Whether you like the basics, or if you prefer the luxury life of glamping, the Lynden/Bellingham KOA has you covered. We boast a variety of accommodations, from premium KOA Patio campsites, lakeside campsites, RV campsites, Tent campsites, as well as our one-room camping cabins, we have spots that you are sure to enjoy. Want to stay for a while? Inquire in our registration office about monthly Campsites. Located on the lower floor of our main building, the Kamper's Den is a terrific place to pick up your morning espresso, yummy treats, or try out a scoop of our delicious local Edaleen ice cream. When you are packing, don't forget to bring along your fishing gear! Our lakes are stocked with freshwater Bass and Rainbow Trout. Fishing is free for our customers, and no license required. If fishing isn't your thing, take a leisurely cruise around the lake by renting one of our pedal boats and take advantage of this terrific setting. Want to test your skill on the links? Buy a round of mini-golf and challenge the kids on our 18-hole miniature golf course. When the weather heats up, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. The kids are going to love our playground, and don't forget to bring your travel companions - we are pet friendly! Make sure to check out our dog park.  
 
Our KOA features a full calendar of entertaining events and themed weekends for all ages. These include fun events like Mardi Gras, Western Days, s'mores parties, barbecues, themed dances, New for 2025 is Halloween in July, as well as many other activities scheduled throughout the summer. Something that many of our customers enjoy is “Lynden KOA Movie night”. Every weekend, throughout the summer, we feature family-friendly movies presented under the stars. If you want to explore the local area, the charming small town of Lynden, Washington is just a few minutes away. Stroll along Front Street in our little Dutch-themed town, browse charming shops, reflect on the past at the Lynden Pioneer Museum, check out what is happening at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds, or grab a bite at one of the many great restaurants in our area. If the idea of a bigger city sparks your interest, Bellingham, Washington is only 25 minutes away. We are also know as the gateway to British Columbia. The Lynden/Aldegrove border crossing is only 5 miles from our campground. Canada, anyone?

You have several choices for staying at our KOA. Park your RV at one of our sites, experience a cabin stay or pitch your own tent in one of our Tent Sites, complete with a fire ring and picnic table.    
  
RV Sites—Our campground provides the perfect spot for RV camping near Lynden, Washington. From Patio Campsites with furniture and fire features, to log cabins, to tent and RV sites near the lake.    
Lodging—If you want an authentic camping experience, stay in one of our log 1-room camping cabins.    
Tent Sites—If you are looking for a more primitive camping experience, claim a Tent Site. All Tent Sites offer ample space to accommodate guests and provide an epic tent camping experience.   
Groups—If you're planning a group event, we can accommodate your party. You and your guests will have fun camping and participating in all of the activities, amenities and entertainment we provide.

Berthusen Park

Berthusen Park is a natural park of 236 acres with miles of trails through forest lands. It is the original homestead of Hans and Lida Berthusen and is located 1 1/2 miles northwest of downtown Lynden. The featured attraction is the Berthusen's 1913 cross-beam barn with antique farm equipment, a boat exhibit, and a Dahlia garden. Families will enjoy short interpretive hiking trails and playgrounds—also the home of the Puget Sound Antique Tractor & Machinery Association.
