The grounds were beautiful and not a single piece of trash anywhere. We love the "one stop does it all" restrooms that lock. As well as having a gated entrance. We will be back.

Three wonderful days of peace and quiet!! I tent camped during the week!! It rained for all three days but the camp grounds scenery is beautiful so I did a lot of walking in the rain!! The facility grounds and buildings are so well maintained and sparkling clean and every staff member I met was so accommodating and kind. I had a wonderful experience there.Reserve a spot and ENJOY your stay..

Our plans only permitted a two night stay. There is much to do in this area but with only one full day we went to the D-Day Memorial. It was very well done. The campground is in a great spot to tour this area. Jefferson’s summer home, Lynchburg, Blue Ridge parkway, several universities and so much more. The staff were so welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay.

We stayed at the park 6 days. At first, the dog park was clean. Each day it got worse with piles of poop, and the trash was not emptied in the dog park during our entire stay.

Sites are huge and level. They were wooded and beautiful. The workers were friendly. I would stay again when the area.

We had deluxe cabin 2. It was perfect, nice setup very private. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again.

Very nice park, lots of shade and level site, very quiet the night we stayed. Great bath house, clean and always like when they are private showers, would definitely stay again.

Overall nice campground with friendly staff. We had to upgrade to a different site because the site we were assigned B31 shared the gravel pad facing shower house.

A little hard to get to from I 81 but worth it. I should have been prepared though, having pulled a asphalt modified to Martinsville Speedway 3 times every year in the 80's

We were there for our daughter‘s graduation from liberty. Obviously, we’ve been happier if we had a cabin with the bathroom, but they were sold out. Some of the bathroom stalls smelled like a man might’ve peed on the floor and it seemed like there was continuously water on the floor in the bathrooms. I don’t know if you could put a plastic mat in there with holes in it or something to keep

It was a great location and the condition of the facility was the best. the only complaint would be the WIFI was very disappointing and at times worthless.

We made a last minute reservation at this campground on our way home from a two week road trip. The staff were super friendly and the deluxe cabin we stayed in was wonderful, exactly what we needed after so many miles on the road. Would highly recommend this campground, we will definitely be back! �

The campground is beautiful! Very clean and nice spacious sites. However, we were very disappointed that the "barking dogs" rules were not enforced. We listened to three small yorkies directly across the street from us bark nonstop for 4 days. After speaking with the dog owner, nothing changed. Reported it to the office and the dogs continued to be allowed to bark constantly.

Booking in the fall of 2026 we were told that the place was booked and didn’t have a choice of sites , others were cheaper and just as nice. With that much you think we would’ve gotten better Internet service which sucked! Poor excuses were given for it and management never contacted me back! speaking now, no one has contacted me yet. Partial refund. Would be nice.

This was a great stay. Super clean and very friendly staff. I loved my site being right by the pond as it was very peaceful and relaxing. The gravel pad was perfect for my tent. Having two picnic tables was great. Highly recommend this KOA.

This is our 3rd time staying at this campground and we definitely plan to return!! First let me say Stephanie went above and beyond to help our family and the entire staff is GREAT! The campground is very clean, the campsites are great and have ample space and the location is perfect for those visiting LU or Blue Ridge Mountains!! I would highly recommend!!

It was a very pleasant experience. WiFi is a little under powered in light of the lack of cellular data in the area. I look forward to staying again.

This is a very clean campground. The staff are very friendly. Its location makes for a quiet environment. They can even accommodate handicapped people in their cabins

I would highly recommend this campground. It is clean, well organized. The campsites are spacious and will maintained. Majority of sites appear to be pull through. It’s high on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I will return to this campground.

Excellent stay once again(our third or fourth) and as usual the campground was immaculate, the staff friendly, courteous and helpful. The campsites were spacious and shady. it is so close to a few Appalachian Trail heads so we were able to hike quite a few miles on it. We will be staying here again for sure.

Check in was a breeze. The camp host showed us to our site. The ladies working in the office/store were very friendly. The campground was very clean as were the bathrooms. Overall a very nice stay!

We had a great 4 day stay at Lynchburg KOA. The campground is clean and well kept. I love all the trees. We will be back for sure.

Hidden Gem. Very well organized and clean. Super friendly staff. Would recommend as a convenient place to stay for the night or longer to explore the area which is rich in History.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
