We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully maintained KOA. The showers rooms were clean. We had an end of row campsite that was very wide. It was a great place any hope to come back to visit soon. Thank you.

I don't remember the lady's name in the office and her husband but they were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Campsites are really nice especially being by the pond. Bat houses are the best ones I've been to it's like you have your own bathroom seriously. Very laid back campground we will definitely be returning with our two kids!!

This spot should be the model for all other KOA locations. The staff was friendly and clearly had things tightened up. the grounds were impeccable and each site seemed well-groomed. I recommend this location for anyone passing through or wanting to get in some biking, hiking, canoeing, ATV'ing or whatever. Do yourself a favour and get to this campground!

Lovely place and we will definitely be back! The only reason I am not rating a 10 and 5 is because of the golf cart traffic back and forth all weekend, the mowing on Saturday morning, and the skid steer and trailer traffic Saturday as well. It was almost impossible to relax or take a nap without going inside.

Nice clean campground with friendly people. Nice gravel lots that are large and pretty level. A little ways out so not a lot of traffic noise.

This was our fourth time to stay here so we knew it was nice. But we had not stayed in a Camping Cabin before. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. We stayed in Cabin 5 which has a little more privacy than some of the others and enjoyed that very much. We will be back and will tell others. Used the pond for fishing, cooked on the grill, and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit every evening.

We stay twice a year here and have always enjoyed ourselves. Camp sites are roomy and level. The people are very friendly and accommodating.

We were very impressed. The host families made sure the bathrooms and sites and social areas were clean and inviting. There are plenty of room separating sites. The site layout is laid by hand with stones. The water and septic and electricity were cleaned and ready for use. The pool looked crystal clear but we did not swim it was cool outside. The firewood was fully dry! Great stay.

We came in late and found our envelope. The space provided would not fit our trailer , it stuck out into the road. There was no one available to help us. We used an adjacent spot where we fit. I left a message that evening explaining the situation. We left at 6 the next morning. We were charged more money even though it was not our error. The length of the rv was given at the time of booking.

Wonderful location! So open, clean and welcoming. The staff were always so pleasant and helpful. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay again next time we come to Virginia.

The Camp Ground was very clean, and quiet, the Bathhouse was very clean. However for those that tent camp, it is a beautiful site, my one major complaint is that the bathhouse / bathrooms are at least .2 miles or 430 steps up hill one way from camp site A01. It would be a great benefit for tent campers to have at least some porta-potties down near the tent sites.

My new favorite KOA! Love this place. Peaceful wooded campground and the staff amazing, especially Tony! Lots to do in the area. Natural Bridge a must see!! Also Woodruff’s Pie shop down the road!!

This was our first time staying at a KOA, and I hope they are all this great! We booked a tent site, which was situated right next to the fishing pond. The site had water, electricity, and a tent pad to setup. The staff was extremely nice both at check-in and during our stay, bringing us firewood and making sure everything was good. My only notes are that the bathroom facilities are up a hill from the tent sites and a little trek... plus the tents are close to the road so the traffic noise can be a bit much. Overall, a great location, great employees, and great facility. If we make it back to this area, I would definitely stay here again.
