Very clean, quiet and the campground is surrounded by a beautiful setting with the mountains. The staff are very friendly and super efficient. For Easter they had a candy crawl for the kids which was very nice.

We had a great stay. The only thing that could use improvement is there is really no place to stage a large RV when you are arriving or leaving the campground. When you stop you are blocking the road.

We loved this Blue Ridge KOA, Tony is an awesome host and keeps the ground immaculate. The camp ground is close to many awesome hiking trails and near the Blue ridge parkway. We love to Hike and that was our draw here!

It was only for 2 nights but it was very nice and quiet. The office folks were very considerate and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved this campground. Clean friendly quiet. Woodee in the best way keeping that feeling of the area you’re in while having all the amenities of a KOA. Our kids loved the bounce pad, tether ball, Gaga pit and playground. Be plan on making this an annual trip.

Staff was very accommodating to travelers checking in late after office hours. Really appreciated the courtesy call and email to explain late check in process at the gates. Spot was spacious, very clean campground. Hope to stay longer next time when in the area.

The campground is beautiful with lots of trees throughout the grounds. The management was pleasant and happy to help whenever we had a question. The only thing that we had difficulty with was the layout. We had a 38 foot RV and was towing a car. It was difficult to determine where the "road" was as opposed to a campsite. I'm sure we left through a campsite accidentally.

Our first KOA stay. The hosts made it easy for us. Our kids loved the outdoor games and having the bath houses right by our site was super convenient. They could have been a little cleaner, but weren't bad.

The campground is very clean and well kept. Most sites are plenty large for most rigs. Fire wood is available and is delivered to your site. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Except for the occasional screaming kid the campground was very quiet and peaceful.

The grounds were nice. When it leafs out it will be very pretty. It was very well maintained. The bathrooms needed a place to set your things, like a bench, so when you get out of the shower you can sit to put on shoes without having to set your clothes and items on the floor. The proprietors were nice, helpful and friendly.

The folks who run the place are very friendly and the campground was really quiet though this is just the start of the season. Wifi worked very well, probably better than I have experienced any other campground but may be a function of fewer campers. We always look forward to staying at Lynchburg. The sites are very large and make us feel like we are free to enjoy our stay. The amenities are great and we enjoy them immensely. The staff is wonderful.

Awesome stay, just like the last two times! We love that the campground is less than two miles away from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and multiple lookouts. It is always quiet, and the people respect your privacy but are very friendly. The bath houses are clean and convenient. They also have a few nice walking trails for the pets. We will be back.

Really enjoyed our time at Lynchburg KOA. Campground was well maintained, sites were level and clean. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Selected this KOA for the proximity to nearby attractions, such as the natural bridge, and the town of Lynchburg. Great location! The campground itself was very clean, spacious, and the staff was wonderful!

Great place. Beautiful wooded campground. Very clean. Super friendly and easy check-in. Only drawback (not the campgrounds fault) was we went through Buena Vista to get there. I would not do that again. Take 81 to route 130. Then head to the KOA.

We chose to come during the fall, lower temps, fall scenery were the driver. It was our 7th trip of 2024. Location was very nice and well maintained. My only concern was the proximity of the cabin to site 34. Fire ring and swing were very close, young kids don’t recognize boundaries. That said I’d stay at 34 again and book the cabin for my kids and grand daughter because of the proximity.

People in the cabin up all night hollering and yelling it was pass 11pm then saying racism slurs, the lady in the front office her impression was she didn’t care I believe she was either friends or kin to those people overall it’s very nice park they need new management

Stayed 5 nights. Office rep was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. Bathrooms were clean, warm and ample. We had a pull thru site, which was great to maneuver into. The pond is full of fish…just bring your fishing pole and some worms! Trash pick up was offered and firewood was delivered to our site (after paying). I do wish there were designated areas for folks with dogs.

The sites were huge and level! Wooded campgrounds and beautiful. The workers were friendly. I would stay again when in the area.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
