Nicest KOA we have stayed at. Staff was efficient and friendly. The campground was played out very nicely. The amenities were in excellent condition.

We have stayed at this KOA a few times and is always nice and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always a nice place for a relaxed camping weekend.

Great staff! We liked the second site by the dog park better than I18. Those sites were a little thin. Can’t say enough about the quality of staff u have at your KOA. Keep up the good work!

this place is very quiet at night. the power went out twice during our stay but was corrected/repaired in a short period of time. we enjoy the close proximity to Natural Bridge State Park and Appomattox National Park. Great campground to nap. friendly staff kept us informed of the happenings of the power outage.

Nice place and friendly camp hosts!! Like parking on gravel but it’s sharp gravel. Everywhere. Hard on the human and dog feet to walk on. Nice dog park - well maintained and clean. GPS brought us up the twisty, switchback road. Should have come in from the North for the less twisty drive. Probably lovely in the Fall. Too much dust and gravel in the Summer. Just not our cuppa tea.

Even though the nation was suffering a heat wave, the moderately dense arboreal canopy surely decreased the temperature significantly - to the likely chagrin of DISH or DirecTV subscribers. The Bosewell owners/operators are most congenial and the staff is attentive. When engaging in a foray into Lynchburg, ignore your GPS navigation & turn left out of the park! 20 minutes will be saved!

Awesome. Everyone was wonderful. Upon leaving our awning broke off on one side. Everyone was so very helpful in finding a place to fix it. Can’t wait to come back.

Great place to spend a few days in southwest Virgina. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again soon.

Wow, treacherous drive into the park at night, not easy in the daylight either. Very nice park, beautiful but I would have not chosen it if I had known how far from the interstate. It is one of the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at, just wish we could have enjoyed it longer. Next time we’ll stay a week!

Great sites. Great people. This is our 3rd trip there(from Pa). Will be going back again. Had the steel belt seperate on a tire. Spare low on air and the staff set me up with a compressor. Also set me up with a tire store.

The campground is great! Everyone was nice and amenities were awesome. I would suggest more signs directing you around the campground. I’m sure I accidentally drove through a site or two as I wasn’t sure where the actual road was towards to back of the property.

Stopped as we headed north to visit family in PA. Being from south Florida, it was a refreshing trip. Great amenities for our grandson. Beautiful part of this country.

Spacious and well manicured sites along with clean bathrooms. Great camp store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed three nights in a deluxe patio and would stay again.

Fantastically friendly staff and nice setting. Our site was not very level and needed 4 blocks high plus some under the jack's, water pressure was too low to run our instant flow heater and the WiFi was intermittent.

Camp employees were very good. Check in was easy and booking online was very easy, but Campsites can be crowded. We had one couple looking into our campsite. The majority of the time we were there Internet was spotty at best on monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday and nonexistent on the weekends. Be aware that if you need to call out in case of emergency, you will not be able to.

The sites were huge and level! Wooded campgrounds and beautiful. The workers were friendly. I would stay again when in the area.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
