Beautiful scenery, fresh and clean air along with that special "BLUE RIDGE" thrill ride while pulling a camper. Camping trips like this take you back to being a kid again !! The amenities, games and staff were all amazing and courteous, not to say "expertly" responsive and knowledgeable !!! :-D

Very nice, quiet campground. Great hosts. An alarm was going off while we were out. I gave them the door code and they were able to go in and take care of the issue. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room, it has an awesome playground for kids and a dog park for your furry friends! We will definitely be back!

Decent park. The sites are extremely close together. WiFi wasn't that great either. Kept cutting out. And cell service is terrible. They love car passes too. At one point they ran out the office door to check my car pass even though it was hanging from the mirror. They even charge $5 for each guest that comes and visits you.

This campground was GREAT!! Cabins were cozy and the fire pit & swing was awesome, RV sites were easy to access, grounds well maintained, playground area was awesome for our grandsons and us adults, bathhouse were tidy, and Tony & Sarah were fantastic hosts!!

Great campground!! Check-in was easy, grounds were clean and well landscaped, outdoor play area was fantastic for our 4 grandsons as well as us adults, bath houses were tidy, cabin was so cute with the outdoor firepit and swing, and Sarah & Tony were the BEST!!!

a little out of the way but you can make the trip to and from Lynchburg very pleasurable by taking in the incredible scenery. We took the roads into Lynchburg but once there took 501 back.

It’s a lovely, clean campground and in a beautiful area. Very nice workers. The water had low pressure and the WiFi was weak as more people showed up. Otherwise, a great place.

Perfect place to camp or RV. This camp has nice bath house and beautiful landscape and lots to do for kids from table games and jump house also 1 mile from Blue Ridge parkway.Staff was awesome and very knowledgeable about the whole area thanks to them I had a great bike ride.

One of the cleanest well organized camp grounds we’ve been to. The cabin we had was very nice. We had no issues with anything on our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We are already planning a return trip for next year.

Very clean, quiet and the campground is surrounded by a beautiful setting with the mountains. The staff are very friendly and super efficient. For Easter they had a candy crawl for the kids which was very nice.

We had a great stay. The only thing that could use improvement is there is really no place to stage a large RV when you are arriving or leaving the campground. When you stop you are blocking the road.

We loved this Blue Ridge KOA, Tony is an awesome host and keeps the ground immaculate. The camp ground is close to many awesome hiking trails and near the Blue ridge parkway. We love to Hike and that was our draw here!

It was only for 2 nights but it was very nice and quiet. The office folks were very considerate and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved this campground. Clean friendly quiet. Woodee in the best way keeping that feeling of the area you’re in while having all the amenities of a KOA. Our kids loved the bounce pad, tether ball, Gaga pit and playground. Be plan on making this an annual trip.

Staff was very accommodating to travelers checking in late after office hours. Really appreciated the courtesy call and email to explain late check in process at the gates. Spot was spacious, very clean campground. Hope to stay longer next time when in the area.

The campground is beautiful with lots of trees throughout the grounds. The management was pleasant and happy to help whenever we had a question. The only thing that we had difficulty with was the layout. We had a 38 foot RV and was towing a car. It was difficult to determine where the "road" was as opposed to a campsite. I'm sure we left through a campsite accidentally.

Our first KOA stay. The hosts made it easy for us. Our kids loved the outdoor games and having the bath houses right by our site was super convenient. They could have been a little cleaner, but weren't bad.

Dissapointed in the cleanliness. Multiple gaps in the cabin(can see right outside or inside). Went to get coffe in the coffee pot they provide and it was full of a mouse nest. Looks like it hasnt been check in a long time. Bathrooms were dirty and outdated. The cabin was taken over by carpenter bees and ants. In general the old cabins need work!

The sites were huge and level! Wooded campgrounds and beautiful. The workers were friendly. I would stay again when in the area.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
