I stayed at a tent site. I got there after the office was closed and my envelope was ready to go and very easy to follow the instructions. The bathroom was very clean and neat so I always appreciate that. Very well organized. Thank you!

Thw Gold Hill KOA, it's actually in Gold Hill, Oregon is a great KOA. It is located very close to Highway 5 so one will hear traffic 24/7. The facilities were clean and well maintained and I will stay again. Thank you.

KOA Gold Hill is a great place for an overnight on my drives between Portland and the Bay Area/Sacramento area. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean bathrooms. For longer stays it would’ve be choice (road noise; being the only car/tent camper among all the RVs; lack of hiking/walking trails adjacent to the campground) but it’s great for what it does offer.

Great and friendly staff! However, the campground was very bare, and campsites (tent sleeping) is difficult due to the bright lights from the restroom. My husband and I had to leave and find somewhere better to sleep.

I had the bad luck of tent-camping in 100+ degree heat, but I managed to make it work. At registration the kind staff person let me switch to another vacant site with more shade. AC in the restroom and free showers also helped!

The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She said if there was anything that we needed to call that number she gave us.

a great time, hospitable staff. The only thing is that the tent sites are pretty close together. We will likely return when we have relatives out of town visiting again!

Quite expensive for a tent site with no hook ups.

It was really great. Only suggestion is perhaps have a grate on the fire pit for cooking.

That KOA is just 100 yards from the highway I-5. Absolutely miserable traffic noise.

The amenities were very nice, including the outdoor dishwashing sink and the outdoor pool. However, the closing hours were VERY early!

We stayed at this KOA for one week as we make our way up to Washington. Our site was nice in that we got some privacy to our left (we were in site 8). We also got some nice shade from the trees. Our neighbors to our right would usually be there for one night only. Seems to be just a "passing through" park, which makes sense since it's right off the 5 freeway. The roads were all ashpalt so it was easy to keep our truck clean. One of the very few complaints we have was the size of the park itself. We like to take our dog on long walks, and we had to get creative in finding walks long enough around the park for our dog. We eventually figured out a routine. In sizing up this park compared to others we've stayed at, this one is right up there. We would definitely stay again if passing through and we need a place to rest. We made frequent trips to Medford for supplies and necessary amenities.

I stayed here this month on a tent site and a few days in a cabin. The tent sites are very tight, with my tent set up there wasn't much more room. However, there were very few campers there during my stay, so it wasn't bad. The cabin was comfortable and clean and the larger bed was comfortable. The mini fridge was a nice add. During my time in the tent, the bathroom was very clean, mainly because it got very little use. During my time in the cabin, it was a little more crowded in the KOA and the bathroom got more use, but still a great facility with a secure door. Security: I was worried about the homeless situation during my visit. At this KOA, there is a cadre of dudes who patrol the grounds on golf carts all. day. long. I had great confidence that I was safe my stuff was secure. Finally, the convenience of being near the interstate is nice, but it also means there is traffic noise. Overall, I recommend and would stay here again.
