.
• Our office in the winter months is open five days a week Tuesday-Saturday, Closed on Sundays & Mondays. We have limited staff available on site after hours to help with late check-ins and questions. Text number available at our night registration desk. Coin laundry is available. Holiday closures and some differences in office hours during holidays are expected, please call our office if you have questions. Please leave a message if no one is available to answer the phone. Messages are checked.
• All Reservations must be made in advance for Sunday and Monday arrivals. No Same day reservations or Walk-ins available for Sunday and Monday.
• Our Long-Term sites do have water available through-out the winter. Long-Term winter camping guests will have to heat tape their lines to keep them from freezing. See Long-Term Blog.
