Tent Reviews

Clean campground & bathrooms, lots of outdoor activities. My only dislike is the bathrooms are all located near the cabins, campers and RV's. Those staying in tents (that have no bathroom) had to walk a pretty good distance to use the facilities. During the day that's not too bad, but in the middle of the night - it is. You almost had to head to the bathroom before you needed to go.

Very nice KOA. Secluded, and big enough to feel like there's room to grow, woods and room to spread out. Camp sites are near everything. Go through Lynchburg if driving a big rig. Mountain is steep the other way.

Really nice KOA. Our GPS routed our big rig over a winding mountain road on the way in, which was a little intimidating and not a route I would normally choose. Fortunately, there was an easier way out. Once we arrived, the campground was beautiful, well maintained, and definitely worth the trip. We'd gladly stay here again now that we know the better route.

We stayed for a long weekend, just us and our two dogs. One dog was his first trip in the RV. Loved out site. Was shaded and close to the walking trails where we walked the dogs 3-4 times a day. The whole place is clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. Like it has a gate you need a code for after certain time of night Lots of fish in the pond. We will for sure be back and hopefully with our adult kids who could stay in a cabin near our RV. Is also located in a beautiful part of the state where you can find SO many things to do.
